I love this place so much. I consider it a second home sometimes. The staff is great. The English book selection is wonderful. You can request books online and they will reserve them for you, and I love that. Also, sometimes they do interlibrary loans and that is also great, and they will call you to tell you about it. I love spending time in there, and they have study rooms as well. The main issue I have is that it is SO HOT in there, and sometimes it's difficult to be in there.

When does it stop!!! I came to use this library and as I was waiting to go inside a security guard approached me to accuse me on behalf of one of the Karens employed there saying that I looked like another woman of colour that opened an emergency exit! I am absolutely positive I can read and I certainly would not be tampering with out of bounds exits in any building!!! The Karens employed at this building seriously need to get a life, because I have one and it doesn't involve criminal activity of any kind!!!

The new library is very modern and easy to use. They have installed self checkout and return machines that are easy to use. Good selection of books too.

Newly renovated and reopened, the DDO library is a wonderful place to go. New furnished sitting area right at the entrance, a self returning windows, like ATM, let you return books and print out the results, with lights showing you when to insert the books, green go like traffic signals. There is nursing room for moms, digital water fountain ⛲ with bottles refill counts. Magazines, DVD, Blu rays,cd, a special designated area for teens, with modernized charging outlets, even small rooms with door for tutoring, nicely designed. Parking is easy when no sports activity around .

I've been going to this library for 35 years and now Im taking my kids there. Recently went under major renovations and reopened September 2021. The layout is almost identical to the old layout, kids on the right, juvenile and adult on the left. Quiet room is still in front with chairs and tables spread around the library. There are private rooms you can still reserve and a new computer room that isn't ready yet. Check out is self serve now, you scan your card, the books and go. There are still many people who work there, a room to seperate books, it just looks more modern. Glad to see the updates
