This is fabulous facility for south-enders. While the downtown location has many more volumes, the inter-branch transfer program is very fast and efficient. Many kids programs. Finally a good use of our tax dollars!

Our family loves this library. Staff are so welcoming and there is a great children's area with lots of activities to keep them busy. Plenty of seats and computers so it's easy to find a quiet space if you need one. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the short hours on Sundays (12pm-5pm) and Mondays (closes at 5pm).

I like coming here. This library is well-kept and a newer building. A shame that I hear they are moving in the future. While they don’t have a huge selection of books (it IS a smaller library branch) what is there is quite good! Also, one cannot truly complain because you can easily order a book from the Downtown branch for pickup, or vice versa. The desk staff could definitely be a bit friendlier, as others have mentioned. Overall a good library for the area.

It's a good library but the amount of ppl there working, on their phones, talking loudly, eating is VERY distracting. You cannot concentrate at this library. No one monitors this.

It's a nice quiet place. I usually do pranks there so watch out. It's way better than the downtown library and h as the same selection as downtown library. It's better worth your while.

We are very lucky to have this branch in our area and we feel blasts for it, is of great help in general, the only complain I have is that the people who work here are not involve at all to try to keep the library in control, because is extremely laud not only the people who visits the library but the people who work here as well, when you are here you feel like you are in small indoor fair, people are talking, laughing, kids screaming, jumping around etc, and no one say nothing NO ONE. So people can be more respectful with other people who want to read and that are completely quiet. I came to the library to read books to prepair for a test and if I want to be in the silence room is always full, is very small, would be better if it is bigger or may be another room similar to this one. But in general is wonderful building, clean with a lot of activities for everyone, unfortunately the people who are running it are not capable to do a good job. I wish to see at least some posters around the library to remained to the public and the workers to try to keep a little more soft voices and be respectful with other. Thank you.

Absolutely disgusted with the service I got at the library today. Such careless staff, very non-friendly, they act like they’re insulted if you ask for help. Very inconvenient for quick printing like it should be at a library. What a bad example of a public library.

I LOVE this branch of the library. The staff are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much bother for them. I enjoy the reading recommendations they make. I have really missed going in but have made good use of the e-books that are available. Can't wait to see you all again and Norbert of course

I have been meaning to review this library for ages. It's very clean, great selection and I cannot say enough about the staff! I have two little girls (3 and 5) and the staff always go out of their way to make them feel special and recognized. I am so bad with names, and there are so many brilliant librarians who work here, but Katherine is always wonderful. Helpful and kind and accommodating. When you go to this library, you really feel like the staff wants to do whatever they can to encourage reading. I am so grateful for this resource and we CAN'T WAIT to come back. Keep up the great work and thank you for being so amazing! ????

Poorest amount of content I've ever seen. I've been to used book stores with more content. Librarians were so unhelpful and were very chatty to staff, making it seem like you were disturbing them. Biggest disappointment about moving to Barrie is the library

I love going to this library as its spotlessly clean and covid safety is an ultimate. The staff are friendly and amazing and always helpful. My frequent visits have always being pleasant.
