I like to go here because it is the closest library to my place. However, I am having a problem with the noise. Sometimes there are a lot of people just talking to each other or answering phone calls that bother when I am studying. This is not a quiet library to go if you want to have a peaceful place to study.

Really nice place. Sleek open design when you first walk in. Clean, good selection of content. And the best part I found was if you're a resident of Winnipeg, you get a library card for free. More than fair! Just make sure you return your book on time to avoid a 40¢ charge/day. I'm glad there's still people going to a good old library & reading books the old school way. Not like nowadays, ebooks and all. Nothing really beats the feeling of going to a library instead of your phone to discuss and read literature. And pick up an actual book. Its just like when i used to go to blockbuster. Its the memories of these nostalgic places that's important. I hope libraries still stay around because technology is hindering us.

Really enjoy spending time here. Kids section was renovated and more activities for toddlers were placed. Also, library holds activities for kids as Mini Minecrafters.

I was having a bit of a bad day this morning and it got even worse when I tried to reserve some much needed books online but my library card had expired. I called the Henderson location and received the best help and the most kindness I've had in customer service in a very long time. I wish I would've asked her name, but hopefully this message gets to her. I want her to know that her enthusiastic personality and caring demeanor went above and beyond anything that I could've asked for. She truly turned my bad day into a good one. I can't say that's ever happened to me by a stranger before. And all it took was a touch of her kindness, she was my light on a dark day. So thank you to the wonderful librarian lady who genuinely made my day better. ❤ Even more touching about her was when my husband and I went in to pick up my books. She was on the phone talking to another location making sure that my other books were being held for me there! I only know this because I happened to hear her say my name! And when it came time for us to check out, her caring eyes and overall demeanor reminded my husband so much of his mom who had passed years ago that it brought tears to his eyes on our way home. We truly met an angel today. ❤ Thank you.

Your book sale prices make no sense. I was going to buy two books sans hardcover for what I thought would be .89 cents but the librarian tells me they'll be 3.00 each because they are catagorized. However she suggests I buy a bag for the same price. If I had filled a bag with 5 books, the price would be the same. It makes no sense.

Can’t tell if this place is a day care or a library, kids screaming at the top of their lungs and staff doesn’t do anything about it. I also just don’t understand why winter hours are shorter than summer.. people rely on the library as a quite place to study. School season runs theough out fall to beginning of summer. Not summer at all
