Lovely place with lavenders Lots of lavender products to purchase from Ideal place for picnic ????
Only visit during lavender season, which is from mid-july to mid-august. Beautiful place, but not much to see when lavender season is out.
Great experience very friendly staff spoke English and French. Wide variety of products. Very peaceful. We Will definitely be returning for another visit.
(Translated) Great time spent at Bleu lavande in Estrie! We went there with our picnic (I advise you to make a stop at the Red Beret, an excellent dish cooked on site) and we settled in the lavender fields with our little dog! The staff are very welcoming and the sanitary rules are very well applied! Thank you ???? Merci ????
Lovely lavender fields, products and great interpretation about the products
Lovely experience with the family. Nice boutique with quality products. Walking the fields was a real treat. Incredibly scenic views and lovely smells.
Its ok
Amazing views
Wonderful visit and a relaxing area to enjoy nature! ????
Its nice
Nice place to visit
This place is Amazing views. Great helpful staff. Amazing products sold here as well. Plenty of room for the little ones to run around and tire themselves out.
Beautiful and relaxing place... You can buy lavender products and plants on place.
Very beautiful but not much activities to do.
(Translated) Very nice store, always excellent products and the new location in Magog more accessible.
Beautiful but expensive
Don't go this year, wait at least 2 years to go back. I just visited on 9th July 2021. The plants are newly planted so it will take 2 to 3 years to give full bloom. The previous place was bigger and natural and plants were mature, we visited the previous place 2 times and it was lovely. This time at the new Magog place, the plants are young not a single flower on most of the baby plants. The landscaping is good and it will take at least 2 years to get a good view. 15$ entry fee is not at all worth it. See the photo for reference. They should have make it free or 5$ entry fee. One two spots of Lavender we find it in city's landscapes.
Needs alot of development before they can charge 15$ a head. Clean place with potential however.
Very pleasant experience! Bring a picnic and the experience gets even better!!
Beautiful views and a divine fragrance through the farm!
Great place to visit. The interior interpretive experience was great, and in the field our guide Richard was pleasant. Upon learning I was the lone Anglophone who understood a little French, Richard would check if I wanted more info in English. Very great visit, much to the credit of that pleasant guy. Try the honey lavender chocolate bars.
Very calm and relaxing.
Bring your cameras, bring your food, bring your blankets and bring your smile. This place is nice, clean and has a free entrance fee. Lots of parking and friendly staff.
2020 (covid) it's free to go
A lovely farm. Free walking in the lavender fields which is so appreciated. Absolute must: jardin de detente, relaxing garden. Two food trucks sell lunch. It was quite pricey.
Nice fragrances.
Nice place loved the smell of lavender floating around!!
The odors are great while you're there. Leave completely relaxed with something to enjoy at home.
Nice and relaxing time with the amazing smells. Good way to spend afternoon. Best enjoyed in July and august when flowers in full bloom.
Beautiful and relaxing
It was boring we spend alot of time ro drive ther I was thinking I would be cooler then it was it's bad the only fun that I did ther is take pictures that's it
The biggest section was all baby lavender. Only the small sections were grown.
Disappointed this time. They are kind of relocated and renovated, but this time it did not really worth the entrance fee. Its just bigger farm with less visitors. No cafe anymore. And they removed the wild flower garden.
Not a lavender type of guy loll. My gf dragged me there. I was amazed at all the products that can be done with this. This place is amazing. Nice setup its lovely that we can admire the field while shopping in the boutique.
it was fun to visit, it was my first time there, the lavender was cute and pretty, hope they have restaurant so we can buy foods
Great place for great pictures...
We went in the off season, so it was free. Only a small portion of lavender was in bloom, but it was still very beautiful. The farm itself is very big, and it was a relaxing visit.
This place is beautiful but also feel like a tourist trap; 9$ to walk 15min around a garden... Okay.
Great activity. Your recommended
The location is nice even though there were not many fully grown and bloomed Lavender flowers and the field is quite small (it takes around 20 min to look at it at a slow pace). I can only give two stars for the location + presentation but not more because the price of entry is overpriced to only visit the "field". Moreover, some of the staff was not very helpful nor nice. Indeed, when I went there with my family we couldnt do the "atelier" activity as advertised there on the entry wall and the website. When I asked whether we could do something different or have the lavender pouches at least, the young people working there were totally unhelpful and unfriendly. They did not to care at all to provide a solution. All in all, I had to ask for the manager when I talked to cashier (who was also unhelpful). The manager was a very nice and polite lady that solved the situation. Overall, it is a CUTE small field but is definitely NOT worth 15 CAD/person. If I may suggest the price entry needs to be reviewed and customer service could benefit from some improvement. Unfortunately, the staff in general does not know how to handle customer service which can a be a real bummer for customers. I sincerely hope you can improve the above mentioned aspects.
