As you can read, it reaches an feddbacks average is almost the best one, and it's founded on a very high number of opinions, so we can say that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Library belongs to the category of Public library.
A great place to get some work done, read books or past the time with all the fun resources!
When the children are limited its a nice quiet calming place to get readings done.
Very modern and pretty decent sized library. Has a different vibe compared to the other Brampton libraries. Staff are friendly and helpful. Washrooms are gorgeous and very clean as well. It was fairly semi-quiet but do offer quiet rooms. Would definitely re-visit!
Very clean and quiet place to study. The staff are following COVID-19 guidelines strictly and asking visitors to do the same. It’s a great place for kids too.
The library is kept very clean and has a modern-aesthetic. The staff are knowledgeable enough to help you out with any questions you may have. It's very kid friendly, and has a park outside for them to play as well. The only issue is that the noise levels can get a bit high, but overall it's a great library.
I rated this a 3 because I'm grateful to know that a library is moving within walking distance of my home, so my kids have absolutely no excuse BUT the delays are a bit disappointing. I do know that patience is key and when the library does open, it will be a success. Thank you to everyone involved in making our Springdale community better. Stay warm and God bless you.
"Having fun isn't hard, if you've got a library card" is literally the definition of this place! Soo many fun things to check out like having access to a button maker, and a 3D printer! Like...what! It's also got a very cool look to it. Lots of seating area and fun areas to check out, you'd forget you're even at a library! Definitely check it out if you're in Brampton, it's worth the walk through!
Brand New library! I've been waiting for this place to open up since forever. The staff were friendly and got me started on a library card right away! The makerspace is impressive and I can't wait to print stuff out. There's a lot of space to study and there's even a silent study zone. I find that people are generally quiet in the space away from the children's area. The only con is that there aren't any wall plugs available. I don't want to move from my table to get to a computer to charge my electronics. And even when I found wall plugs at the computer station, I didn't have any room to plug them in. Overall, I look forward to studying here more often.
Great place to bring the kids. The library has a fair selection of books. The facility is spacious and accommodating. Washrooms are clean. Outside there is a playground and water park for kids to enjoy. I wish the library opens on Sundays too but at least the kids can still play outside.
Best library when children are limited, Large collection of books and very nice staff
Extremely good customer service. Staff always makes you feel very welcome. Beautiful place to get kids to. I went yesterday to the library, even with the Pandemic in full swing, the customer service was awesome.
Was my favourite library but they closed off all the seating space at the back corner, it had a lot less movement compared to all the seating at the front so it’s a little hard to focus when there’s steady traffic coming in. The hours are also lacking since there’s no after hours study anymore. It’s still a beautiful library & usually quiet enough but it’s just not anywhere similar to pre-covid with the amenities.
They charge like 20 cents per a page and you can't even print double sided
great library sometimes theirs a bit of noise. Other than that amazing facility and great resources and helpful staff.
Very nice and modern
Not visited so far, planning visit on 06 March
Newest library and very clean and well equipped like all others. Very polite staff. Lot of great resources.Do give 3d printing a try if you are there. It’s in a plaza so grocery shops and lot of eating joints nearby. They host great events time to time and also they have beautiful park just outside the library with splash pads and swings.
Safe and the staff is very helpful, maintaining distance and all safety measures. Making sure that everyone is safe.
Very well managed with a lot of great books and strong wifi connection.
Beautiful location, wonderful experience
There is a park for kids having fountains lots off kids acitivity stuff kind a interesting place for kids to enjoy and had lots of fun in summers very safe and peaceful
It finally opened. It has lots of technology like the maker space. It is also busy a lot
Love to visit library My child get the books every 2 week and He enjoy the books. He also loves reading. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The librarians are kind and helpful. There is usually a pile of books someone left in the kids area that's a mess bc the kids section is big and they have great books. Small magazine section, lots of variety. Lots of new books, nice section of books in different languages (all ages) too, lots of books with audio. Pre-covid there were lots of engaging programs and a fun interactive wall. And there's a park right outside, called Komagatu Maru Park. Not only a beautiful building but a great clean space for everyone.
I loved the .
amazing staff and beautiful place to study, only reason i gave it 4 stars is because you need to be open till 12 am so we can study. highly recommend changing your hours, thank you.
