It takes an entire day to visit all galleries in the museum. There is a variety of dinosaur fossils, they are quite impressive and take up large sections within the building. It is a great place to take children since there are dedicated areas for them, but it would be even more appealing if a greater number of areas were interactive. The cafeteria was disappointing, food was tasteless and therefore overpriced. The administration should take action immediately, renovate it, modernize it and offer higher quality food. The upside is accessibility, the entire place has wide hallways and elevators, almost all exposition is in English and French.

It is one of the main tours of Toronto, really a must, as it allows tourists to get to know in depth various cultures and incredible collections. On the visit, right at the beginning, you will come across galleries on world culture, with collections that include Asian art, Egyptian mummies and African jewelry. In addition, during the tour you will be able to discover one of its best and most beautiful collections, composed of true riches of the Earth, such as meteorites, rocks, minerals and precious stones. Another highlight of the Royal Ontario Museum is the bat cave, especially for those who like a little more interactive exhibits. You can even hear the sound of animals, learn how caves are formed and also how bats use echolocation. In the same environment, it is possible to watch a dramatization of bats in a night flight for food. The exhibition that also gains notoriety is the expressive collection of dinosaur skeletons. Among them, the famous Tyrannosaurus rex, the mighty Barosaurus and also the well-known hadrosaurus Parasaurolophus. There are also temporary exhibitions, so check the calendar on the website to find out if during the period you are going to visit the city, it will receive a different collection. ATTENTION: Near the museum is located the subway station “MUSEUM”, which is worth a visit, as it was fully decorated with Egyptian motifs. É um dos principais passeios de Toronto, realmente imperdível, pois permite ao turista conhecer mais a fundo diversas culturas e coleções incríveis. Na visita, logo no início, você vai se deparar com galerias sobre a cultura mundial, com coleções que incluem arte asiática, múmias egípcias e joias africanas. Além disso, durante o passeio você poderá conhecer uma de suas melhores e mais bonitas coleções, composta por verdadeiros riquezas da Terra, como meteoritos, rochas, minerais e pedras preciosas. Outro destaques do Museu Real de Ontário é a caverna dos morcegos, ainda mais para quem gosta de exposições um pouco mais interativas.