Got lavender body lotion. It is amazing.
(Translated) Very nice place, nice walk in the laundromat, young plants but beautiful flowering, very welcoming guides, very nice shop and interpretation area (Original) Très bel endroit, belle promenade dans la lavanderie, jeunes plants mais belle floraison, guidées très accueillants, très belle boutique et espace d'interprétation
Beautiful place to go with the kids , pets allowed the smell of lavender is nice you can Picnic there if you want. Very friendly people that work there.
A beautiful place! You can have a picnic in the field, it is pretty nice!
Very pretty a stop if in Canada the staff was so nice and helpful.
The boutique is amazing, they have a lot of lavender products. $15 entry free for the lavender fields is a bit too much, basically it's just a picnic spot.
(Translated) There is nothing to see. $ 15 plus tax and when you get there it doesn't look at all like the photos on Google it's not even an open space you feel like you're locked in a big yard. The new location is ridiculous. I stayed there 30min no more. Extremely disappointed. Waste of time and money. I won't come back even if they add more lavender (Original) Il y a rien à voir.
Worth the visit! This is a must visit place when visiting Quebec!
amazing place for photography
Ok to visit once. Does not look as magical as hyped up to be.
Beautiful place. There is a couple of activities if you want to bring your kids.
Loved the experience. However, to see the most beautiful colors, you should go in mid-july and not wait too much : it is a farm and they have to cut the colors to make the amazing products that they sell. Small tip : bring your lunch in a cooler, there are a lot of places to eat a bite and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful fields of lavander.
Beautiful place to visit. You won’t be disappointed
Loved it!
Very nice, and cheap
Nice place
Boaring
Nothing impressive, overpriced gift shop
Staff is super friendly and this place has phenomenal! Just an all around great place with awesome products and even with allergies I could smell the lavender.
Beautiful fields with a tour, boutique and massage tents among beautiful flower gardens. Very busy in season, so arrive early and/or on a weekday.
Cool place. The store is pretty overpriced. It's a fairly touristy spot.
They say it's bilingual but not thrue. They just have certain presentation at certain time that are in english. You may have to spend most of your day wondering aroud in order to get all the presentations in english. The ticket booth do not know anything about the english presentations and they tell you it's bilingual. They want you there just to buy their overprice products. Will not recomand it.
Beauty!
Excellent place for visit.
Its a private big Lavendar farm (Garden). They also manufacture variety of Lavendar products like perfumes, soaps, air freshners, creams, etc., They provide a guide session about the Lavendar Gardens and its history. A good refreshment place. During the season, they charge an entrance ticket but not during unseasons.
A nice place to go take pictures if you're around but isn't worth a long ride.
Beautiful lavender farm, different experience, very good products. Suitable for family vacation.
Lovely Lavande trip
Lavender in Quebec? This is a new thing and if you're a fan, you'll love it. Tons of film students from CEGEP wearing cool straw hats, shooting projects. Smells great. Free sachets to keep under your pillow to help you chill.
Great scenery! I liked the fact that it’s free to enter and you can go there for a picnic with your loved ones. Don’t expect more than a lavender field with some history. Personally, the experience was cold, it’s just a milking machine (big company), we didn’t have any human interaction.
Before going, I thought this might be a bit of a kitschy experience, but I'm so glad we went. Very relaxing experience overall. We went in July around the Lavender Festival, so the flowers were in full bloom. Weather around that time is great too which helps as it's mostly an outdoor experience. The massage is a must - they have very very good massage therapists who know what they're doing. The food was not so great though, and neither were the tourists, or the walking tour. You're better off just walking around and reading info signs around the farm. They said the tour would be bilingual but the guide said a paragraph on French and half a sentence in English and sometimes forgot to translate. Lol
We like it ..I recommend to visit it ..You'll like the scent of Lavender..You can buy many Lavender products..????????♂️????❤
Absolutely loved this place! The scenery was so peaceful and it smelled so good. We were able to walk around and just enjoy the view while soaking up in the sun.
This place is our next go to place during summer time
I went there on 21st July 2018. There are flowers but not enough to give a spectacular view.
Very nice place to take a stroll in the field and enjoy the sun. It's a bit touristy for my taste and if you can, bring your picnic. The food truck is not bad, but it's extremely long to get your food (took me over 45 minutes).
I went there with a few friends. The fields weren't lavender-y enough but for the timing of the year, it was still beautiful. I would have wanted to buy some essential oils but there were so many people inside and had we wanted to go inside the boutique, we would have had to wait for 15-20 minutes. The café was unfortunately closed, it would have been nice to eat on the spot.