I think this is the best Brampton library as I’ve been to other Brampton libraries. This one is very spacious and there’s a special area reserved for those who bring their kids with them. The staff here are very kind and always ready to help with any concerns.
Apart from the place and layout, I have to note the staff here is very helpful. They go above and beyond to please a child. Kids like to go here..
Newly built, Futuristic design. Great place to study.
Clean and modern space. It’s close to food chains and other amenities. The staff is nice and wonderful. They have limited collection of books but its quite spacious if you want a place to study.
Fantastic public library in Brampton!
Very helpful staff.
Library staff working Sat November 13, 2021 was very rude and has no compassion at all!! Can't help but write this review even though nothing will come of it. This woman does not belong there. She is a bully who clearly enjoys being one. Came to study and settled down with my papers and laptop but was told to leave because I was using a table with computer. There was no sorry or maybe I can get you another area to sit and do your studies. No, just leave now is exactly what this very cold hearted woman said. Very strange situation for sure! No one was there needing a computer. Most of us have laptops these days.
Does this library has printing facilities?
Large children's section, very bright and open. The adjacent park and splash pad is very unique. Lots of parking spaces and outdoor picnic areas
friendly and helpful staff. I borrow their Tablets for kids but they never work as once the battery drains out the chargers they give along with it never seem to work .
It’s a nice place to chill at
Beautiful library, awesome ambiance, wonderful infrastructure. It has so many wonderful activities.
Very well maintained and its neat..
An equally great and beautiful spot! The quiet spaces really are quiet and I really did enjoy being able to get some work done. The librarians are nice too :)
Amazing place, clean and smell good. You can rent a go pro here if you want
good library
Beautiful place awesome staff and lots to do, specially kids love.
The librarian is too rude. They close from 1.30 to 2 pm and i was just there at 1.29 for picking up the already held book. But they had hung the closed sign on the door and even upon requesting, wouldn’t give the book or entry and say come at 2 pm. Was very arrogant. Can’t decide if he was more arrogant or more racist. They are to serve people not to show attitude.
Nice library, clean and modern. However the seating is lacking. I understand there's an allowed number of visitors due to covid restrictions but being asked to move twice because there's not enough seating is certainly frustrating when you've come to the library to work on your studies yet there's no actual space for you to do so.
It isn't a quiet place, but it is a good library
Lovely and quite place in the city. So many options for kids to explore. Saperate space for kids and digital media. Not too many people. The staff is helpful, especially the reception staff. Self check out is available. The books drop off is outside too. Proper social distancing done.
The Best staff and very helpful.
The library is a great it so clean every time I take a huge spit on the ground it just dissolves into the floor simply amazing. Sadly I'm going to be late to returning my books so it just doesn't take my spit it takes my money :*(
Love this library offers so many activities for kids of all ages , friendly staff and structure is beautiful and different...
nice environment
It is closed today
It's a great area for studying or just quiet reading. Lots of space and good books.
Really amazed with the environment
Moving from a different city and looking for a nice place to study hands down by far the best public library in Brampton. Clean environment, efficient staff and extremely helpful. Thank you
Good little library. 4.5 stars from me but..... I know it is required the the by law but I just hate the mask policy for people who are here all day and are already sat way more than 6 feet part why do we need to wear a mask.....
Staff is very good. I'm new in Canada and they guided me very nicely and thoroughly.
very cold and it’s never quiet, some people are trying to study for exams and people will be yelling and calling people so loud. i recommend gore medows for a quiet study place
This library is spacious and bright in it's own architectural way with windows all around to make it feel like you are studying outside but in an indoor space. The staff in this library are nice but I was truly disappointed in how little they know how to work the printer. I have gone to the library twice to print papers for my upcoming exam. The first day, there was something wrong with the printer screen as it was enlarged and it took two of the librarians to fix it long enough that I had to leave for my appointment so I did not end up printing due to that issue. The second day I tried to print, was even more of hassle as the printers have a double sided printer option, and as a student, would find it eco-friendly and cost effective to pick this option (as it was after all an option). As I went ahead to print my 93 pages review papers into a 46 double sided paper, I was prompted on the screen to ensure that once done printing, to flip the pages to print on the other side. I had called one of the librarians to help and she had no idea how to work this option on the printer and stated "this is not an option we have here". The librarian was able to find out later how and which way to put the paper in, but it took so long I was locked out of my computer and had to start all over again (mind you only having one side of my pages only printed). This caused another issue as I had to manually enter the page numbers I then wanted to print on the other side, which in the end did not end up the way I or anyone would want their paper to be, in chronological order. The other librarian stated that even if it doesn't work, I would still need to pay for these paper, which I agreed on because I do hate wasting ink and paper. Although I agreed, I do believe that having staff in this library be knowledgeable of the printing system and the options it has on the computer will help ease with the users time, money and stress in printing. This was a horrible experience I hope no one would have to go through as it took forever just to print papers for my exam due to the inexperienced staff that did not know how to work the printer system.
