The employee asked me for my card to reserve a spot to sit in the study area, I explained that I live in Montreal and I don't have any. So he suggested I got back to my local library or study sitting on the Grass outdoors because the library is only to be used by Laval residents. I demanded to speak to the manager, she was a lovely lady who told him to make me a visitor's card, the employee apologized . I'm glad the manager was there.

(Original) Dommage que la bibliothèque soit si petite et ne dispose pas d'une très grande diversité de livres, d'autant plus que Laval-Ouest est un quartier assez défavorisé et les jeunes du coin mériteraient une VRAIE biblio (oui, sens-toi visé Marc Demers). Néanmoins, l'endroit a un cachet indéniable et il est agréable d'y étudier/lire en prenant un café. Il y a un petit parc également très sympa à l'arrière pour jouer à la pétanque.