Such a relaxing afternoon! We loved our experience visiting the lavander fields. It's free to visit and the boutique has good prices for great products! We loved that there were different varieties of lavander that were still in bloom. We also bought our lunch at the food truck that was on site and ate in the fields. Beautiful!
Beautiful fields and you can picnic there.
Love the boutique experience, and great tour !
Beautiful lavand farm
Beautiful lavender field! The staff is really friendly and it's fun to be able to walk around in the field freely. They have chairs placed in multiple spots which makes it easy to sit down and relax while looking at the lavender. If you like lavender scented products, you'll be able to buy some in their boutique. I will definitely go back!!
(Translated) A little disappointed during our visit (early July) the lavender was colorful but the park seemed to be under construction. We ended up making little use of the place. Do it once in my opinion, not a must-do address for others to discover.
Beautiful place.. Got a lot of information about Lavender..
Informative video explaining, tgen shown how tk "pet"the llant to not harm 8t.
The new farm has very limited lavender in bloom. Most plants were plant in 2021 spring. If you expect to see endless flowers, you will definitely be disappointed. It is totally waste of money. To be honest, if it is not because of the 30CAD, I could finish my visit with my family within 10 mins.
Its not season when we went there but we really enjoy the tour you guys must try the lavander chocolate ????????
This is an exquisite stop to add to your memories. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and a good sense of social distancing. Well behaved dogs on leashes welcome. Boutique a bit too pricey but specialty items
Beautiful place to explore the Lavender fields or have a picnic
Great place for a relaxing weekend day. Excellent natural products for personal care.
Really great spot for a walk. The air is heavy with lavender sweetness and it's pretty peaceful. The lavender iced tea was lovely.
(Translated) New location, much bigger. Nice shop! (Original) Nouvel emplacement, beaucoup plus grand. Belle boutique!
I love how spacious this place is and so many fun facts about lavender. I loved that they actually teach you about it . I understand they are pretty new and that’s why there’s not much purple around . I believe this place has lots of potential in the future, their boutique was spacious and great variety of things to choose from . Staff was friendly and just very relaxing . I went during the week around 11am , great time not too full very calm.
nice place
Beautiful place for picnic, picture, relax and buy product. Also, friendly staff!
Great experience! The museum was fun and well-organized. We loved our guided tour and walk around the farm. Fabulous range of products in the boutique.
Super
Great place!
He have been wanting to visit this place since last year. Last minute departure was worth it. The scenery as well the scent of the lavender is worth the trip. Covid-19 protocol could have been a little better but better than most places I've visit. Physical distancing was observed by most. Parking was good. Certain staff in the parking did not have masks or face shields some were not practicing physical distancing without the protective gear. Overall we plan on visiting in the fall.
Beautiful!
(Translated) Magnificent . It is truly breathtaking to smell the aroma of lavender. It is a jewel in the Eastern Cantos. Except that we made a long drive. We paid full fare, even though the crop was in less than 10 percent. Unfortunately I imagine what could be if I would have seen lavender crops. but no I did not see that. No part in his website. Neither Facebook warned that we will not see lavanda (Original) Magnifique .
It's a farm and a boutique. You can get a self guided tour for $5 per adult, to see the farm behind the shop and a small exhibition of sorts on lavender making, etc. The interactive light and sound show was cool. Items in the boutique however are really expensive.
I really loved this place
Beautiful place
Beautiful landscapes
An absolutely beautiful place to stroll around and soak in the scenery. The tour is brief and repeats what's mentioned in the introductory video, but our tour guide was delightful. The products in the boutique are very high quality. Don't forget to go to the garden where you can also get a massage.
It was a little too early in the season to see the flowers. It's better to visit after mid July.
Perfect experience!
Place wasn't crowded, very pleasing to have picnic at.
(Translated) Happy to have visited the place before their move to Magog. We were a little late in the season to take wonderful photos of the lilac-colored fields. The flowers had started to dry (early August). They make good products. It smells of happiness ????????????
15$ is a bit expensive for a small tour (15 minutes). 8$ per adult would have been a fair price for what they offer. It's a disappointment to know that their products is made from imported lavender. You can touch and see 3 kind of lavender. Staff is nice !
Beautiful place
Very peaceful and beautiful place. Admission is reasonable.
It’s a nice place hang out with friends!
This place has beautiful crops of this plant. And is amazing all the products that they make with it. People were very kind
Beautiful fields and interesting products. Worth visiting. Learning a bit about lavender was pleasant.
Amasing !
