great collection of books, There are currently six permanent locations. Brampton Library has a collection of more than 562,000 books, magazines, large print materials, audio books, and DVDs. Currently, the library has a staff of 160 full-time and part-time employees.Brampton Library services a population of just under 600,000 people of more than 200 distinct ethnicities.

It's comparatively smaller library...has internet and enough study place. Staff is nice and friendly....has everything that you typically expect from a good library.

I go there often and I have to say if you are looking for a good book look there. There is great resources such as computers laptop printers and nd encyclopedia . Not only that but there is free learning clubs for kids and family ranging from all ages. It's a great place to hang with friends catch up on work read a good book or just to relax and listen to music. The employees are very friendly and while try there best to find you a book that suits you. Anything that you need they are there. Up to date technology and even cool whys to check out books. If your In a rush and don't have time to check in a book just put it into the return bin and I'm positive that it will get checked in on time .

It is the best and longest serving library in the community. Though comparatively small to others, it exudes a sense of being eternal. The staff rearrange the furniture every few seasons and its refreshing to see the change.

My favourite place to sit and read. They have got variety of books, journals especially Sc. Journals ,newspapers, magazines.Comfortable chairs and tables and helpful staff members and cosy environment makes u feel at home and time flies away.... one gets a feel good factor here... Being regular visitor , l felt few librarians now are bit harsh and keep nagging with children during closing hours ... can be bit polite please...

Great assortment of books, movies, CDs etc. I love the little seating area, and the computers. The self sign out screens are my favorite cause I'm a little shy. As a kid I loved coming here with my sister after swimming and skating lessons (which are right next to the library) to cool off and enjoy some quality literature. The staff are so friendly, don't hesitate to ask them for help. If you live nearby and haven't visited here yet, it's never too late! Do come by when you have the chance, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely library with a wide selection of books, magazines and encyclopedias. Wonderfully relaxing seating area and ample space to accommodate the large amount of foot traffic, especially children.

Staff is very nice and helpful, lots of work spaces. Unfortunately the library is extremely noisy, the quiet area is an open space as opposed to a closed off room. Not the best environment to focus and study due to the noise.

The service i got from this lady in particular was terrible and she was so biased i hope she gets some coaching from someone . She is the lady who handles the Cultural Access Pass and sits on the desk . i went there at 5.45 and she was not there, they told me to wait for her after waiting for 20 mins she came and said it was my lunch so went grocery shopping and when i inquired as to what time she works she said 6.30 so i am confused as to what kind of lunch break she is referring to . then she asked me if i had kids and i said yes she then told me to put housewife in the form and i asked her why i work she then said oh i thought you dont work one of her biases shown over here just because i told her i have kids . the whole time she was talking to two other men in punjabi and was being very disrespectful to me sitting right under her nose . she also made a comment saying do u want more kids if i had kids i would have thrown them away .

Why this library doesn’t have separate study room? They have so called quite zone which is in open area i dont know why. Honestly it is so noisy overthere. One can not concentrate in such environment. People who are reading for their exams should not come to this library.

I love going to this library with my toddler. There are several activities for little ones especially during the summer break. I also love the collection of books here. Plus, the staff is super friendly and pleasant.

If your looking for a absolutely quiet place to study, avoid this library. Its always loud and kids are running around. Its noisy and inconvenient at times when your trying to study.

Super easy to get a library card, super friendly staff. Didnt mention library card was expiring end of year so had to call a month later but renewed it on the phone no problem as it was such a short time. All you need is an Ontario ID to get a brampton library card which makes it really simple. Not as great of an ebook selection but still a lovely source to have.

Not very toddler friendly library and staff. Went early for the family story time. My toddler was playing the soft blocks stacking them he walked away for a short time and came back to the staff putting them up too high for him to reach and requesting the last one from him to put up. His nose was running so got two tissue of Kleenex to clean his nose. I return a third time and the Kleenex box was moved out of sight for public use. This Kleenex box was by the hand sanitizer so I think it was for public use but I could be wrong. When I realized the staff in charge of story was the last I though not be kid friendly. I decided not to stay and left Right when story time started. I’ve been taking my 8 year old to library programs for years but never had an event touch my heart enough for me to right a review. There is a part of me that wants to donate a pack of Kleenex to the library but I will choose to return to this library.

While I don't visit this branch often, I observed the staff congregate at the desk. It seems like there isn't enough work for them and so they just stand around. At least look busy rather than chatting with one another.
