A very well stock library, beautifully designed, inviting you to just want to sit on the floor and read a book as if you are home. Blessing to all of those who contributed to the library, who built it so that many people can come to this place. Reading what a gift, it's a gift of Education, young kids with wild imagination get to explore all the different books thats a gift of a lifetime. God bless the St. Catharines public library - Dr Huq (who is an amazing Dr well informed in so many fields he's such a giver i was was bless to be in his presence)

Really clean library and a large variety of books and the customer service was fairly good( could be improved). They've books, movie DVDs, TV shows DVDs and video games.

This place is very clean. They have a nice working atmosphere. Very quiet as all libraries are. Just the frustrating part is that the books you want are always gone haha. Nothing you can do about it really. But I highly recommend this place.

So glad I decided to take some time to get to the local library. Helpful staff, and overall a positive experience! Covid precautions and signage clear. It's definitely a very active environment! Now to settle in with this good book!

lady at the screening area by the door: "i'll need your library card" me: "I don't have one, I'm here to actually apply for a library card." lady: "ok i'll just need your phone number" me: *gives it to her* lady: "ok perfect." *walks away* me: *standing with my toddler by the door for about 5-7 mins, confused as to if i still need to wait at the screening area or can i just roam around. is she coming back with papers for me to fill out? where the heck do i go to apply for the library card?* a few minutes of watching her back and organizing books at the circulation area, i decided to go to the kids' book area with my toddler. then i finally was able to get a hold of someone so I can print something on the computer using a guest pass. When the papers came out of the printer, it was brought to me (since no patrons can touch the printer due to sanitary reasons; understandable). when i asked how much it was - the man gruffly said "80 cents." ok. so this was my first visit at the library here, as i just moved from hamilton. the first 15 printouts there at the hamilton library was free for patrons, so i felt a pang of missing my old place. disappointing experience here.

Staff are helpful - lots of parking with about a dozen or so handicapped spots and the parking is free which is a really helpful thing for seniors. I personally feel that public places like this the seniors should always have complimentary parking and in order to do this perhaps seniors should get a seniors card when they reach 65 just like they do in British Columbia

This entire community center is very standoffish and ignorant. They consistantly make me feel like a criminal when I come here, watching and staring at me; when Im doing nothing but using wifi. Sorry Im poor and dont have wifi at home, this is unprofessional and direspectful to any member of the community. I come here every day and everyday I get the same attitudes. I call them out for staring and ask if they have a problem, to come say it to me face to face and they call the cops. Horrible. The park is beautiful though and full of pokemon and lovely friendly families that dont discriminate against people with tattoos.

A library is a cherished place in a functional community and this system of libraries throughout the region is as good as it gets. If the particular branch closest to you doesn't have what your looking for, chances are one of the other branches do and they will bring that item to that branch at your request. They have everything from books, video games, movies and a 3D printer. Love it