(Translated) Magical place. We visited as a family on July 23. Nice welcome. It's a bit far from Montreal, just to see the fields (even if beautiful), so take the time to discover several attractions nearby. Moreover, they are announcing a move of the entire site to Magog, for the spring of 2021. (Original) Endroit magique. Nous avons visité en famille le 23 juillet. Bel accueil.
A bit far, but nice place to visit. Walk on lavender fields, take pictures, have a picnic, and shop at their boutique. PS: arrive early is best
(Translated) Entrance fee too expensive for what it is! Really .... $ 15 per person to see a field of new plantings with no flowering! It's like paying a ticket to go to a store. First time for me and one last too!
(Translated) Superb restful and very relaxing place. Visit explained by people passionate about their profession. Nice food on site, possible to have a massage and a nice shop full of lavender products of course. You can take your dog and that's really cool.
Nice place to take fresh air and nice walk
Beautiful place!
15$ for a visit is kinda expensive.
Now it isn't a good time for a visit though.
They change every thing... and now it's just boring and so small...
Nice and fresh place. Love Blue Lavender!
(Translated) Great places for a family picnic and a moment of relaxation. The path to get there is very pretty. Vraiment top
Beautiful place to visit
The Bleu Lavande will take your breath away. There are hundreds of lavender flowers neatly taken care of. It is so relaxing, it is extremely soothing to the soul. Just walking around the estate will bring an immense feeling of peace and tranquility to you.
A very unique find. Terribly overpriced for what you get.
(Translated) Renowned for its Lavender. Very touristic. (Original) Réputé pour sa Lavande. Très touristique.
It's a nice place to visit, the field looks amazing, they placed benches and lookout points in the perfect areas so you can take nice pictures and sit down. There isn't much to do, but it's a nice experience. Food are a bit expensive, but the lavender flavor ice cream is worth a try, it taste weirdly good. The soda cans cost 2,50$+ , but that's for your information. 10/10 would recommend
Nice place, but products are expensives
Very dispointing that it is but a show place... they don't use what they grow in there fields. The fields are there but for show.
It's good for taking a pictures....not worth the ticket price
(Translated) Of course, due to the recent move, the plants are not stunning like in the photos ... But the rest was great. I was really disappointed with the space made by Moment Factory ... 2 min and we went out. Simple screens that project images that follow us and make sounds ... I expected much more amazing.
Beautiful place to visit and have a nice picnic
Great location and loads of great products. Only visited the boutique.Never visited the old one in George ville
The venue was beautiful and the couples massage was fantastic. If you’re a fan of lavender, the store is well stocked with something for everyone. Well worth the drive from Montreal.
Informative and interesting
(Translated) Here I am giving my opinion on the site as a tourist attraction, not on the quality of the products that I like a lot (especially the essential oil of fine lavender, lip balm and lavender honey). Disappointing site, far from the image I had of a little piece of lavender in Quebec reminiscent of Provence. Very short visit, and the only really nice place to rest is a relaxation area accessible only if you buy an extra massage. After 25 minutes, we had made the tour, guided tour and filling of small sachets of lavender included. A disappointment for both me and my husband. I recommend the products, but not the site visit.
I didn't go in full bloom, but it was still pretty cool. I think it was more expensive then it should be to get in, but the tours and statues/paintings were cool.
Beautiful place, but go when the lavenders bloom or it's just a bunch of bushes
It has inspired me to try to use lavender more.
Nice place to visit. Love the products. You can take a picnic blanket. It is free to enter the field. There is a playground for kiddos. All personal is super friendly. Covid-19 safe.
Overall, we had good experience. Each adult paid $15 for the entree, and the people worked there were very nice. Maybe we came too early , there was only one filed was blooming. Will visit in July or August.
(Translated) A super nice and relaxing place. 100000% recommended. (Original) Un lugar super bonito y relajante. 100000% recomendado.
Very nice place. People are kind there.
Pricey but entry was free. All the employees were very kind and welcoming
New location is pretty much empty. Previous location was way better. Won't be recommending to friends and family
Nice one
It's pretty but that's about it. Is a nice quick view. Beware take your own lunch since the one they sell there is really expensive.
