Really great place for every one, Excellent customer service.
One of my favourite libraries in London. There's a great collection of books, and they often have interesting events happening at the library. There's also a Maker Lab, where they have sewing classes, 3D-printing, and other fun stuff. The second floor is an especially nice place to hang out; it's quieter than the main floor, there are huge windows along the north wall providing lots of light, plenty of tables and chairs where you can study or just read, and the bigger tables by the window have community jigsaw puzzles that anyone is welcome to play with.
It's the library, 'nuff said.
Accessible and they are hoping to implement more changes in the future for more accessibility
Free parking, 3 floors of books, dvds, cds
Excellent place to research family history. Great staff and resources.
the best library in London.
The library is lovely. The computer system needs to be scrapped. Stop flogging an ancient horse and move into this decade. The hold system has tanked since covid. Books showing on shelf in another branch don't move for weeks. Non-existent responses to dm's.
Surprised by the comment about parking. The library offers 2 hours of free parking in the underground (3 level) parking onsite. Just take the ticket and validate it at the library.
Love it!
Great library with lots of space and Mac :)
I wish my towns library was like this. Great working space, friendly and helpful staff. Great location too
A quiet and comfortable place to work. Good Internet connection.
An excellent library with a great staff
I have no idea why working taxpayers that are busy during the WEEKDAYS fund a library that is pretty much closed on weekends.
Nice to see others dress up today
Very thankful for the inexpensive and easy to use self serve printing stations
Central branch in the London Middlesex network of public libraries. Well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Friendly and professional staff always. Hub for many of the various public social, artistic and intellectual gatherings and occurrences in the city. Well worth a visit.
Inspiring public space, lot of resources, friendly staff.
Great library
Nice place to relax and read find everything you need when looking something up.
Beautiful space. Large collection, lots of room to read, work, play. Friendly helpful staff. Exactly what a central library should be. Especially loved the "Reading Garden" outdoor space! ????
Friendly staff, quiet work areas, publicly bookable quiet rooms. Lots and lots of free resources. Unfortunately, based on the location or whatever, you occasionally get oddball people wandering around and doing strange things, like sleeping at tables or having loud arguments.
good place to use free wifi and communicate with THE WORLD !
first time i went to this library my bike was stolen
Real good books at da libary
Awesome! Canada is so lucky to have so many libraries available for the public. Love it especially the Central Branch. Actually, all of the libraries in London are amazing. Very organized and so clean!
The best opportunity for bibliophiles❤️
Amazing facility! A dizzying abundance of books, magazines, CD/DVD media. Free access to a large number of well maintained computers in their PC and Mac labs. Free unlimited, high speed WiFi connection! Reasonably priced black and white or full colour 2D AND even 3D Printing stations!! A wide variety of interesting programs and activities. For all ages. Plus, now offering free public access to state of the art S.A.D light therapy stations! All this and more available freely to the general public in a very clean, comfortable and modern styled surrounding that is run by a friendly and knowledgeable staff.... This library has it all!! On the downside, this location has recently become somewhat of a daytime shelter for the homeless and addicts, which should be considered a positive thing for the community in general, but a few bad apples can bring a general 'back alley ambience' to the place at times. This issue says more about the sad state of our society and government than it does for the Library though. The security and staff seem to do the best they can to accommodate everyone equally and fairly and are quick to respond appropriately to anyone who might exhibit any disrespectful, abusive or illegal behaviour. This Library is of inestimable value to all those who seek knowledge, productivity, entertainment, community and culture... As well as to those who simply seek a safe, quiet relaxing space to rest. A++ Well done London!
I was there earlier today and I kept getting looks from the staff, I was wearing my favorite colourful eye hoodie and jeans, and I wasn't loud or acting funny. so I kinda don't understand why they kept looking at me, I'm just a normal teenager trying to do my homework with my best friend. Wtfrik
Great place
Staff was pretty friendly. Great book selection. Quiet atmosphere, great for studying. Cleanness was amazing. Once you get to the higher views, a great view of London. Best library I've ever visited.
Great, as usual!
Around 6pm homeless people began flooding into the library. Groups of them went into the bathrooms together and made the place feel very unsafe. One man paced behind me while I was studying, which induced a panic attack and led me to contact security. I will not be going back.
