Great public library. Extensive collection and very helpful staff. During COVID they have been diligent in keeping safe health protocols in place. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during busy periods.

Honestly, it's a great library! Lots of space. The first couple times I went it was peaceful and I got lots of work done. The last couple times I've went there however, there were a bunch of lil teenagers running around yelling at each other and just lacking common respect for others. They either need security like Alderney, or the librarians need to step up and take control of their library.

Halifax public libraries is a very well managed and organised public service. They move books around from library to library so that you only have to pick up at the library closest to you. Searching for titles is easily done using their online portal. Extremely well run public utility. Great for immigrants learning the language and culture in Canada. I can't say enough good things about Woodlawn public library.

Very kind staff, always encouraging young readers to continue focusing on literary aspects in life. Events for youth once a week and updates on social media to keep the children informed of any changes. Great place and super convenient!

Very pleasant library. I bring my toddler and there is a great selection of books and toys for her. She loves it! They do try to make it a welcoming haven for young ones, so occasionally there will be a bit more noise than you would think of for a library. However, I truly appreciate their efforts to help the youth and create a space that is inviting for them. They do a fantastic job!
