Racist staff. People looking at you like zoo animals. Guess if I was white it'd be a big difference.

Some staff are very helpful but some just don't really assist at all. Only setback is the parking.

Beautiful Library, in the memory of the late journalist Barbara Frum. Informative and friendly staff. Don't dump your children there while you go shopping, they are not babysitters,

Very helpful staff. The library isn't allowing any books to be touched or signed out (Covid craziness), but they have a photo copier lol

Benjamin Brenner

I love this library. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing. Great selection. Wonderful programs. Just the best.

Pretty much the go to to get some work/studying done without much distractions. Wifi is great and both floors usually have low noise/disturbances. Book selection is effy at times, but you can always find books else where and place them on hold

Barbara Frum location has always been A-1 on all levels, but most recently they've taken on a 2nd security guard who not only looks but acts the part of a gangstah! I stood by one day and couldn't help but witness how he's easy to jump into rude mode and has quite the nasty-eyed glower to patrons for no apparent reason. There's a more stocky guard who also takes his job seriously but always comes off as very cool and approachable, but this other guy is somewhat scary. That's a first for any library experience for me and I truly hope it's not a sign of things to come!

Pros: Good selection of books, plenty of space, orderly and quite. Cons: The newspaper section is a mess. The magazine section lacks character. For instance you can find the new Yorker magazine but not a magazine about bicycles. lol.

Great library with fantastic (heavily) subsidized classes for children. Also there are free tickets giveaways to Toronto institutions (AGO, Science Center, museums, etc.) every Thursday morning.

I feel that every library needs about 10x the nonfiction that they have, this is no exception unfortunately. The Staff are lovely, the building is lovely, and the patrons are lovely.

This an amazing place to get some serious work done. The staff are very friendly, and the library is well equipped. One thing I noticed was the second floor is quite spacious. The huge windows compliment the space while generating a perfect bright space. Moreover, the minimized traffic on the second floor allows the reader to have better concentration. I found the children and teen sections well designed for the appropriate users. :)

Libraries are evolving..it's no longer just about books and deafening silence.its now about where the new and old world meet. Art and technology. A meeting place. On Jan 23 2017 the library will be presenting a program on health and wellness ..vegetarianism 101...all part of programs @ barbara frum

Large neighborhood branch in a stately three-floor building. Airy space with bright materials and windows. Main study area on second floor has lots of surfaces, some with charging stations. Program rooms on third floor. Community room at sublevel.

Convenient library. Has the basic necessities, but outdated like most of the other libraries. Book selection isn't great
