There are a lot of great aspects to this library. The concept of a shared family/fitness centre makes a lot of sense, and the staff was fantastic and friendly. Overall, I prefer the main branch. Something about smelling chlorine in the same building as a library is uncomfortable... Wouldn't this put the books at risk?

Great space, with natural light in abundance! Friendly and knowledgeable staff will get the materials you are looking for or point you in the right direction. Kids love the (pre Covid19) play space and children's area. Popular kids books tend to have multiple copies which is clutch when siblings want to read the same thing but not share them. Overall I highly recommend making a point to visit and explore this branch!

I had to use the study rooms here for a month while transitioning between offices at work. The online booking process was very easy and the staff is extremely helpful. Really like this place for myself and the kids.

I couldn't say enough how happy, me and my kids, are with our John Harper library branch! My daughter and my son are so excited about their bundles of books prepared for them by the staff of the library! Special thanks to Andrea and Lesley who not only had chosen wonderful books but also included a personal notes to my kids!

Relaxing, lots of natural light, clean and comfortable. Good selection of books, magazines, newspapers, CD/DVDs, etc. Librarians are keen and eager to help. Self-serve book checkouts available. Mostly quiet environment.. can get loud due to the kids corner, but that can be a good thing. Inspiration for learning starts at an early age! Overall, a nice relaxing and moderately peaceful place for a good read alone and/or quiet team collabs in study rooms.

I have no issues getting books I want anytime. Anything I want to read is always available. There's also a convenient study section for students.

What is with the hours? Fri sat and Sunday are the times my kid has to finish projects and the library is closed. Somehow the city needs to fix this.

Great Library, Staff are very friendly, it has all the community activities like GYM, Swimming pool classes and Playgrounds, etc.. Free parking available, It has a quiet study zone where you can focus on your study

Love this location, the staff, the settings and everything. It's nice that it's attached to the YMCA as it lands a feeling of space and health to it all. The librarians here are super nice and helpful. Plenty of parking too.

Very noisy, parents don't quiet their children. Study area has quiet zone signs up but people don't read. Parents- please tell your children to quiet down while in the library!!!!