(Translated) I went to visit Bleu Lavande on August 8th. Unfortunately, the visit did not live up to my expectations. Although I visited all of the facilities, I was mainly disappointed with the entrance fee of $ 15 + tx which I think is a bit pricey for what there is to see. I understand that this is a new location, that the plants are not yet mature, etc. I would have been comfortable paying this price for a more complete experience, but since the plants are not fully mature and the museum visit is done very quickly, an entry cost of $ 7 would have been more appropriate . At least until everything is ready. In addition, the relaxation areas would benefit from being better equipped. At the moment, the picnic tables, chairs and gazebos seem to have been arranged rather haphazardly. Too bad, because your product line is interesting and this allows us to encourage a local business. Hoping for my constructive comments in the goal that you can offer an enhanced experience to your customers (and up to the entry costs! ;-) )
(Translated) It’s a great family walk. In addition to the lavender fields, there are also small interactive activities in the fields such as golf, and a lawn “bench” where you can have your head in the lavender. The guided tour was great fun too, the guide was very lively. The store offers a huge amount of products, very original, but at luxury prices of course. The service was very attentive. Thanks to the lavender blue team!
it's a shame they charge people for nothing, absolutely nothing! it seems they changed their location or the farm or whatever it is!! and you can only see few scattered lavenders' bushes , and they're anything than blue. Please save your time and money and choose another farm . the one star is only option otherwise for sure I'd go with no star!!!!
(Translated) Very nice site! The paid tour is worth the cost. (Original) Très beau site! La visite payante vaut le coût.
Absolutely HEAVEN for someone who loves Lavande!????????????
(Translated) We were well received and the very friendly guide provided interesting explanations. However, the site is new and few flowers were in bloom. We found the entrance fee to be exaggerated. The guided tour was short and the little lavender sachet preparation activity is not worth $ 15 per person. It would have been possible to offer visitors a refreshment or a small product, for example, or simply charge less.
This was a very interesting ship of all things lavender. We bought a shatchet for a dresser, a coffee mug and some lavender oil.
Beautiful experience ???? next time we will go earlier. August seems a little late some spot not so purple.
Loved it! Such a gorgeous setting and great shop!
Beautiful place but the flowers were not purple enough as are seen on some internet pictures. Maybe was not the right weekend
It's very much superb
Too expensive....the guide needs some basic training
(Translated) I loved my visit and this wonderful discovery! Beautiful area ! We smell of lavender! Impeccable service! I recommend ! The products are wonderful ☺️ (Original) J’ai adoré ma visite et cette belle découverte ! Très bel endroit ! On sent la lavande ! Service impeccable! Je recommande ! Les produits sont merveilleux ☺️
It was a beautiful drive out from Granby QC, and not to far from Magic so plenty of choice for coffee or a meal. The place is very well organized and the staff we met spoke English and French. The lavender fields are beautiful and so fragrant and it's so relaxing. The gift shop has a nice selection of items and prices are reasonable. Good COVID practices were in place. Just wish the tea shop had been open. I would go again and take more time to relax amongst the lavender. A great place to recharge your batteries.
(Translated) Well laid out, beautiful products, too expensive ($ 15) because a visit consists of walking between rows of plants (15 minutes is enough) (Original) Bien aménagé, beaux produits, trop chère($15) car une visite consiste à se promener entre des rangs de plants (15 minutes suffisent)
One of the biggest and most beautiful I've seen in Quebec. A really nice place with open space for social distancing and best of all, free entrance. Bring your cameras for really awesome Instagram pictures. Just come on a sunny day with white fluffy clouds and don't your picnic food.
Had my mother-in-law with us & she doesn't understand french, which was not a problem here. The tour video has english subtitles, the guide was bilingual & all the information on signs was in both languages. The grounds are beautiful and very clean. All the staff was courteous.
(Translated) Wonderful place ! Great for a photo shoot but it was really crowded. The products are really good and it's great to support a local business! (Original) Magnifique endroit !
Super relaxant!!
(Translated) Glad to have been there. Courteous staff, small but interesting interactive room, fun lavender quiz / game, then a field to go for a walk. The latter was correct but nothing more, we quickly realize that this is not the place of production and that it is only for the tourist attraction. Relatively young, there are no large fields of lavender to see or wow to photograph. We end the visit with the shop where lavender is available in so many products that I wondered if they were using their own production. The answer is no, the employees answered me, they import lavender from France. Then, only the soaps are made on the spot. I still like their products, but we left the place on a small note of a commercial place rather than a lavender cult place. $ 15 entry per adult. A bit pricey for what there is to see. Around $ 5 would have been fairer. Dogs allowed on a lead outside the building. ☀️
Nice place.Nice boutique with all kind of Lavender products such as soap, bath boom, oil, cream etc
The Lavender field as it nice and good place to visit. Must visit in july to august and very crowded. Buy lavender stuff for 35$ and you get 2 tickets free was good deal we missed out Otherwise the stuff are really expensive. The guided tour will give you info which is not extravagant but still informative. The vanilla icecream with lavender flavour it worth a try... but its just some sugar with violet colour and lavender flowers..
