DESCRIPTION

Here you will be able to see the feddbacks of people like you who are consuming the services of Colchester-East Hants Public Library (Library) around Nova Scotia territory (Canada).

To this day the business receives a score of 4.6 stars out of 5 and the rating has been calculated on 26 reviews.

You may have noticed that the average of ratings is almost the best one, and it's based on a very high number of reviews, so we can think that the score is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well with the business, it works.

You know that we don't usually bother to place tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

It's a lovely library and the librarians are just fabulous when help is asked of them. Can't thank them enough.

This “new” library is a beautiful renovated space that has been creatively designed to feature old mixing with new additions seamlessly. My favorite part is how the triple window arches are now doorways to the new section leading from the cathedral center of the building allowing a sense of lighted symmetry. The library also works hard to create programming for its clientele. If you like architecture, it’s worth a visit, and if you love reading, you’ll find lots of choices to stimulate your brain. :-)

We are so lucky to have such a stunning, child friendly library in Truro! Not to mention that they provide SO many free workshops and speeches

The new facilities are fantastic. Plenty of lounging and reading space. Even spaces devoted to creation! They have computer labs with 3D printers.

I am a member at the library for quite sometime, but I don't frequent it like I had in the past. And I am Black. I had a bad experience today. The service was poor by 2 employees. They were not nice. They were more nice to 2 white men. They acted like they didn't want me there. I put my mask down just below my nose and one lady acted like I had germs. There was this white man who was loud and annoying. White people will always. While people will always think Black people are beneath them

Friendly staff. Not a lot of non-fiction selection - so if you're trying to research something, you'll likely need a secondary supply for sources (but a huge selection of fiction/romance). The only complaint I've ever had is that a couple of the staff can't seem to wrap their heads around my Stocard app which I use to store all my membership/loyalty cards. I usually just carry my phone and debit card and have all my other cards loaded on my phone. I've lost track of the amount of times they've told me to bring my actual card in to borrow items because their scanner doesn't like phone screens. So...time to update your scanner since that's the way everything is going. I mostly use digital borrowing now anyway for this very reason.

Was under the impression printing cost .10 per page. Went in with $5 to pay for my 36 page template which I needed before my shift. When I discovered it would cost 7.20, not 3.60, I ask for debit, NO DEBIT. AND unwilling to lend the 2.20 even if my card was blocked until I paid it back. Will not be doing any more of my printing at this facility.
