I like going here while my washing machine is out of commission. Being able to do all my laundry in one load is wonderful. A month worth of laundry within a few machines is quite impressive. Granted, I went through more quarters than a geriatric slot machine addict... They have free WiFi too.

Very poor customer service. Staff need training . I had two uncomfortable encounters with staff. Enviornment clean. The laundry need to offer incentives free dry soap. I will be going elsewhere.

Cleanest coin laundry spot I have ever seen. Washers smell good, not damp and musty that leaves your cloths smelling awful. Tidy bathrooms, free wifi that actually works, a table top area, kids space and plenty of outlets to plug in your device. Area is safe and well lit. Much better than the questionable laundry centers in Dallas.

Machines are a bit pricey but they are quick. Then again this is basically one of the only laundromats close to downtown so the area can support that. This is a clean laundromat that also has a washing service at cost. Pretty convenient place to launder clothes planned or last minute.

I really enjoy this place, it's clean and organized. They have free WiFi so I can study and mess around online while waiting for my clothes. They are also next to a dollar store and grocery store so I can knock out there birds with one stone while I wash my clothes I get shopping done. They have a variety of machines and I personally like to throw all my stuff in a 4 load washer for $5.25 and for an extra quarter you get a second rinse.

We've been traveling for a week and needed to do some laundry but didn't want to pay hotel laundry prices - Lafayette Laundry was AWESOME! Clean facility, very friendly staff, WiFi and Ms. Pac Man! Easy to find and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

This laundromat is in a very nice neighborhood so the prices are Chyna up there I think it’s 350 for the big machine 250 for medium and $5 for small dryers are $.75 no matter what size they have full service upfront if you want them to take care of it yeah nothing really special but I just another laundromat.

It's the cleanest laundromat downtown. It is a bit pricey but cheaper than washing in the apartments around here and downtown life is always a little higher. Very professional attendants. Just dont drink the coffee...

I've been there one time - and I will only ever be there that one time. The way the person working treated me, it's just not a place that I want to spend my money. The guy on duty made it seem pretty obvious that they weren't looking to gain new customers. He was clearly over-it, and I was just an interruption to him. Also, according to him, it takes about six days to get shirts and dry cleaning back.

This place was very clean and quite empty. The environment was comfortable and easy to adapt. The staff was professional and very accommodating. I used this facility to get all of our clothes cleaned and dried in the best time and it worked out very well. The huge washers were $8. The huge dryers were $2. I ended up with three huge loads so I spent $30 overall for maybe 11 or 12 loads that would've taken me all day at home to complete. The facility even has change available. The machine only breaks$20, $10 and &5 bills though. I would definitely go back. I actually enjoyed the hour and half time there. I'll rate Lafayette laundromat a 5. I had no complaints. TV and vending machines are available as well.

Here's a list: Quick. Cheap. Clean. Safe. Spacious. Free wifi. Play area. Drinks machines. Flatscreen TVs. Wonderful staff. That's 10 things. Chances are you'd probably settle for 'clean' and 'safe'. Here, you don't have to, because all those incredibly unlikely things come together in one package at Lafayette. I won't be visiting often, because my home in England is several thousand miles from here, but if you ever find yourself with clothes chores to do on the road, going to Lafayette won't just be a necessary experience, it will be a life-affirming one. Yeah, life-affirming. In a laundromat. Isn't the world wonderful?

Ok but a little pricey. And they won't let you decide the amount u want to put in dryers. U have to start at 1 dollar 25 cents. More than I need but they don't give you a choice. You say you give your workers a fair wage and that great but your workers aren't the only ones struggling to survive so when you make this a fixed price when someone doesn't need all that much is not fair to your customers either...

I have used their laundry drop off service twice in last minute situations while my washer is down. My clothes are washed, dried, and folded (yes i hate folding, lol) the same day. They smell so fresh! And I've had nothing but the best service in a timely, efficient, and caring way. Thank you Lafayette Laundry. I am SO willing to drive the 15 minutes because you're the best in the city. Safe location and clean facility too!

This is the only decent laundry around me. The google hours say they are open and the close at 11pm. I'm here now and the attendent says they are closed. What is it opened or closed? I love this place xause I can plan my day around their hours. Now I don't have any clean sheets, towels our clothes for tomorrow the start of my week. This is unacceptable business practices. False advertisement. Very disappointing☹☹☹☹☹

I'm visiting Detroit and found my hotel had no self-serve laundry options. This was the closest laundromat and I was very satisfied with my visit. The location is clean, bright, and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and both attendants on duty greeted me when they first encountered me. The prices are very reasonable and the location provides a bill breaker as well as a change machine. I could not have asked for a better place to visit.

This is the only place my adult daughter will go. She says it the best place in town. She had one bad experience there, with a begger man bothering her, not leaving her alone. He even followed her into the laundromat. She had to go to the super market next door and get the security guard to escort her to her car safely. She was very upset, but she said this never happened there, only that one time back in 2018. She still tells me, that this is the only place I should go, if I need my things washed.

The folding tables are for folding your clean clothes. There was a guy in there with a pizza box eating dinner on one the folding tables like he was at a picnic. The last thing you want is your clean clothes to get smeared with pizza grease . Another table had a lady with her kids toys and pop bottles all over it. Staff need to pay attention to what customers are doing and stop this behavior or else they will lose customers like me.

Staying downtown Detroit for an extended stretch. Hate doing laundry but hate paying $6 for a pair of socks even more at any hotel. This is a super clean, convenient landry, with huge capacity and the one and ONLY laundromat very close to downtown with light shopping nextdoor, so its quick in and out, supersafe, and super clean. Been coming here for months, always leave tips, I dropped off my clothes. Pick them up, came home, and as I’m putting them away I notice big holes on the back side of one of my sweatshirts. It basically destroyed and covered in black stains as if someone mopped the floor with it. No care at all. definitely won’t be returning here and would suggest handling your own laundry if at this place.
