This place is great! Most of these reviews come from the old owners. I live in the area and have been doing my laundry here for over a year. The old owners were not as bad as the reviews state...there are some very dramatic reviews. Very nice people and the older woman just couldn't speak english. However, It has a new owner as of December 2016 and he has cleaned the place up and is a very nice gent! It will soon be a cell phone repair shop as well as laundry. It is a lot cheaper than doing laundry in your building and you can control the drier time by adding as many quarters as you desire. It's nice to support small local business owners!

Washing machines must not serviced. My Gi had huge patches of grime in it, looks worse than when I dropped it off. Will I go back: nope!

The only laundromat I could find in that area. Hardware is mediocre with many machines either out of service, run down, or reserved for the staff. Staff (one guy at the time) is curt and direct while directing me to use specific machines. Not overly friendly but I don’t expect much from these kind of places. The only positive is no tokens or coins are required so you can just pay after wash and dry. Decent enough to get the job done. We were able to throw our clothes in, walk around the neighbourhood, and come back.

Basically went in there Friday to collect my pants that have a belt made of the same material. They had left the belt at their dry cleaning factory (they sub contract off site). I was picking the pants up to wear to work all Easter weekend. When asked where the belt was I was told it was definitely at the factory and they’d get it to me by Tuesday (after the long weekend). At no point did they offer a refund, an apology or the solution of driving to the factory to pick it up that day. They also asked if I had different pants or a different belt to wear that night??? I got home and called the dry cleaner to ask if they’d be able to go and pick up the belt so I’d be able to wear the pants the following day. He obliged and had someone watch the shop for him. I was able to get my belt the next day. This was only after I called and came up with a solution. Pants were cleaned well and I appreciate him going to get the belt but disappointed I had the leave the store and call back to find a solution. Less than great customer service. I will be trying a different dry cleaner in the area before I return. Three stars because he went out of his way to get the pants.

My trousers needed repair, picked them up earlier today, fantastic service. They delivered excellent quality repair and on time as they originally promised. I was very impressed, very nice staff as well, the guy at the till is really a nice guy, I appreciate the good service, keep it up!

New management - excellent service, prompt delivery and at a reasonable price too. Great opening hours 9am-9pm. Also, I had an old quilt to be repaired and they did a phenomenal job, it looks new again! Thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend this place for your dry cleaning and sewing services!!!

Price to alter a blind was confusingly given, when I picked it up the price was described as "that was for each, not the total". Maybe get the price written down and fully confirmed for alteration work. The work however was good and we negotiated a cash price for the confusion.

Place is more brighter and cleaner now under the new management They have a alteration person on site from Tuesday to Friday, which is good for this season . Only suggestion - should have hot coffee during winter .

Very friendly owners and the gentleman was happy to give me a 10% discount for my first time. But there were a few stains, likely wine, that didn't come out of my dry-cleaned dress, and there were some black specks inside that kind of looked like pieces of leaves. I'll go back though.

The boy that runs this place is a very rude punk. If you ask him a question he responded in ignorance. He's got little things posted in how to run the machines. They are old out dated he has to start the machines coins slots don't work if you ask him about it he doesn't respond only to say read the notes. Answers like a little punk. Will never return there it's a place that should be shut down if dealing wit customers is something you don't want to do.

Shrunk both my pants by one size...and no I did not gain weight, in fact I had lost weight! Now they are too tight and don't fit properly. Had my down bed spreads done there and no problems at all. Unfortunately, I will not go back because of my pants.

The owner and his team are polite, thorough and great at what they do! This is a terrific local business that doesn’t just offer solid, affordable dry cleaning - they’re good for the community. They’ll even throw you a few quarters for the meter out front so you don’t have to pay for parking!

I had a very good experience with the drop off service. I had a cream coloured cotton rug that was too big for my home machine and it came back nice and bright. The gentleman stuck to his original quotation even though it turned out the rug had to be in the dryer for hours and hours (Very thick). I will go there again for large washable items such as mattress cover etc.

This laundromat is fabulous: friendly and helpful. I loathe laundry day usually (only because it's such a chore carting all my clothes on my bike:)), but today decided to treat myself to their massage chair while my clothes were washed; at $5 for 15 minutes it would be a bargain at double the price. Yipes, I could get addicted to that chair; it's like being pummeled by a great masseuse with super strong hands. I'm going to take my brother there for just the massage experience. This is a low key, neighborhood type place. Really nice.

as far as self serve washers the machines are outdated and can't get a simple a sweat stain on a collar of my dress shirt for shows $100 of dollars in clothes that had very little dirt and sweat couldn't be washed , used more than the amount needed for soap and clothes and linen didn't even come out smelling fresh ! Will never be returning as this is two out of two times that the washers couldn't even clean a t shirt ! Place needs an update on washers

Can't speak for the dry cleaning but this is the worst coin laundry I've ever been to. Very unfriendly lady that runs the place. Expensive. Half the machines are out of order. She had to use a screwdriver to start the dryer for me. Worst of all, my clothes smelled worse than when they went in.

Have used this place since living in Vancouver, prices for dry cleaning are reasonable and so too are the machines. Efficient business and always an follow up call if you have clothes to collect.

The attendant is a bit abrupt and friend had his close in a dryer that was not heating so we spent an extra 30 minutes there waiting for his clothes to be dried in a second dryer

I usually do my own laundry at my campus (UBC), but there were some funny stories about some old Chinese lady that runs this place and who is just as insane as the laundromat itself. So finally I went after having a really bad day, I felt I needed some comic relief to cheer me up. I am pleased to say neither her or her laundromat did not disappoint. One less thing to cross of my bucket list before I die. This place is classic.

Absolutely amazing. I was hopeless and left Van without picking up my laundry. I contacted Hi Lite and they held it until I returned. They were incredible, didn't even charge me extra. Clothes are obviously extremely clean and neatly folded. 11/10 experience. Great communication from Hi Lite aswell. Definitely bring your laundry here.