(Translated) The guide was very interesting and we can see that he knows a lot about it. He gave us a lot of information about the business as well as the lavender. Lavender was moved in 2020/2021 from Fitch Bay to Magog, so the site is not all in bloom yet since there are new plantings. Personally, I found the $ 15 to be a bit expensive for site access, but I still enjoyed it. I bought 2 products that I tried and that I really like, namely hair conditioner (it makes the hair very soft) and massage oil (penetrates well into the skin and does not leave a finish. too oily).
Would you go to a strawberry farm when there are no strawberries so why would you go to lavender fields when there are hardly any lavender. This place should be open only when lavender is in full bloom i.e. July / August or they should reduce the entry fee for all other times. $15 per person is ridiculous. Even if you consider this as a picnic to a farm there are no enough sheds there and you will be burning in summer heat.
So beautiful and peaceful???? The fields, the shop and the staff were all so lovely???? I will definitely be going back next summer!
The best
Quite clean and besutiful
Relax and go to Blue Lavande!
(Translated) Interesting guided tour, very nice place to picnic and relax! ???? We can take our pets for a walk! ????
The outdoor is phenominal - outdoor fields are kept very clean and organised - very relaxing to sit by the lavander plants and smell their fragrance -- visiting the boutique is a must!
(Translated) New place which is better located near Avril. For me, the entry price is a bit expensive 15.00 dollars. On the site you can relax, chairs with umbrellas tables to eat.
I was there with a group of 15 people, for a family meeting. I booked us the Bleu Royal package which includes a lunch box(vegeterian option possible), the site entrance (lavender field guided tour) and a little gift for 25$ per person. The booking: it was fine, they gave us the group discount event though we were 5 persons short. It was just confusing that I had to confirm a bunch of times with the lady; she wanted to make sure we would be there. Also, we didnt have to pay for young kids (<2yrs), but no food was prepared for them when we got there. Good thing that the manager easily found a solution for us. The lunch box : Food was very good. I was a bit disapointed that we couldnt eat in the field since the food was served on a tray and not like in a bag/basket. The lavender field tour: I was disapointed that we didnt have a guide only for our group. We were a lot of people for only one guide (>30) and he had to do it both in french and english, so it was a bit long for nothing. They explained us from A to Z how to grow lavender and get the oil. We didnt really go into the fields, so plan time for that. This place is very touristy and lack a bit of organisation in my opinion. I would go back just for a stroll in the field, eat/relax, do yoga, but would never do any of the touristic activity again.
Bleu Lavande is definitely worth a visit. The air is filled with the scent of hundreds of lavender plants, while friendly staff offer an informative tour. Offerings range from picnic lunches and space for children to play, to meditation areas and open air massage. Lovely place to spend an hour or two.
I understand it is a new place and just completed the construction. But what really disappointed me is I paid 15CAD plus tax but most of lavenders have not blossomed yet and they are just baby, I suppose we need to wait several years to see fully blossomed lavender flowers. I suggest the shopper should reduce the price and give tourist a gif as a souvenir
(Translated) What a beautiful place to discover !! We learn a lot about lavender, its transformation and its uses. Great place for a picnic or just relax. Mr. Riopel you were excellent in your guided tour! The shop and the soap factory are also to be discovered. See you next July to see all these beautiful flowering plants !! (Original) Quel bel endroit a découvrir!!
Beautiful
Calming place to be...bring your lunch have a picnic in among the lavender
Incredible place :) we loved it and would go back again, hundreds of useful products at good prices :) lovely shop and country site. Must see ! Tried other lavander products however the best ones are from Bleu Lavande :) we order online as we live far :) thank you
Very friendly. Beautiful view. Great place to spend time with kids.
Nice place to visit with good natural products
It was good. Fun. Enjoyable. Not too big and gift shop is pricey.
Love love this place. I have been taking some friend's and they have really enjoyed their visit also. The staff are all excellent, helpful, pleasant and enjoyable. A real nice place for gifts.
(Translated) I love your products! I ordered the linen water and I am very disappointed with the vaporizer which is very bad. The water is sprayed in a large jet rather than a light mist which would allow for better use. Too bad to produce such good products with such a "cheap" tool. In addition, I bought the one liter container in addition to the 500 ml format. (Original) J’adore vos produits !
I spent a beautiful morning here with family last year. We had brunch outdoors and it was a truly wonderful experience. The food is good, the scenery is jaw-dropping (fields and fields and fields of lavender) and the site itself is very well-maintained. Didn't have a chance to get one of their massages with the view of the fields, but that's just an excuse to go back again. Their little lavender boutique smells heavenly and is a great place to stop for some lavender-scented gifts or everyday items. I look forward to going back again soon.
Beautiful! ????????????
Must to visit when in Toronto
The new boutique is beautiful! Products are amazing and the staff is very friendly
Very nice place
Good stop, Magog is such a beautiful place that offers a lot and this is one of them
Entrance fee is $10 each, included a guided tour. Maybe of the weather, flowers not blooming at its peak.