For the staff that works here they're nice, yet they assume things without asking. Someone made a false complaint about me. Saying I did something yet how can I defend myself if not addressed professionally. So they send a security guard to kick my out. Of course I refuse to leave politely. Then they send in the storm troopers aka london police thinking I'm being a nusence. I refused to leave as I have done nothing. Rough handling me. He chocked me. All for what? What a joke.. Civil disobedience to law nope. Civil disobedience to law breakers the cops and library.
considering the conditions of the pandemic
The services were really satisfactory and the staffs very knowledgeable, usually provided a quite peaceful condition for studying. Certainly the best branch of all LPL. Last month the coffee bar at the ground floor has moved out without a replacement, which could be a bit of an inconvenience for some readers. The wireless connection used to be pretty stable while more recently it frequently dropped; also one can only connect to one device with one library card so prepare yourself if you'd like to work multi-media. Also notice that parking could be a pain if you don't wish to pay much.
The people where Verry friendly, in an not from Canada and I needed to use the wifi so the lady says to me that a no problem and that I can get a library card for free and a wifi code... So nice and sweet

Went here Today to inquire about a Service they offer. Was greeted by Security and told to proceed to check-in. Polite royalty greeted me to guide me to Check-In. Was given accurate answers and able to negotiate a cost for the service fee owed.
I haven't been there in over a year due to the cov19. But it looks big different. I almost went up to the second floor but I changed my mind to go home.
Nice quiet place but I certainly miss the coffee ☕ shop.
Such a great location since they moved. I really appreciate how supportive the staff have been and they must treat their employees well since I have seen keep their job for many years. I appreciate the variety of all of the services and the internet access and how clean the place is kept. I'm glad they took the escalators out.
Hard 2 talk 2 on phone.CNIB home delivery has my card #. Libby library did not accept the #.;Receptionist imply I need a new one. Do I? For 2nd floor CNIB home delivery(?)
Basically, not a good Customer services type, they usually get Angry if you phone them twice, beside they're not knowledgeable I don't recommend London, Ontario public Library to anyone
Best library in london
Great Library. L❤ve the location its my second home. Plus also like the library store downtown.????
Great space to study. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive. Staff are generally friendly, though there are a few curmudgeons. Definitely hit up the cafe on the main floor. Super friendly and great coffee. Edit: the cafe is no longer open.
Spend you time where it's warm and there's wifi
So lucky to have a library this big in our city. Massive selection of books and movies you can take out. the staff are helpful, and they hold a lot of awesome events and groups for all ages.
Lots of books. 10/10 would come again.
Just found a cockroach in the woman's bathroom.
a great library with all the books you could ever want on a wide range of topics. The staff is friendly and helpful and will help you find any book you need.If you have a library card you can use it qt all the london library locations and you can borrow up to 60 books at a time with it, if you dont have one yet i suggest you get one. if you're from outside london it might cost you a bit though. overall its a nice place to read books and be at peace oh and the garden is really nice
Amazing resource be it books, prints, journals, magazines, study rooms (currently closed) and computer stations (windows and mac). Amazing selection of books, novels, DVDs, CDs in print and online format. References like Canadian Red Book, Scotts Journal of Stamps, Engineering Building Codes, Law manuals...Can't imagine London without the Public Library
The Business District of Downtown London
One of my favourite places
Lots of info here and Access to the internet even if you do not have a library card, and very helpful staff that understand not everyone has a home address to use the internet to access what they need.
Spacious & quiet
Great facilities and service for readers.
Amazing
A great library!! lots of space to study. Ive never looked to take anything out so i cannot comment on that but it is a beautiful, quiet space to get work done
I thank everyone who works at London Central Bookstore, they are very kind and helpful people. the place is clean and the environment is very healthy to go to read, study and research consulting the thousands of books that are there ... thank you very much for all.
this is the best library in the city, they have a massive selection of books and movies you can take out. the staff are helpful, and they hold a lot of awesome events and groups for all ages.
LPL is offering various programs for the London community. Approximately every quarter you can find a magazine named 'Access' to check the programs. If you have a library card, you can validate your 2hrs' parking.
First time there using the facility because I'm working from home now and don't have a printer to print my T4. Each person I talked to was extremely pleasant and ready to help me. Great experience.
