Best library of all time. It's just so comfy and fun and they've got books on every subject from Swiss Graphic Design to how cults recruit people to the African population in Guangzhou, China. You can find it all there. The only thing is I wish there was a Starbucks and not that other not so good coffee shop, but otherwise its perfect.

Looks cool; very modern library. The presentation rooms are great for group work, but you need to reserve the rooms about a week in advance. During busy times (finals), the library is very busy, there are designated quiet areas, but all the study areas are usually full. Good luck finding a spot to study during finals.

The library has 6 floors... Bottom 3 are for people to sit together and discuss things. Top 3 are silence rooms, meant to be used by people who prefer studying alone. The support staff are also very helpful.

Excellent study space with no shortage of resources for many different needs, as well as the top floors being quiet floors. Plenty of Apple and Windows computers for students to access as well. Does get quite busy during exams and difficult to find a spot

A premier library with a massive selection of books. Separated floors means that studying on them is generally quiet and respectful. The study desks are also quite large giving you plenty of room to spread out books and devices.

Great place to get work done. Doesnt have enough space and gets very busy during finals season. Temperature on the floor does not match with the season. Air condition is still on during winter. Washrooms are ALWAYS dirty and is only cleaned once every day.

TFDL is the best place on campus to set up for day-long study sessions! Unfortunately, pretty much everyone knows this, so there's a pretty low turnover of people, making it REALLY hard to find a seat when it's busy. The fact that there's a Good Earth on the first floor is great, they're usually very fast and always very friendly! I really recommend TFDL for anyone who needs a good place to sit and focus!

Generally short staffed, I find the library front desk staff quite abrupt to the point of rudeness. Computer keyboards are dirty, people eating and drinking around equipment. Database access is slow and tends to crash alot. Noisy as well.

Look no further for a quite place to study at UofC, just go to the top floors of TFDL. Finding a spot can be difficult during fall and winter semesters and especially near exams, however, if you have a spot, you can focus on your work.

Shorten version of this library is TFDL. Provides access to large number of books. Also it provides access to lots of technological digital equipments such as tablets, headphones and dj equipments. It has study tables in ground, first and third floors. And there is a place to do silent studying. Furthermore, sufficient number of Apple and Windows computers available to for the students. There are plenty of study rooms and presentation practice rooms. They needed to reserve in advance. There is a coffee shop in the ground floor to buy coffee or a simple snacks. Great place to studying, working and writing.

I can't believe people actually leave a review for the University library. It's not like a business where they have to be competitive. If you cannot study home, most students do not have other options.

Great library. Gets pretty busy during exam season. But booking the rooms ahead of time to study is pretty easy through the online system. It can also get really loud, unless you go to the very top floors so you may want to invest in some earplugs. They have helpful people on floor 1 if you need to find a book. Overall, pretty clean and well taken care of throughout the year.

Fantastic facility. There are six floors with multiple studying facilities, ranging from private stalls to group meeting rooms. The fourth floor and above are designated quiet floors, overall a great place to study.

Great place to study or finish up homework. 1&2 floors are common areas but remain at a normal or less amount of noise. 3-6 are very quiet. All floors have lots of study spots.

Great place to study. It's relatively new and there are great views from the top floors. I would definitely watch my belongings and never leave them out of my sight, but that's common sense. There are quiet places to study and there are places where you can do group discussions and projects.

Says library is open but it’s actually close drove all the way from Airdrie and this is not the first time their timing is always wrong online. It takes 5 mins to update time

Dirty. The washrooms have no exhaust fans. The urinals get clogged and they just put clear plastic bags over them and let them sit for hours or even days. The result is a bathroom that smells like stale piss. There is urine all over the floor so it is sticky. This has been an ongoing problem for over a year. The electrical outlets have been screwed shut, so it is difficult to find a table where you can plug your laptop in. They tables in the cafeteria are too sparse. There could be twice as many tables in the area. Basically you have a large dirty building, with a lot of wasted space, and the most disgusting washrooms on campus. I would be ashamed to have this building named after my family.