Nice place
The lighting should be optional on particular days and towards the late afternoons as the windows are your walls. It’s too bright and a waste of energy, maybe it’s just me. Due to no walls, there are a number of outlets on the floors, which is pretty decent as your screen brightness will be to its maximum. My first time being there, I showed up around 11am, and the only study room available (due to construction) has four rectangular tables, which is obviously occupied by four people. So show up exact 10am if you need quiet and solitude for your studying. There is a nice water station where you can refill your bottles. The space overall feels like a recreational centre or a cafeteria, it’s very open and I’m sure you can get away with eating at your table. The noise isn’t too bad until the kids arrive for their play date (on some days), which is on the other side of the library separated by book shelves. However, there are a good selection of books, both children and (young) adult fiction/ non-fiction.
It's a gorgeous library and the librarians are very friendly. Lots of plugs in the floors, so no issue with my laptop dying! However, it is an incredible struggle to see my screen on sunny days because the walls are windows. Even at max. brightness, I had to squint past my reflection in the glare. There are some darker areas but they don't have many tables.
I couldn't find an actual study room. I'm not sure if a totally open concept library is very conducive to studying. It's seems more like a place for children to have fun and enjoy books and the makerspace. It makes sense given the location of this library, but I would have definitely appreciated a quiet space with desks spread out. The spaces are very contemporary and elegant with alot of glass walls. Not a large library at all since it is a single floor with tall walls.
Beautiful location. Lovely architecture.
Nice place! Staff is very friendly and helpful
The space is beautiful! It's visually pleasing, but is more of a rec centre filled with activities. If you're looking for something fun for the kids then bring them here. There are tons of daily activities to keep them engaged. If you're looking for a quiet library vibe, then this is not the space. There is a huge room at the entrance that is referred to as the multi-media room. This room is usually closed off the public. This would make an ideal spot for those who want a quiet space for studying. The actual quiet study room, located further within the library has only 4 tables and apart from the first week, is always full. I've asked the staff whether it would be possible to use the giant empty room that's filled with tables, but was constantly told that the room is closed to the public. I know that there are no construction or safety issue since they allowed us to use that room during the first week after it got dark, since the lights in the actual study room were not working. I'm not sure whether it's because it's still a new space, but this library is filled with screaming children. If you're looking for a quiet study space, check out the upper level of the Four Corners branch.
This library is the worst and here are my reasons why. Firstly, the architectural design is flawed in my opinion. As this building was designed without consideration for the patrons in the community. This building has no foyer where patrons can wait until the library opens, so we are forced to wait outside in different weather conditions. Also the interior structures are not very practical. There should be study rooms not a massive space with less than 15 computers and uncomfortable seats. Secondly the entrance doors are always malfunctioning, so they lock out patrons and we have to wait until someone comes along to open the doors. Thirdly this library is more of a community centre as there are no designated rooms for studying. This means that Librarians are tasked with moving patrons from rooms to rooms because the study areas was reserved for either yoga class or meetings etc. If you want to study, I suggest using a different library.
Beautiful library. Thank you to Katy. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
Modern design and have spacious arrangements for quiet area. Book collection is limited but its nice place incase you need less crowded and peaceful place to study. Close to food chains and all basic amenities.
Excellent staff...and facilities...would love to go again...only concern..y r ppl playing cards inside the library...shouldn’t be allowed..personal thought
Nice ambiance.. different areas for quiet study and group study.. Bright with ample of day light..
Amazing
