It's absolutely disgusting! I wish I could rate this library lower, if I could. The last few time when I was visiting for a quick in and out stop just to print a few thing. I ended up sitting next to a diet cola chugging, Cheetos eating, disgusting mess of a human being next to me. I asked the staff to polity ask him not to eat, drink or burp (basically in my face) and their response to me was. "It's not my problem... Goes deal with him yourself". I was very disappointed in the staff ability to deal with someone rubbing their gross sticky, Cheetos covered fingers all over their keyboard.... I promise NEVER to return!!!

Staff are fine at this location, but as to why there is no external return slot for when the library is closed is extremely inconvenient and annoying!

Londonderry mall library has really gone downhill lately..I'm sure it is getting worse by the day. You have rude pushy librarians. Not all but a few are really rude there. There selection is slim . Now it is down sizing even more, it's just going to get worse when they move to new smaller location. ????

Great EPL location for Northsiders to reserve and pick up books. I used to go here as a kid until my University days. You'll find a great range from the main floor and lower level for almost every interest. The reserve section is right at the front so you can be in-and-out in a few minutes. There are always a lot of staff around to help if you need a hand.

I would just like to say, the staff is so disrespectful. As well, they treat others very differently. It is very unfair and unfortunate on how the staff treats you. I definetly do not recommoned coming to this library. I also want to mention that almost all staff are very rude and their behaviour is nasty. I PROMISE YOU THAT I AM NEVER COMING HERE! I have had so many people stealing stuff from me, and I have had enough of how they use their nasty behaviour towards me and others.

The Edmonton Public Library provides an essential service to the local community. The ability for local residents to get access to the internet and other information. Movies, music and books. The EPL membership card is free for Edmonton residents. This location is convenient and clean. It’s well lit. It’s a new location so it’s bright and clean.

The staff are rude and impatient with people who need a little more explanation for the technology. I saw this one girl having trouble with printing and the lady who worked there was being very impatient, rolling her eyes, and unhelpful.

Was actively discriminated against by staff members and the manager despite having a disability. Attempted to show both legal documentation proving disability but was denied with the phrase "I can legally discriminate against you" Will definitely advise any others to actively avoid

I used to go to this location all the time when I was a kid and it was still in the basement. I love how easy it is to go in and check out books whether they’re under Covid restrictions or not. I really like that I can order books on the app and just go in and pick them up and scan them on the machine and leave without really having to interact with anyone if I don’t want to. I also like that you can still pick up from here even when they aren’t letting people in. The staff have all been great with me and my kids and when I was struggling with the printer the one day I was able to find someone to help me right away.

I have come to Londonderry EPL location since the old library was open, firstly the downsize make everyone kids, adults exc all in one small area it gets loud.Also every time I try to study in the quiet study room(no door just open room) I can always hear people talk or making loud noises which defeats the purpose of a study room. I highly recommend utilizing the rooms for study places for students and doors to create different compartments at least

The staff is always so helpful, they know exactly what you're looking for even if you don't! My only complaint is that it is quite noisy downstairs and doesn't make for a good environment even when just looking for my next read.

Londonderry mall is always 5 stars! They go above and beyond, they are friendly, inviting, helpful, approachable and very informative. We love their programmes! Especially the new toddler programme at 6pm on Wednesdays! They have movies, books in different languages, games, programmes, gaming station and computers all for different ages. This new library is more inviting and cozy than the old one. One of the only suggestions I would make is to add more random sitting spaces. Add more chairs or stools or benches through out the library that more adults can use when they come in with their children.

So I kept 3 books for 4 months and finally returned them overdue, but they did not hesitate to send me to a collection agency immediately charging me $69 in fees. What a shity deal and if I had known better I would never step foot in this place again! What crooks! How can you do that to anyone!
