We had a reservation for our group at 18h and ask politely if we could push it to 19h and we were told it would be possible at 19h30. We agree to it. When we came in at 19h15, we were told be the waiter and the owner that they were frustrated about us pushing the reservation and that we will wait a long time to be serve... at the end they refuse to serve us food... worst experience i ever had. Honestly not sure what people are expecting here. This is a typical pub with a decent selection of beers and a basic menu. I came here with my wife and two kids. The waitress was attentive and the food and drinks came quickly. The food itself is decent and is priced at a typical pub rate, the appetizers are actually cheaper than average. The biggest plus however is the large open area where my young kids can run around with one of us while waiting for food, or allowing one parent to eat in peace. One thing I would recommend to the owners though is to get rid of the pretzel bread on the kids burgers and use regular buns.

Today, July 4th 2020, I went there - Pub Le Chalet- with 6 of my friends. I am a brown man, and the lady, probably she was the manager, refused to give me water even when I bought overpriced veggie burger and even paid 15% tip. The server was nice though. She tried to give us the water but the manager refused her to do so. Talk about discrimination, see the live example at this pub if you are a person of a color! I guess it was my last time going there.

Very disappointed. The Menu choices are extremely limited and being a party of six we all ate something different and all disappointed. The plates were expensive for what we received and not to mention very ordinary. The service was mediocre and loud music made it impossible to hear each other talk (even if it was good music by Randy Mac). Toutefois, cela n'était pas totalement vrai: il était parfaitement possible de commander quelques repas plus simples tels que des bâtonnets de fromage ou alors des cornichons frits (si ces derniers n'avaient pas étés en rupture de stock). Il faut également passer notre commande à l'intérieur, un peu comme dans une cantine. Aucun service aux tables n'est offert. Un peu surprenant compte tenu de l'apparence de l'endroit, du menu et surtout des prix. Même chose pour l'eau qui, même en temps de Covid est en libre-service. Les employés qui nous servent derrière le bar n'ont quant à eux pas de masque au visage. Douteux. Une fois nos bâtonnets de fromage prêts, nous sommes appelés par micro pour venir les chercher nous-même, un peu comme dans un restaurant fast food. Vraiment une ambiance pas particulièrement relaxante d'entendre les gens être appelés à venir chercher leur commande par un bruyant haut-parleur. Finalement, nous avons consommé nos cocktails plutôt ratés le plus rapidement possible pour mettre fin à ce festival de la confusion. Nous étions d'ailleurs assis à une table chambranlante réservée pour à peine une heure plus tard car personne ne s'occupait de placer la clientèle (laissez-moi donc douter de la désinfection des tables). Bref, ne vous laissez pas tromper par les airs haut de gamme et "cosy" de l'endroit. Si vous y allez avant 18h, il n'y a pas de service aux tables et le personnel est vraisemblablement "understaff". Il est toutefois POSSIBLE de commander certaines choses à manger, mais vous devrez déduire de tout ceci car absolument rien n'est clair. Pour après 18h, c'est peut-être autre chose, mais je ne tenterai pas le coup.

I organized a supper with my colleagues, we were 20 people. Reservation was at 6pm and we asked the guy at the door, Eric, to push our reservation. We left him the choice, because we knew that we were a group and that it might creates inconveniences but Eric told us it was ok and he agreed to push at 7:30pm. When we arrived right on time, eric took me aside and told me that he was not happy because he refused customers, because of us. I was surprised because he agreed to it. Then he told me that my colleagues better be patient because we will wait long for the food. We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for the appetizers. I went to speak to Eric because we were kind of hungry and he was super defensive, repeated that because of us he lost tables. He was condescendant, very not pleasant.
