Wonderful little library with its own vibe and atmosphere. I'm especially fond of the focus on younger readers, hopefully inspiring their imagination via catering to their favourite series' and characters (see the map of fantasy picture attached.) Featuring all of the standard various media types, alongside lots of space to study or gain some quiet time, this is certainly a great spot to visit whether with others or alone!

Convenient library to goto, using the computer can be annoying if you're using it more than 90 minutes. Printing is cheap, but no scanning functionality.

No privacy when using the computers. They have the security guard seated right in front of the computers facing the people. All the desks and seating are at the back of the library. Way too many people bring their kids who won't shutup. THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THE QUIET STUDY AREA IN THE BACK. YES, A QUITE STUDY IN A LIBRARY IS THE ONLY ADVANTAGE!!! A LIBRARY OF THIS POOR CALIBER WOULD ONLY APPEAR IN NEWTON, NEVER IN GUILDFORD OR FLEETWOOD. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN CITY OF SURREY, WAY TO PUT OUR TAX DOLLARS TO USE!!!

Mid sized library in Surrey. Good selection of books. With all the restrictions during the pandemic the staff worked extra hard to provide library services. It was amazing to see how the staff maintain their energy level and friendliness in this period.

Noisy ! Frequented by a phycho with a low IQ that wants to build up his self-esteem by bullying those he thinks are vulnerable, like seniors (I'm 77) I've complained to the library staff about this clowns behavior All they do is shake there finger in his face and tell him that his behavior is against library rules ! Next I have Mr Bully glaring at me and trying to make me afraid , Well it took a hard slap across his face to get him off my case. Did it work ? Yes , untill next time ???

They literally don’t have any standards and except one person in this library all are full of nonsense staff. They don’t know how to behave with their customer how to speak .. i always had good experience here but now they just ruin everything. STAFF IS BIG CAUSE AND THEIR IDIOT BEHAVIOUR. Whoever is this libraries owner or senior please change your stAff . Its a request or teach them some good manners. ???????????? they spoiled my mood.

Used to be a great library even 5 years ago, but now it's under sized for the amount of people moving into the neighborhood and using the resources available.Too many undesirables thanks to Diane Watts. You have the "easy does it club", The John Volken Academy, the Welfare office and a few other social institutions/programs running within 1 km of the library. They are used to accomodate former junkies. SO GUESS WHO SHOWS UP AT THE LIBRARY......JUNKIES AND CRIMINALS!!!!!! And the staff are nosy, lazy and have an attitude. 5 years ago it would have been 4-5stars. NEWTON PAYS THE MAJORITY OF TAXES IN SURREY!!!!!! ALL THE MONIES GOING TO SOUTH SURREY OR CENTRAL....TOTAL BS WE WANT A NEW LIBRARY......NOW!!!!!! CONTACT YOUR MLA....OR THAT LAZY MAYOR
