You must have seen that it has an average rating is very high, and it's founded on a very large number of scores, so we can conclude that the rating is very faithful. If people have bothered to value when they've done well, it works.

This Library is included in the category of Public library.
Now-a-days the library sometimes get too loud and out of control but their books are still good. Their system gets buggy tho and sometimes calls u to remind u that u didn't return one of their books when u know you did manually return all books and witnessed it from their tablet screen whatever is called.
It is a good place to enjoy yourself and learn something.
The best library in GTA in relation with the atmosphere for studying.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great selection, both in library and online. Great soundproof room for kids to play in. Story time and other activities.
lol 3d printing
Very beautiful library!
Honestly, I came here knowing that people talked and that this was a noisier than most kind of library. I expected talking and a little bit of bustle. I however was not expecting a concert to happen in the middle of the library. Since when did a library allow a musical concert? A library is meant for quiet to read and work. If a concert was not going on I would have given this place 4 stars because its expected to listen to quiet chitter chatter. A musical concert is not appropriate for a library setting EVER!
Lots of books! A big place with nice environment.
Beautiful sunny library with really good air quality and acoustics. Very well designed building. Good selection of books and DVDs. I love coming here.
Friendly staff! but the children here playing their video games make it extremely difficult to study.
More akin to a daycare than a library. They also have a 3D printer for those interested. Staff is nice.
Has a nice selection of books, very broad and well-organized. My favourite place to be.
It's clean, beautiful, large and open, lots and lots of books, and plenty of private and open computers. One thing though, the computers usually have random kids playing Minecraft or Roblox on them so beware of that.
very nice library, nice staff, lots of quiet study rooms. very good kids reading area. lots of program for kids. very comfortable for just go in and read some books.I have been using it for more than 8 years and I love this library.
I couldn't figure it out, it is a library or daycare or coffeeshop!!! Kids are crying and playing around. People are talking loudly. Staff 's conversation. Is it library or family community center? Hum!!! I am disappointed!
Librarians were attentive, very nice and knowledgeable! But right now the place is doing renovation inside and outside of the library, so its not as convenient as it used to. But i still recommend here
The staff could be a lot nicer to the public. Lack of eye contact, not being rude. The basics. Very saddening.
Lots of selection! The staff is very friendly and the library is always clean and organized. Tons of computers and other resources.
Always a friendly service and they are doing a great job dealing with covid and the construction situation
Feel safe,friendly and relaxed here
This is a great library to work in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Finding a section/table to work at might be a bit tricky at times because of how busy the place is. The wifi works great and there are many power outlets around the library. This library is very clean.
I mostly visit kids room in the library and I have to stay its a gem in Aurora. Great variety of books for children, which is growing every single time we visit. Recently, some wooden toys, a doll house, legos, a lego table and stacking cubes are added to the space, which have added to the quality of time children spend in the library. Overall, children's room is a sun-filled room with a great view, bathroom facility with changing table, a nursing room, loads of good books (suitable for different age groups) and many good toys that every kid in the area can enjoy.

What a great building to go, relax and read. Very thankful it's here.
Not the biggest library I've been to but a well stocked and comfortable one. There are self checkout terminals in the front and either at the front or right outside the library carts of books on sale for cheap. There's also a small but mighty selection of CDs and magazines. Lots of seating for reading/studying as well.

Great books!
I love this library because of the nice people that work here but I just don't like the fact that there is too many screaming children and it get's in the way of me focusing on my studies or reading books without getting distracted.
My number one place to go with my daughter in Winter. Beautiful building, with special children's room. Good choice of books, plus a great website to order books from. The staff is super friendly and always eager to help.
Be carful.... it’s 2020 and technology has been on this planet for a very long time, Aurora Public library isn’t open until 11AM change the time on here! Your going to make people very angry. Especially if people are walking in the am. If you don’t know how to change the time let me know and I can help.
Terrible place to study. Very loud place
Best library with awesome staff members! They do not lack in selections.
Excellent public library and staff. Beautiful library in the historical part of town. Wonderful collections. The Children's room is one of my kid's favourite places to go (before the pandemic).
Dedicated, enclosed kids' room; clean and spacious.
Beautiful building! Quiet modern and spacious. Love the enclosed children’s area, has lots of little tables, couches, a great selection of books. Staff are very friendly and helpful!
Great selection. Quiet atmosphere.
Hi do you open for now?
LOVE this place! One of my son’s favorite , lot of activities for toddlers. Friendly staff, good location(Yonge and Wellington) The only problem for me is they just open half day on Sundays (from 1 o’clock in the afternoon ) .Otherwise is perfectly fit my schedule!
