It is a small library that is much quieter than the big library at Yonge and Bloor. Only problem is there is only a small number of computer stations.

Shamim Ahmed

Good place to search and borrow books. Have a nice children section. Next to Toronto Reference Library.

Called and someone picked up said, "hi". I was about to hang up, but then said, "Toronto Public Library." Whatever I asked she asked her co-workers. And courtesy, ettiquettes in a Toronto Public Library!!! Feel destitute.

Alper Ozdemir

Great local library, convenient for pick up for books and DVDs that are hard to find

Dave Deco

great alternative to the reference library. Wifi is good and stable. Not too many workplaces though

Catriona Mackenzie-Bird

It's a very small branch but they have a really good selection of books to borrow. There are lots of computers to use and plenty of comfortable seating.

The Toronto public Library system is a great library system. my brother actually has worked for the library in one of my favorite branches and this is a beautiful historic Branch located in the heart of the city. this building like libraries deserve to be preserved and make sure to enjoy and always try to be quiet lol because even though you're encouraged to speak up and speak your mind just remember that they're always rules to life so enjoy a good education at your local public library and make sure to try to fund and donate your time and energy to learning. ????????❤️????????????????????????️

I like this smaller public library. The staff are helpful and friendly. At this time of covid-19 there is only allowed browsing and borrowing and reserved computer use.

Love this library for it quietness but I find the staff to be particular abd I say this base on a experiences I had. One that that top it all I went to borrow some books staff was friendly smiling and talking to client ahead. Client walked away I'm dtill in line no one behind me staff literally put her head down and start doing her own thing. Ok maybe she us finish in up,still no acknowledgement waiting waiting, waiting she stood there no hi no May I help you no nothing. Then I said to the staff "Are you gonna continue to ignore me?" Now my presence was acknowledged. Prejudice is REAL it's sad that a big city like Toronto still have people like that working in a public space. BUT that will never stop me from coming if I have to demand service we will be at the library. It free space for all no matter your location.
