This is a great idea, and once you find the room where the library is hosted the experience is good. Going to a workshop here at night, though, a few of us could not find our way due to insufficient signage.

It is an amazing concept, any member can borrow up to 10 tools, and there are all the tools you can think of .

Nice to see we have a library for tools. My rating is based on that alone ! Not happy about them banning a customer for life; It was a great opportunity for them to teach a person about political correctness ! For the customer had no idea and became traumatized over the situation !☹️☹️☹️

I've been a member for several months now and so far I am really enjoying the experience. The variety of tools (and household items) is vast, one can browse what's available on the website, and sign in and sign out is easy. I appreciate the evening hours. All tools I've signed out thus far have been in good working order, including the rototiller! Thanks Guelph Tool Library.

Went for a workshop on urban vegetable gardens which was really great! There's so many tools and other things available to borrow which is amazing! As someone without that many projects that require specialized equipment I'm glad that I can get them from somewhere without worrying about buying then storing them. I still can't believe it's only $40 a year! Worth it even just for the few times a year I'll take full advantage of it.