Great library. Wonderful selection and the staff are amazing.
You'll be hard pressed to find a town library as awesome as the APL. The facility itself is full of light and open architecture to give it a great airy, comfortable feeling. The staff and librarians are wonderfully engaged in the community at large. The programs offered to all ages are interesting and fun! The space dedicated to art exhibits can't be missed.
This is a great place to do work peacefully. I love the atmosphere and the people around. The place also motivates me to come again, focus on the job at hand. Thank you
service nice. Very clean
This places is great for people of any age. They have so many cool programs that involves everyone of different ages and ethnicities. It's a great place to study and do work, however it does get busy especially during crunch time and may be hard to find seating if you have a large group of people. They also have private study rooms but are usually full when busy.
Good selection of books, very nice staff, and a quiet atmosphere. Very easy to navigate as well.
Clean and well kept library. Great place to work and explore for kids and adults.
Great and beautiful space
Nice stuff . I'm comfortable in this place.
Nice and Warm, staff are friendly.
Kindest, most helpful staff you'll ever meet. I've been going here since before I could read! I remember the hours I would spend in here sometimes, it was definitely a second home. The librarians are like aunts, always asking how we are and being so genuinely kind and enthusiastic. They offer amazing programs, have a wide variety of books and dvds, they've somewhat recently undergone a renovation with nicer, newer computers and helpful self checkouts, reasonable borrow times, and the most convenient little cafe right inside. It's always been a dream job of mine as a teenager. This library is relatively big compared to most in York Region and very clean and organized. Would HIGHLY recommend as your regular library
amazing place to hang out with friends they have a cafe at the front and i get tutored there so that's a plus also after that you can also find good tutors there and a lot tutors there that you can talk to to arrange session. a wide selection of books and movies. but guess what? the movies dont play liked they got scratched up by wolverine. but be careful there are some kids there who think there so gangsta and will threaten you, but just walk away they will leave you alone. over all great place!
good place
Staff on the 2nd floor are very friendly. One thing happened for quite a few times, I returned all the books to the library, and they told me that I still have one book not returned, I know I did returned, so at the end I found the books at the library.
Nothing special, but does the trick if you're looking for a good place to study. I recommend getting a private study room if you need silence.
Perfect
I was working on an important project on the computers and it randomly shut off... There goes 2 hours of hard work for nothing smh
best library
Great place to study, really nice staff, and a great open layout!
Really nice public library.
The best part about the library is the staff, they are so kind and helpful. The rest could use work in all areas. It has potential to be an amazing library with more funds. The Richmond Hill public library is a good example of what Aurora needs to have.
As a semi-regular user, 90% of the time I quickly and easily find what I want, the rest of time I approach the staff who have been consistently pleasant and helpful, and once in a while they simply don't have what I'm looking for, which is understandable. Its a bright and airy atmosphere, and easy to get quiet study space.
The library has made curbside pick up very easy
Always accomodating for one's academic and leisure reading needs. Love this place after renovation.Stocked with new movies and books.
Great library! Good book selection, very comfortable environment, lots of children's programs and very modern. Perfect for working, or reading or playing.
Beautiful place, perfect for reading or studying for a test. If you are tutoring someone or are studying in a group of 2 you can sign out one of the many study rooms (at the front desk) that are really quiet. It's a small room with a large desk, a charger outlet and 2 chairs. I've used it before and it's great for people with social anxiety who don't want to sit close to other people. They have an amazing book selection. On the bottom floor you will find Adult books and text books on anything from physiology to algebra. On the top floor you will find the YA books and on the oppisite side you will find a MASSIVE amount of children's books. There is even a designated section for the kids called "the kids room" where you'll find many books, seats and toys for children to play with. The library has seating at every turn. On the edges of the build top and bottom you will find a long table with seats and dividers to separate the table into 4 sections. These tables are good if you're going there to do a quick study on your computer or go over your notes but not so good if you want to hardcore study with multiple binders and notebooks as the table space isn't huge. In this case I reccomend using one of the study rooms or coming with a couple friends and using the large tables as these will easily fit about 4 "hardcore" studiers. If you didn't come there to study but just to read a magazine or book they have lots of comfy couches and seats. My personal favourite is on the top floor at the very back (the part that faces the road). There, instead of leather chairs they're caurdaroy and are way more comfy than the leather ones. If you are disabled or find it hard to walk up the stairs, they have an elevator that is free for use to all visitors. The people that work there are super nice and will help you with whatever you need. Can't find a book? Want to sign out a study room? I have asked the librarians there these questions many times before and everytime they have helped me. They do have computers that can be used for up to 90 minutes that you can do anything on ( with safe search enabled ). They don't care. I've seen people do things from making power points and essays to people watching vines on youtube. But to be honest if you are doing some serious work like an essay or research paper that's worth 40% of your mark then I strongly reccomend to sign out a study room because in all honesty it really helps you focus because you can't hear all the noise from outside and you ( and partner ) can practice presenting the work without being heard by people sitting by. UNIVERSITY AND GRADE 12 STUDENTS. Come here on your day/periods off. It is so so so worth it to get a Jumpstart on that new project. I am pretty sure that you can reserve study rooms beforehand. It is so worth it. Especially if you are taking majors in law, math or science. Those are very complicated and can be hard to remember. If you cannot get a study room it's alright. Everyone especially on the bottom floor is respectful and is quite. If someone is being a bit to loud you can quietly tell them to quiet down a bit and most of the times they will happily do so. All in all, an amazing place. It is one of my favourite places to tutor and work on projects/study with friends or even by myself.
