As a student seeking a comfortable place to study, this place has not logically organized their tables with respect to working outlets. Don't expect to find a seat near an outlet easily, or bring a laptop that is fully charged if you need to do work for a fair amount of time. I'll make sure not to come here again in the future but its a shame because this is my local library. Fix this for the sake of others who don't have the luxury to visit other libraries please. Really disappointed.

This library is a comfortable spot to read or work and runs lots of great programs. They have lots of comfy chairs for lounging or desks if you need to work. They even provide free Wifi and internet access with a select number of computers provided. They run lots of programs, especially for younger children or immigrants. My only complaint is that when I borrow DVDs from here they often will not play since they are scratched or damaged from previous users.

I came here at Mount pleasant village branch library and ask for library card, I didn't think that I will get card so easily and fast but they just ask my one of Photo ID and within 2 minutes my card is ready ..????

Great place for reading and studying. The staff is extremely helpful and available to help you. I never go to any other libraries. Also the fountain and park outside the library is beautiful.

This is a nice and fresh library. However, there are too many kids running/screaming around. Their parents instead of telling them to quiet down encourage them to make more noise. This is not the best place to study.

Ok, so I've read mixed reviews on here. And This is the best way I can put it. Sure, someone might argue that there's a quiet room. But, the wifi signal there is not that great. So it renders the quiet room unusable. So what you're left with is the general lobby. And honestly, that area is less of a library and more of a day care. Noisy kids all over the place! So yeah...not really the kinda place for a quiet study session. The staff is great and friendly for the most part and the library is reasonably clean. Plus there's a cheap pizza shop nearby.

Nice environment outside. Good to go in the winter for skating as well. The park area is different and unique as well. The library overall is well organized with a greats kids section for reading. Has an overall quiet and friendly environment. The librarians are also enthusiastic and helpful. Reading and picking up a book is important and this place does get the job done! Good place to focus but as a student however, there is not a lot of study space, and the seats are rather uncomfortable. In addition, there are not a lot of outlets in places which would be most convenient.

This is a great public library that accommodates everybody in the neighbourhood. There's always signs up to inform you of what's going on in the community at the time. The library is expansive and spans two floors, with silent study rooms and well-lit spaces with comfortable chairs for group study. A huge library also means a huge selection of free books (and audiobooks, DVDs, more) which anybody in the community should take full advantage of before buying books.

Pros: convenient location for those on the north-west end of brampton, clean (minus the bathrooms after 5-6 PM), organized, lots of desks (I've seen staff bring out more desks during peak hours), bright and lots of lighting on the second floor, lots of parking Cons: only open from 2 PM on the weekdays and closes early Friday through Sunday, gets loud when the high school students are out of class and silent study room isn't open until 4 PM and when the younger children are having a play session on the first floor, no water fountain, got rushed out one night by a female staff member at 8:55 PM when I was waiting for my computer to shut down

Very nice library, its a good place to go as an entire family. I have two kids and i visited this place few days back. It was really awesome experience. Kids enjoyed a lot. For kids its like play and learn at the same time. There are different sections for kids and adults, in general lot of books are there. But I have taking more star as I am computer freak I didnt find much books associated with that. Overall I rate my experience as very good. Please do note Brampton Library is also linked with various online learning sites like Lynda which is a big plus in itself.

Visited the place as it was used for Election Canada Poling station. The community center is very beautiful place. Architecture, Building, play growing, water pond and other decorations are so appealing and beautiful. It’s near beautiful Go Station which makes it approachable for community.

Very nice library with lots of sunlight, sitting space and tables. The curated displays are nice to browse if you are in the mood for something random or seasonal. There were a lot of new books available for 1 week lending period. The entrance to the library also has some information on local events/community stuff. A "downer" might be no cafe but then again most people that swing by are pretty close to home anyway. But maybe that's why this library seems pretty clean? LOL.

Worst library I have been to. I still don’t understand is this a library or hangout place for kids. Would not recommend to a person who wants to study in a quiet environment.

This is not a library but a park with kids running around and screaming. Adults sitting in quiet zones are busy making sales calls. Students who want to focus on studies cannot do so without plugging into music to drown the noise around them. There is no space available in the quiet rooms. The concept of library has changed over the years.Sad!!!

I was of the option that this was a library system with understanding staffs until I got hit with fines. DVD materials that its fine is as good as my going over to the store and buying it at the same rate or even less. I was told I was sent a reminder, which i searched for all through my inbox, spam and trash and couldn't locate against the so called date that appeared on their system. The only reminder, I personally received was their phone which by the time, its too late since they are hell bent on "their fines". Good luck to the staff person I met that faithful day. What a place, no quiet study area until after 4pm what a joke of a library. Parking space availability, you must be kidding.

This library is a complete disaster! It is always soooo unbelievably loud with kids running around and students coming after school finishes to hang around and lounge. Indoor voices is not a thing at this library. The one silent study room they do have is outdated and feels more like a jail cell. This is not a library its a zoo!

A poor excuse for a library. If you're planning to have quiet study time, you might want to rethink that. It is extremely loud regardless of where in the library you go, and the staff are not AT ALL attentive to this issue. The "quiet study" is only open after 4pm. There are very minimal resources available, however the staff are willing to help find resources when necessary.

Great library in my opinion. Friendly staff ready to help. Decent public safety measures to prevent COVID, and theft protection on all exits and entries. I enjoy the windows side view, it looks like an expensive view, great thing is that I am able to access it everyday easily. When its sunny out, by the large window wall, it looks amazing. Hope you guys try it out one day. :)

I wish they could make arrangements for the study room as the space is very small and it would be very disturbing during lunch hour as the kids from school create a lot of noise in the main reading area. Its small than the other branches yet looks dynamic. The kids area is on ground floor with all facilities. Second floor has the main area with computers.

I used to love this place. But today’s experience has completely changed my mind. I got in late around 8:45 pm for some urgent print outs. Was trying to quickly release the code and finish before 9:00pm. I was trying my best to finish But unfortunately I could not. I requested for 2 more minutes to a librarian named Cheryl and requested that the prints are little urgent. Ufcourse she said we are close now and you can’t print now and come back at 10:00 am. I requested again by saying it’s urgent. She said a no. I don’t know what happened to her. I was on a phone call. She started talking rudely and started telling me her name and came near me and turned off the computer screen. I was shocked, like their is a way to talk. I was requesting her and she came and turned off the monitor. Before I could exit the session. She did this pathetic act for no reason. Cheryl please learn some manners. Your behaviour was completely pathetic and rude. Your polite request would have been ok to me. I seriously felt that they kicked me out. Behaviour was very bad.

Received late fees in excess of a 140.00 dollars because they didnt call tge number on my account and entered my email address wrong. This is why libraries are obsolete for that amount I could have bought all that I borrowed outright what a joke

I love the free Parent-kids programs that they have every Tuesday and Saturday. And also the library in general.
