I loved Amplified coffee shop.

This is the library closeby, yet I go to the North Shore branch instead. Reason: There is no free parking here.

It is okay like other reviews point out it seems to be a hangout for some unsavoury characters using the computers for internet. The library in Vernon seems bigger and nicer. Kamloops is much more populated city than Vernon so that seems odd.

Gary Kostyrski

Dave Kehler

Quinn Mcmillan

Eric Williams

Organised layout and convenient workstations with power and lights.

Oliver Harrison

Great library and beautifully designed building adjoining the art gallery, brought down by poorly maintained and often outright filthy bathrooms.

If you're a tourist, it's a great place to chill out with AC. Read the newspaper or find a comic book.

Svetlana Popova

Great people work there who always ready to help finding books we are looking for. They will also mention what's new.

Amazing place. Before COVID the library offered a lot of different activities including a drop in acting session and chess competition. There is a wide range of books.

Parking is a bit pricey downtown. Seems like TNRD is pushing a self serve library system, personal assistance seems to be distant. The outlying community libraries are nicer to visit and have pretty much as good a selection.

Jack Allen

I think I just fell in love there.

I love the library! More with covid, it is so firm with its cleaning and face-mask procedures I am free to come study and still feel safe. The employees here are the absolute nicest people and are always happy to help. They have a really large book selection and I love it is right next to the art gallery.

Zach Carroll

Love the library it is great for doing research for school. I only wish it was open til 8 pm every weekday!

Bram Whillock

Nice library. Lots of strange characters mulling about. Worst Internet connectivity ever.

It is a great library but I find it strange that the open hours are not posted on the outside doors. Looked at the website and it said it was open on a Sunday afternoon, BUT when we arrived it was closed. Did send an email to the library asking why? But no answer received from them.

Mika Roni

Nice library. Friendly staff. Just wish that the drunks and druggies didn't come inside!

Unfortunately the wifi here is through Telus, which requires an email address and agreement to accept "promotional content" from Telus. Why, in a public space paid for by tax payers should I be required to provide my email to a private company?
