The staff are really rude, my son forgot his card and we asked if we could get a temporary one they said sorry no. But then the people behind us got a temporary card I have no respect for that library and thier staff.

Really good location. Really happy and friendly staff, always there to help you. Very well organized as well. I love how they connect with the community by posting different selections of art. The study area is decently spacious and tables and chairs offer comfort and quietness. There is one flaw though. That is that the selection is very much small compared other libraries such as the whitemud, millwoods, or downtown libraries.

I have never met a staff so rude! The city should really look into getting a new staff or at least teaching the staff at the riverbend library to be nice. I've been too several libraries but, I must say riverbend library has been the worst experience I've ever had due to the rude staff. If you plan on going to this library to study, I would highly recommend going somewhere else where you won't be interrupted by the staff constantly.

Love love love the Library!! EPL has such an amazing system and a even better staff! The Library is my favorite! The access to books, DVD, CD, and online resources is truly spectacular, and sometimes unbelievable. Through the Edmonton Library I've been able to save so much money on books. And not only that I get to enjoy them and my kids get to enjoy more books than I can be able to provide. It is truly amazing to have such an amazing resource available at our fingertips. I am truly grateful to have such an awesome program in my backyard.

Staff are very welcoming and helpful; they are not intimidating at all even to a 10 year old who had to issue a LOST BOOK report. I come here to work with other students, and the study area is very nice. None of the staff ever tell us that we are too loud or distracting; they are very understanding. It's a wonderful atmosphere.

Excellent library branch. It's not very big, but it IS actually very book focused. The kid's area only has 3 small computers.

Staff are very helpful. There is a lot to read, listen and watch. Not so quiet though because the children play and make some noise but it is manageable. I recommend this library to all.

I love this library!! The books are neatly sorted, and the staff are really nice. There's also a nice section in the back with comfy sofas. My only problem is that there aren't a wide selection of fiction books that I enjoy, but tons of amazing non-fiction books.

Great library and the people there are always helpful. The library is temporarily closed because of Covid-19, but you can take out books online and do curbside pickup.

Riverbend Branch is way more enjoyable these days since it is not as busy as it used to be due to program cancellations. They limit time on the computers to one hour and have removed every second computer keyboard to allow for social distancing. Any books/ movies that are touched are requested to be placed in a bin for quarantining. There is lots of hand sanitizer to use before, during and after visiting. The parking lot is also correspondingly less busy.

Staff at Reception is selective in saying, "Hello," to or welcoming patrons entering the Edmonton Public Library (EPL) in Riverbend on the southside of the city based on my experience. I noticed the Staff at Reception readily said, "Hello" to library goers who were Caucasian, but did not greet me, a visible minority, as I entered the library after 1 pm today. This was not the first time this happened to me. And I thought EPL was inclusive.

I love coming to this branch, although I go to many other branches too,but the staff working here are SUPER FRIENDLY..I love coming to sing,sign program with my children and when Sara is there that day that would be my lucky day this women is amazing always has a big lovely smile she knows how to make the kids happy and enjoy their time Thans Riverbend branch Thanks Sara

Very busy location. They have a great kids area with both separate computers and a play area for the kids. There is also numerous computer workstations for everyone else. There is also a great community room for holding neighborhood events and classes. The common areas can get quite loud since it is all open concept. The parking lot is busy too. Watch out for cars criss crossing the lot.

Staff is great but people keep talking in the reading area about shopping in amazon and in the mall distracting people from reading and spoiling the moments that we re searching of quiet and peaceful atmosphere I keep changing my seat hope to find the library place that i can read in In all it was bad experience in this library and definitely i ll try to find another location

Great location! Small, but it works. Love the free programs they put on for kids. Only part that is a pain is the lack of parking. I always have to haul my baby across the parking lot which isnt ideal in the winter.

Not my favorite library to Go to in the City, but definitely not the worst one. I've had no problems from staff . Forgot my headphones the one day, and they kept it for me to pick up the days after. I wish some people there were more mindful of those studying, reading or doing their own thing in the quieter section, but it's a nice location. Only downside is the parking. It's so limited around there so count on luck to get a parking spot. The earlier in he day you can go, or early evenings, the better. Nice library overall though.

Staff are very loud with their conversations by the door that I heard them in the quiet study area. Kids are unsupervised running around and yelling. Some kids were fighting in the kids zone and throwing bins around, yet no one approached them from the staff. Staff are too busy socializing too. Very difficult to read or study. The library is convenient and a perfect size, unfortunately it’s used as a playground!

Everytime I come to Riverbend Square and park in this complex, there is never anywhere to park because all of their patrons take all the parking stalls in front of other businesses. Just to go to Quiznos, etc, I sometimes have to park near the gym when in reality I shoukd be able to park in front of the store. Why should these library people take all the close stalls all the time? So inconsiderate.
