Not the best place ever but it’s a nice little library. If you have a library card the computers can be very useful. If you don’t have a library card they have 15 minute express computers. They have a nice little kids section with picture books and such and have many kinds of book like cookbooks, drawing books, graphic novels, novels, comics, music books and lots of stuff for school projects or research. They also have a summer book club for kids to get into reading books and lots of event throughout the year like magic shows and movies. I think it’s a pretty great library but there are better ones out there.

I print here often.

Good place but it's a little small

A preposterous schedule. It should be open the same time every day it's open. The employees, except one, are fine though. And the quality of books is atrocious. Serious scholarship is impossible here. I guess I'll have to buy a yearly membership to the Robarts if they offer them to the public.

This is a smaller size library (not the smallest). It had just enough of each section. I arrived on a Tue 11:55am and was surprised to find out it opens at 12:30pm on Tue and Thu. I'm used to libraries opening the same time each Mon-Fri morning so boy was I surprised. I decided to go to Tim Hortons nearby to wait until 12:30pm because I came specifically for a non-reserve DVD. There is one (maybe two) self-serve checkout terminal. It has be upgraded to the newer type where you can login and do other things list see your checkouts/holds/etc and pay fines. The librarian was willing to walk with me to help me find something. There is a children's section and computer stations to use.

I do not recommend this library if you go here to study. It is very noisy. The staffs talked very loud even when they were in the staff room, i could hear everything from the outside. They were also shelving while i was there trying to study. It was very distracting. One of the ladies there, she kept slamming the books on the desk. This is so frustrating. I understand that this is a small library so it would be hard to have a quiet area, but this is way too noisy. The staffs are laughing, joking, talking. There is no separate kid's area so it's even worse. Anyway i would suggest going here to borrow books or print because the staffs are nice and helpful (they just talk a lot).

The staff- really helpful. It's currently open for collecting holds. Aug 24th the library is supposed to open full-fledge but with covid social/physical distancing norms in place. Got my library card in flat 2mins done. Nov 2... Updated review. Social distancing norms still apply and strictly following

I've lived in the area almost 100% of my life, and this was my first library. When my dad first showed me the internet, the first thing he did was connect to the freenet, which allowed us to browse the library catalogue. Many of the first books I read were from this branch. I got older and moved on to other areas of life, but I visited the old branch just recently with a piece of mail to renew my library card. I'm studying music now, and while this branch doesn't have a huge section (nor do I think they ought to) I found a nice book that was just what I was looking for. Libraries in general have been held in such high esteem by myself and my family.

On the smaller side but adequate for the usage level. Wifi can be spotty. No separation for the children's section. One small bathroom. Nice view of College St. at least.
