My kids love coming to the library!

The Chilliwack library is staffed by friendly, helpful people (mostly women) who will open up a second check out the moment they see a line up forming, happily go in search of holds that haven't made it to your pick up shelf yet, and recommend books based on your selections. I feel so fortunate to have access to all of the library's resources and I'm grateful for all the services provided by the kind-hearted people who run it, day in and day out.

I know this is a review for like 20+ years ago. However; it doesn't look like it's changed. My brother and I would come with my mom and have fun at the library. We also like walking around the outside looking at all the animals and stuff. with that said for small kids I would said it's a great place of both balance of nature outside and fantastic inside. I also like that they still have lots of activities for kids still.

I read a lot of books including many that are from Vancouver Public LIbrary and outside of the FVL system. I also request books for the library to purchase. I am very happy with the service I get from the Chilliwack Library and the FVL system. I also like the fact that our local library is so busy. People of all ages make good use of this location.

A little loud for a library, but overall not a bad place to look for a book. It can get quite busy at times so it can be difficult to find somewhere to sit. The seating is arranged in such a way that you have to sit with someone and it can get awkward if you want to just read a book and the person next to you wants to chat. The only complaint I have beyond the noise is the smoking area outside, there’s no way around it so you have to walk through all the second hand smoke. Ew.

It was nice to be sble to get away from home,to sit and read my book for couple hours. Dobt get to do that at home vecause too much to do there. So i got to stay til closing and went about pickjng up grand daughter at gair salon abd go hkme

Love the library. Everyone there is so lovely and they take the time to encourage my little ones in their reading.

The library is well stocked and staff are very nice but it would be nice if children visiting it were taught not to shout and run wild. Also, having to deal with the the druggie and homeless that surround the library, hence the reason for a security guard inside, is quite intimidating for a library visit.

The staff is wonderful. I bring my grandchildren there and they love it. I also drop in to make that puzzle there is in process and I have met some nice people there. The staff have gone out of their way to help me. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years to all the staff.

chilliwack is a small CITY and this place is as big and an elementary school library. it's also the down town library, so it's loaded with the towns over abundent homeless population. wheres the money going guys?

I found it quite and helpful. The Wi-Fi needs a major over hall as it's so out of date it can't handle to many people of the system.