Free admission this year so do expect a lot of people coming to enjoy the lavenders. The staff was very helpful in helping direct the cars to know where to park, to ensure proper Covid precautions are taken (hand sanitizer before going in, sink where you can wash your hands after using the public restrooms, etc). The lavenders are still enjoyable as of end of July and there is enough place for you to picnic or just enjoy the weather. The products available at the store are quite expensive though.
(Translated) I am generally disappointed with my visit, because of the products. The tour of the fields is great, and I was well received, but the shop is very disappointing, because they sell products there in the shelves of small artisanal sculptures, but which are made in China and cost more than $ 80 for no reason. . Lavender is good, however. Don't get confused by the vendors, who will show discounts as soon as you arrive and encourage you to spend. Anyway, I'm curious about their marketing and sales selection techniques with industrial suppliers hidden in handcrafted products. Disappointed, but intrigued by the fields.
We didn't do the field tour cause it was cold and rainy. The store was expensive... Very expensive. The service was good.
Very serine place and good for day picnic and see the nature (Lavender Fields)
Only nice
The fields are fully bloomed right now, so it is really spectacular!! Friendly staff too, so really worth visiting!
(Translated) Superb place! A little disappointed with the ice cream, we had taken a lavender flavor and it ended up being a ti cup of vanilla coaticook ice cream served with a sachet of lavender flavored sugar. We thought it was going to be a twisted ice cream haha! Otherwise nice place, 5 stars for the atmosphere. (Original) Superbe endroit !
(Translated) Very beautiful and such a beautiful large field with its good scent free entry ideal for a picnic (Original) Très beau et tellement un beau grand champs avec son bon parfum entrée gratuite idéal pour un pic-nic
Weather did not allow for visiting the fields. Russian sage could be seen from inside the boutique.
(Translated) Very well! Guided tour, indoor and outdoor workshops, boutique of Quebec products, friendly staff ...
Very beautiful place!
Open wide purple colour on a green blanket. Its so beautiful words cant describe. Nature at its best
(Translated) I went there on July 6, 2020, following two heat waves which accelerated flowering everywhere. Normally, we recommend going there around July 20. From Montreal, the walk lasts about 2 hours, via Highway 10 and then, via a winding and hilly road. A very pleasant course if you have the intelligence to take your time. The Bleu Lavande site is located more exactly in Fitch Bay, some 10 km from Stanstead. Visiting the lavender fields is normally paid ($ 10) but, in this COVID-19 summer, it is free. Personally, I took advantage of this "saving" to spend more in the store. By the way, in the future it would be a good idea to charge for the field visit BUT being able to apply the cost of this visit as a credit to the store if a visitor purchases for at least $ 50. Thus, this company will avoid profiteers who go there only for the fields, without buying anything, while allowing lovers of lavender products to “stock up” at a lower cost. Personally, I bought it for $ 105 at the store. The lavender fields are sloping and well landscaped. It is a small corner of Provence. There are also some buildings used for processing lavender and displaying very informative explanatory brochures. By paying attention, we also discover a pretty little landscaped garden. The store is spacious and has many products. The choice of soaps, combined with other scents (patchouli, eucalyptus, etc.), is very interesting. The staff are pleasant and helpful. On weekends, there are food cars for the hungry. All in all, a very pleasant day for those who know how to choose the date of their visit (no need to go there after the harvest ....) and sunny weather.
Will go againnext year...it will be even better with higher flowers...this year was their 1st year in Magog.
Really liked it. Good vibe. Enjoyed the story boards. And chairs to sit in and look at the fields.
It was nice.
Nice visiting place for a weekend day
So beautiful - and very well managed with very strict Covid limitations. Loved it and will go back!!!
I love this place. The plants are dormant now being mid December but the boutique is simply gorgeous! I found so many Christmas gifts! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a must see in my books. I recommend this boutique to all my friends. It smells soooo good!
(Translated) Site with interesting potential, but still under construction, a perfect welcome from the outside guide, however inside no accompaniments or explanations, just empty rooms ... a big disappointment compared to our visit to standstead two years ago. We understand that the plants are freshly planted but I find the asking price of $ 15 far too high for what is currently offered.
(Translated) Great disappointment for me and my wife. The products are beautiful, on the other hand $ 15 to see a field with 80% of the plans that have just been planted, so still far from flowering, it is really much too expensive and smacks of opportunism. Obviously it will be beautiful once all these plants are in bloom so in a few years while waiting at this price I recommend that you skip your turn and only visit the shop.