Great library overall. Spacious, fairly quiet during the day, has wifi/electric outlets. My only real complaint is the lack of dark areas. I wish public places took photosensitivity more seriously. As someone who is very sensitive to light, I find the lighting here to be far too bright and distracting. The tables with electrical outlets are mostly located near large windows, and even the few that aren't suffer from their fluorescent tube lighting system. The lights hang too low, are too bright, and have poor CRI. Please have some areas where every other light is off or get better quality dimmer LED lighting with higher CRI.
A huge variety of books to choose from, and I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. In the summer, there is a lovely outdoor garden. My favourite library in London, Ontario.
For the first time I got there I had to ask for a card allows me using and to borrow books and other things. It took less than a minute to get issued, nice staff and great service.
It is a great place. You can find any book you want and it is a relaxing place ☺☺
Great atmosphere for studying
9/10 EMPLOYEES ARE GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE SECURITY STAFF ARE GREAT AT WHAT THEY DO. THE ONLY MAJOR ISSUE I HAVE IS ALL THE TROUBLED AND DRUGGED UP PEOPLE COMING IN CAUSING PROBLEMS FOR EVERYONE. I DON'T CARE IF HOMELESS PEOPLE COME IN BUT EVERYONE IS EXPECTED TO ACT ACCORDINGLY. SHOW RESPECT FOR OTHERS USING THE LIBRARY. AND JUNKIES TO STOP DOING DRUGS IN THE BATHROOMS. THEY PUT OUR HEALTH AT RISK DOING THIS.
We are so lucky to have a great facility
I have always enjoyed going to Central Library. But a VERY BIG issue I have is that on more times then I can remember, I have gotten bitten by something on my legs.Something jumping off flooring. I have told them on many visits but it continues. Regarding staff members, I would give them a 5 out of 10. There are many nice staff but I seem to pick up snotty attitudes with a few.I need a comfy chair for my disabilities. A chair I need is close by so I bring it to table to work. I get shouted at.I'm then told its not their job to make us comfortable. Without us,you wouldn't have a job!! So better lose the attitude and make US COMFORTABLE!
Helpful staff. We are lucky to have this as a resource in London!
I would be careful about bring home books and staying for long periods of time. A client I care for brought home a book after getting home from the library excited to read, only to discover an adult bed bug in the pages! I'm not hating the library, I love books and reading. Just want to warn others to check your books and bags etc. before getting all cozy in bed to enjoy your book or movie :)
Very nice children's section.
Big library lots of books, programs, space and space to play. Great place
I just feel that l am in my living room furnished at home with all kinds of people in and out very satisfied helpers and good conduct the security does with a righteous men in duty!!! I am pleased with you!!!????⚖️????????????️???? I am happy to go all the time!!!
I always go there to read books and free WiFi. Never had a bad experience.
If you are looking for a quiet place to read, study or use a computer, here you can do it. they are all kind. Print one page is 10cents. If you lose your card it will cost you 2 $ new one.is possible see a FIFA match!!!!!!
Nice library
Very helpful and friendly staff, their are so awsome
Quiet excellent service at check out counter.
Good experience as long as you have your own headphones as the staff will ask you to wear them
As a fan of libraries in general, this is a great library that offers a wide variety of books on a significant amount of subject matters. They also offer a great number of services, including use of iMacs, use of study rooms and use of board games. The only negative would be the bathrooms as they're often in an unclean condition.
Great service - any book you can think of, and they validate parking.
Cool
good
A great selection of materials and very helpful, kind staff. We enjoy visiting and borrowing books.
Good read
Very nice location in the downtown core. A wide selection of books and friendly staff.

I cannot thank the library enough during this Covid pandemic. They have kept me with plenty to read, very helpful staff. THANK YOU ALL
I reached out for help finding a specific item. Mark responded to me immediately and had found what I was looking for within the day. The experience with Mark was professional, respectful, and tremendously pleasant.
(Translated) It's really refreshing to be in the downtown mall. The children's corner on the first floor was organized by thematic arrangement of books, and I liked the space for children to read freely and creatively. I was impressed by the fact that I had a small space for reading and reading.
Friendly staff, quite place for reading, almost find every book.
This place is one of the jewels of Downtown London. It's a beautiful place to read and unwind in the largest library in the city with the most operating hours throughout the week.
