This is a horrible store for those with ADHD like I have. Lol! That, as well, a fresh paycheck. Lots of great bargains. The staff is always friendly unless it's Christmas, and will sometimes ask if I need help in finding what I'm looking for. Also, you can spot a shoplifter every few minutes or so. Makes for some exciting shopping!

I was very dissapointed when i went to the store and 3 items out of 4 were anywhere from 1.5 to 5.50 i proceeded to ask why it was when they call themselves a dollar store same as other stores who instead sell merchandise for 1$ the person at the cash became immediately agressive amd the manager almost beat his chest saying I AM THE MANAGER (God) when i asked who was his suppervisor he refused, i said fine they proceeded to ask for security (obviously scare tactics) and i decided to speak with them as to have them as a witness when i finally found the owner or manager

Don't be fooled items are more than 1 dollar. If you need souvenirs they have shirts hats and a few other items. Take off 30% if you live in the states. Prices are Canadian dollars.

To start this off,I'd like to say,the staff are great! They are helpful,knowledgeable,and quite honest on their products and services. They have a wide range of products,which I'm glad they include,household items and household cleaning products. Top this off with being only a block from my house and I've got to give them a 5 star rating. Thank you for running your business the way all businesses should be run!!

Nicely displayed items and clean store. I find some items to be quite overpriced though, considering it's supposed to be a Dollar store of sorts. Items range from two dollars to over twenty so you're never certain if what you are looking for is affordable. Staff are nice and helpful.

Though products are not of excellent quality but practical & usable sold at a very affordable price. A wide range of selection I'm sure profit is marginal only to be covered by volume sales. Should it break it can be easily replaced by another. Besides animate products they also offer food like pasta, cans of soup, bread, candy, pop, juices and much much more. One can also find play toy like items suitable for children generally made in 3rd world countries.

Sub-par dollar store. The aisles are messy, crowded and disorganized. Staff seems overwhelmed with stock and trained poorly. Only acknowledgement you receive as a customer is when you step up to the counter to pay. The whole place looks dated, shabby and is definitely not accessible to anyone using a walker or wheelchair.

A note that The Great Cdn Dollar Store does not take debit cards for purchases less than $2.00. I never carry cash, so wasn't impressed.
