First of all, the building is beautiful, the arrangement of the books is very well organized, the suggestions are always interesting. The child part is remarkable. We would very much like to thank the librarian with curly hair, she makes a big difference to other libraries in Montreal, in a calm and welcoming way she explains the rules related to Covid. Going to this library during the pandemic has done us so much good. A big thank you also to the young gentleman who warmly welcomes the children in the basement. D’abord le bâtiment est magnifique, la disposition des livres est très bien organisée, les suggestions sont toujours intéressantes. La partie enfant est remarquable. Nous voudrions très fortement remercier la bibliothécaire avec des cheveux bouclés, elle fait la grande différence avec les autres bibliothèques de Montréal, d’une manière calme et accueillante elle explique les règles liées au Covid. Aller dans cette bibliothèque pendant la pandémie nous a tellement fait du bien. Un grand merci aussi au jeune Monsieur qui accueil chaleureusement les enfants au sous sol.

This is the closest library to my house and I love it. They have quite a small selection but I can always order from other libraries and have it sent here and pick it up when I'm ready. The staff is always friendly to me and it's just a nice place to hang out. I wouldn't come to study here but that's just because I can study at home If I need to. The hours can be inconvenient during the week but I always manage to go on the weekends.

In terms of choice of books, and comfort, this is arguably not the best library in town, but this Mile End library must necessarily be seen, just for that vibe.
