It has to be open 24/7 for all students, not just Concordia's. Because it's a public library.

Andrew O'Malley

I come here frequently to study as I can reliable find a seat and the internet access is strong. I also have not experienced any noise related problems while in the larger study rooms.

Level 10 Guide

From age-friendly cities to smart cities to sustainable cities, how we live together in urban spaces is on the public agenda in Montreal and around the world. But who are the citizens we imagine and imply by these terms? How can we work together to make the city a better and more inclusive place to grow old? B/OLD examines the experiences of aging in Montreal from a multidisciplinary, multisectoral and intergenerational perspective. We open the university’s doors widely to community activists, students, policymakers, the media and, most importantly, older adults themselves, inviting all participants to “be bold” and to embrace “old.” On May 16 and 17, B/OLD will present a number of exciting panels and keynotes at the De Sève Cinema. We have invited speakers from the city, the media, local community organizations and universities to discuss diverse topics that matter to older adults. What is an age-friendly city and how do we implement it in Montreal? What concerns do older adults have about housing, and how can we devise innovative solutions? How do older adults use digital technologies to explore their city? Our panelists and keynote speakers are ready to answer these and many more questions.

(Translated) I came here because of the check-in time after traveling, but the general public can use it for free, it is clean, and there are many seats. It is a library with all the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors open. Thanks to this, I was able to relax and go back! Internet access is not possible. / I came here on a trip because of check-in time, and it's free for the public, clean, and full of seats. The second, third and fourth floors are all open libraries. Your best friend during midterms and finals. I've lost count how many hours I spent in this library studying with my friends. We would spend entire days here, from 7am to 7pm sometimes. We would get the nice booths on the 4th/5th floor and just stay there all day. We would bring blankets, coffee, snacks, etc... It's the best way to get a good spot at the library. Otherwise, if you want to reserve a private room, set up a recurring reservation every week, the rooms are usually free later on at night if you want to make sure you always get the same one. Those are also great but you can only keep them for 3 hours. Another thing I love to do is get your required textbook from the reserve section and then go up to the 4th floor and scan all the chapters you will need for the semester, free pdf of the textbook.

The Benefits of being in this Library is that it is close to the Metro Station. They also have a lot of good study rooms. Accessible features for all and have a great places to study. The library is clean and modern. Some Computers are down since they are not made to last that long. They should update and change that immediately. Also, I think they should let students who have friends or visitors not to study in the quiet area. Some students bring their friends into the quiet no talking study area and it bothers me because they talk and whisper and it distracts me. If they want they should study outside of that area or study at their residence. It is simpler and much better. All in All love the library it is the best library in the University system in my opinion. Hope to see changes and improvements in service, the building facility and changes to the future of the building environmentally and sustainbality.

One of the best places to study, learn or read. The facilities are the best and it's always a pleasant place. The vibes are the best @ Concordia library. It's a go-to place for any student in Montreal.

Alexandre Debargis

Beautiful renovated library, but very crowded during finals and midterms. Anyone can come here as it is. Or exclusive to Concordia's students

vikas mahey

One of best place to study ... very friendly staff .. everything iss goooood

Sam P

Beautiful library but has to be the noisiest library I've ever gone to with a severe lack of silence enforcement by library employees. Library users have no common sense, speak loudly on their phones wherever, and have no respect for fellow users looking to study in peace.

The place itself is incredibly cozy and well designed. The only negative point is that you cannot find a quiet place to study because of students who talk loudly every where except the silent rooms. The security never goes around to notice them.

This library is great, opening 24h a day and it's available for everyone not only students of Concordia. I'm a McGill student and I spent most of my self-studying time here as it opens 24h and near my home.

Yoann Lussier

Great space where books and bookworms are in a modern and spacious areas to allow the mind to be instilled by words of wisdom. Dedicated rooms for studying and assay writing as well as for conferences.

they dont have the book I need but its at the other concordia library this place is hell every book should be put online to be available for students to use. i gave this 1 star because the renovations have really up'd its game.

Great. But the LED lights in the ceiling are the worst. I like to use the computers and spend many hours doing homework there. The light is way too sharp and strong, I feel I need to wear sunglasses.
