This place is a great place to read a book or play a computer game. Place includes a very relaxing atmosphere for you to focus on your game or read your book peacefully Place is modern, and clean, and has good selection including new releases. Staff are decent, and friendly.

WORST COMPUTERS EVER!!!! I went in to write a resume for myself & literally was just finishing 2 pages of absolute perfection (which took me over an hour) when their stupid computer decided to randomly shut down & restart...The librarian says it's a glitch in the computer & that I'd have to restart on a different one...NEVER GOING BACK

Went by on a Friday and the place was closed due to a staff meeting. Closing for the entire day before a weekend for a meeting? Sounds like those teacher PD days devoted to day drinking. You have literally one job. Now the onus is on the public to check your website to ensure you're open before bothering to drive over? Any book I reserve never comes from the Airdrie branch, so if you're literally a book distribution site, then the least you could do is put reserved books in the inner foyer for collection. Enjoy your hangovers.

I like this place. You can rest, chat, bring your computer and connect to Internet for free or grab one at the library for 1 hour without membership card. The personal is very friendly and alway try to help you out. You can bring your lunch box and stay all day. Starbucks is just beside. Amazing place to learn, rest and sip a coffee. Thanks Airdrie.

Great selection and helpful staff. They have wonderful programs for kids, free WiFi, lots of desks and computers to work at, and their bathrooms are always clean (important when you have kids).

Not only are the staff amazing, this library has mega books, a place for youngsters, computers to use...the list goes on and on The only drawback, lack of parking so be aware and find parking in front of stores. The journey to your imagination begins when you walk through the door of this wonderful library

I love our local library even though the collection of books/ audios/ everything here is very selected. The fact that they have free kids programs on almost all the time is great for parents like me who need to take their kids somewhere and keep them busy in a productive environment, especially during the summers vacations. The staff is okay to deal with and I've never had any issues.

I love our library and the variety of programs offered. I’ve been in to meet political candidates at a forum, and utilized many baby programs when on mat leave. A great family resource as they can connect you with Community Links and other local programs available. Our little guy loves coming in and playing with the toys now, and the computers are well tailored for kids first learning. You can’t beat the free library card, it’s easy to request material from the network across the province and it’s there quickly. Plus the more I learn the better it gets-streaming music, streaming movies to borrow, interactive kids books apps, and I’m still leaning about perks!

If you love books or need them for school or any reason this is a great place to come. It's quiet,has computers and many different types of books. And for kids every week they have a time you can drop your kids off at and they will have themes like painting,lego,magazine,minecraft and many more.

Came by for some study space and wow! I called before to check if I could come by and the staff that answered the phone was super friendly and helpful. Came in and was able to find a space. It was getting a bit noisey with a section of people near by so a lovely librarian came by and offered me another spot that was quieter and more secluded and an alternative if needed. Super great staff, very tidy and well organized for use. I previously came with my young child for their programs pre-covid and highly recommended once its all back to normal. So glad to have a wonderful work space during these trying times. Thanks library staff you are all so friendly and awesome!!

Libraries should never be this loud. There's usually some quiet chatter and that's fine, but when you've got people talking out loud, and laughing loud when people are clearly trying to work or read, there's a problem. And the staff there seem completely oblivious to this. It is distracting and disrespectful. Throw some parents with their yelling/screaming kids into the mix, and you have an environment that you can barely work in. Otherwise, there's a great selection of books. Very organized, and the people at the front desk are very friendly. If you can't stand the noise, at the least it is a good place to grab a book or two.

The library staffs are not friendly and not willingly to help people. I recommend that you get some volunteers to do that job instead of paying staffs. You can just tell that they are just there for the hours = money= pay cheque! And why are there so many staffs on duty and just sitting / standing around? Waste of resources $!

PEOPLE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO TALK, GATHER AND TALK ON PHONES TOO. CHILDREN SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PLAY AND OK TO MAKE SOME NOISE TOO! The library shouldn't be a dead silence place. For those of you that required to be in dead silence place, please send them home! The staffs need to help people instead of taking sides!

We always come down here with the kids. Their are two separate play areas for todlers and kids. Bench and enough grass area to sit down for a picnic.

The Airdrie Public Library is great. It is always clean, open, and organized. When they don't have what I'm looking for, I can almost always find it in the Marigold interlibrary system and can place a request for it. The clerks are friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that the video games can be checked out for three weeks (as other libraries in the Marigold system only have videogames for one week)

The library needs to SEPARATE THE computer users with quiet room study users. As there are too many people complaining about noise level in the library. The library is no longer a 100% dead silent place, it is a gathering place for kids, babies, children, friends meet up, etc etc etc. Those of you that are looking for 100% dead silence place, please go elsewhere.