The staff help me find good books 4 me and my girls
One of the loudest libraries that I have been in. Library etiquette really is not followed at all.
The stuff is always helpful and friendly; I visit the library almost every week with my kids. We enjoy going and reading at there.
This is no library, if you wanna read a book or study, DO NOT COME HERE. It is so incredibly loud, everyone talks at normal voice and the staff doesn't care anymore after all these years. It's so obvious too because you rarely see people come study/read here anymore. Kids are just running around screaming at the top of their lungs. This is no library.
Nice library. Didn’t spend much time inside the library as I was going for a workshop. It appears to me that there are a lot out power outlets around tables. A lot of intellectual and interesting events.
Always great service by the librarians and the library is clean and well organized.
Decent library. However has more of a community centre feel with children running around and admin staff having long conversations all around you. Good to just come grab a book but if you plan on reading/studying it is really hard to do so.
I went on a lovely Aurora history walk hosted by the library - even though I live fifteen minutes south, I never realized how much like a little time capsule this town is! Thank you :)
Love my local library. A lot of materials. Very nice staff members. Good selection of events.
Lovely place with the good staff. The special kid room. My son is really happy there.
They are Closed Sundays in the months of May to September. It has a nice website many different genres, books, dvd's, and even video games (ps4,xbox 1)
very helpful and friendly staff and nice place but with very TERRIBLE INTERNET that has very low speed and gets disconnected all the time. plus I wish they were open on Mon from morning instead of 1pm
Nice study spaces. The programming here is outstanding and forward-thinking, for both kids and adults.
the hours there suck, it should go one or 2 more hours after it closes regularly on weekends, but the place itself is pretty good but i still am upset about how bad the hours are especially for my scechual
My number one place to go with my daughter in Winter. Beautiful building, with special children's room. Good choice of books, plus a great website to order books from. The staff is super friendly and always eager to help.
Very rude and unprofessional staff.
Been living in aurora for over 8 years and this place is like a second home for gaming and free but slow wifi
Nice library but FREEZING COLD this summer and probably only 2 or 3 male employees. Wear pants and bring a jacket!! No summer to be had at Aurora Library. Phone chargers are cool.
rudest staff, loudest library, not enough space to sit, no quite zone... it shouldn't even be called a library. although they got some nice books
Nice open space and lots of quiet rooms for studying. Some staff members are ok others not so welcoming.
If i could give this one star, I WOULD!!!!!!!. This place is more like a Chuck E Cheese! This disgrace of a library gets a one star for being the worst place to study. Would not recommend spending you're time at this place.
Beautiful building. Great friendly staff. Nice quiet areas within the library. Like the comfy leather chairs!
Adjust your hours online so people don't come to your library when its closed. You could also leave an email address or a phone number for general inquiries outside of business hours.
Nice place for study, there is no one disturb you
A also library with all my favourite books and lot’s of computers for work!
Great library, however there are some problems. It's great that the library has so many children programs and after school programs, but that also causes a problem. Kids are running around and screaming and being a huge distraction, playing video games on the computer, which is taking up space for people that actually need to use to computer. There is never enough parking for the amount of people that use the library and there is never any study rooms available because they are being used for children programs instead of having it for people that would actually need to study, like university students. Kids treat the library like it's a play ground with very little over site from the parents or the staff. It's a very nice library and the town spends a lot of money on it and it has a ton of resources, but it needs to be treated as a library, not just a place that holds books and has computers.
Very nice library
Nice place to review and study. Nice and polite staffs