It's very nice place
It was not how what we expected
(Translated) Beautiful, peaceful place, great products, the smell of lavender envelops you from the moment you enter, the staff are welcoming and courteous. We had explanations on the different types of lavender, on the history of these. I would have liked to participate in workshops showing us how to make soaps or other homemade products. But the "soap factory" was closed. Also, a workshop where we could learn different ways of incorporating lavender into cooking would be greatly appreciated. We found the $ 15 charged at entry to be excessive. I believe if your price would be lower, customers would probably buy more products. Because you have a wonderful store, with a very wide variety of lavender products. For the rest, I will continue to purchase your products online, rather than going there. Here is! I hope this supplement added to my initial comment will give you a better understanding of my opinion.
Very touristy and frou-frou. If you adore lavender then fine, but otherwise don't waste your time
Amazing views. Great helpful staff. Amazing products sold here as well. Great for the family. Plenty of room for the little ones to run around and tire themselves out. I would recommend the bath salts. They are amazing and not bad of a price
Beautiful place for the lavande.
Lovely place , close to Montréal.
Beautiful fields of purple flowers
Such a relaxing experience. It is simply enchanting. ❤
Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful..you can even bring your dog
Relaxing beautiful views!
Beautiful location
Very wonderful experience for lavender lovers
Loved it, they just relocated to a new place, beautiful place, there's a room that when you walk in and move, you make the wall become alive with a lavender feild, you can make your small sachet of lavender, friendly staffs, outside you can buy lavender, scones, brownies, energie bars, very relaxing, loved their boutique, wanted to buy everything lol and you can also buy the lavender plants, outside you can have a tour of how to take care of the lavender plant, very interesting. To enter there is a small fee of 15$ if i remember well but worth it ???? ????
The place is more a commercial for their products. The tour guide was really nice but there isn't much of a tour. We visited early July so the lavender was minimal. It's an ok place but it's ok to skip it
The products are okay and you can find them anywhere but what we totally dislike is that there was so many people in the boutique. I am not saying they were going against the laws of covid....not sure.... but we did not feel comfortable as there was wall-to-wall people. Yes everyone had their masks, and we did disinfect our hands when we came in. And they were asking that we not touch all the products but obviously with so many people there everybody was handling everything. People people were coming in by bus loads.
Perfect !!!!
Super nice fantastic place in the nature!
Beautiful place to take pics and enjoy with friends or family. It's really in good conditions
(Translated) Visit at the end of July 2021. We bought our tickets on the website but we still had to wait in the same line as the people who bought the tickets on the spot to enter the site. Once you enter, the site is vast so you don't have to step on your toes and you can admire it while walking quietly. The landscape is very beautiful but the place is new (Bleu Lavande has moved from another site to this new site) so there are a lot of plantations dating from 2021 which are not in bloom (hence the 4 stars) . So we saw some lavender blooming at the start of our visit only. However, the site is very well maintained, clean, and magnificent with its small lake, small bridge, hill, discovery games, etc. When all the lavender plants are in bloom in a future year, the site will be even more beautiful. Possibility of outdoor picnic with lots of tables and umbrellas available. The store is superb with a lot of products available - soaps, chocolates, nougat, bouquets of lavender, etc. Take the opportunity to look at the lighting in the store - great idea !!! Activity to do - adult or family! (Original) Visite fin juillet 2021.
We went a little too late for lavender season but it was fun to go for the trip!
(Translated) Small discovery in Magog. A site well suited to tourists. A little corner for the little ones, dogs are accepted in the fields (1 km of trails) a soothing smell during the visit. Small, pleasant and informative guided tour. Several places to eat, relax and learn about the plant and its by-products. A hook is needed.
Nice place!!!to see those lavender
Keep in mind that there is no lavender ice cream due to the pandemic. ????
Beautiful place to have a lunch and walk around
Beautiful place for pictures but not as big as I expected
Much smaller than it looks in the picture...However it’s still worth visiting since it’s free.
Very interesting and worth a visit! Wonderful boutique with products made from lavender produced on site.
(Translated) A wonderful family day in a beautiful laundromat! On-site activities such as the guided tour and basketry we did at that time made this day very special. Having visited mid-July, we felt the air laden with lavender especially at sunset! Magical! Not to mention the beautiful shop! Budget to predict! All their products are superb! A must if you go to their area!
(Translated) We have adored !! We arrived at the opening lucky because when we went out it was very crowded !! But the place is beautiful !!
Amazing view and a nice place to relax. Stunning views while driving from Montreal
Interesting guided tour, beautiful fields of lavender, nice large gift shop with many products.
Cool
Terrible customer service. Not professional at all.
Love it!! If you want a peaceful day this is te option. The only thing that could be change are the bathrooms
