However, what happened just beyond my expectation. With enthusiastic and detailed introduction from the sales department, a brand new X5 BMW was quickly locked by me and my family. We both excited and can't wait to drive it home. Meanwhile, we also took a look at Mercedes nearby, compared to Mercedes, BMW's powerful sporty performance and outstanding steering feedback won my heart. With the assistance from the sales department, we prepared all the needed material in advance. Stepped into one of the financial manager office named Josh to get the order approved, and my nightmare occurred. Concerned of my budget, I declined the financial manager's suggestion to purchase extra warranties like tire and rim, and total lose as well. The financial manager started to behave widely different than before. he started to question my background including my purpose of purchase, my major, my job, my nationality, my fmaily, their current location, etc. Besides, I was totally sacred by his irritable mood since he started tearing papers in front of me, threw my ID on my face after print, and kept asking me signing my signature and initial without explanation. At that moment, I just realized I might not satisfy his need and he can't earn more from this purchase. What's more, with the help from a friendly insurance agent, my car insurance was settled smoothly, but I've been told I should have some file from the financial manager like receipt. I double checked twice with her and she said those files are absolutely provided from the financial manager, but he said nothing will be provided when I came back to his office. Before I came to BMW Victoria, I truly believed they are friendly and we are welcomed. However, the truth is you better prepare extra thousands dollars to feed the financial manager needs and make him happy first, and pray for youself you might get all the purchase receipt you should have and hopefully you will not see his horriable attitude torward you, and get you ass out of him quickly before he question you everything like a police. I will also report this situation in BMW service in BMW customer satisfaction report.

i was interested in a car I saw online at Victoria BMW, I made a quick enquiry on line as to some of the features this car had. I received a response very quickly and all my questions were answered. We discussed price and after going back and forth settled on a price that was better than I had imagined. My salesman Daniel really went to bat for me and got me the car of my dreams in the price that I could afford. I don't live in Victoria so he made all the arrangements to pick us up, at the Swartz Bay ferry terminal, in a gorgeous new BMW, chauffeured us to the dealership, and presented me and my wife with the unveiling of the car upon entering the store.. Very nice touch by the way!!! The paper work was handled fast and efficiently, and the car was way way more than I expected. Its always a bit of a risk buying a $70k car, sight unseen, from someone you have no idea about, but, VICTORIA BMW went above and beyond to earn my business. Had been planning to buy a vehicle from this dealership for months, but experienced very negligent attitude by the staff. Total lack of care, arrogance and unprofessionalism. After visiting this dealership for the last time end of August, I was incredibly disappointed, but it was clear to me they are not doing anything to find a vehicle that will meet lender's requirements. Bank's approval was valid for 2 weeks, they didn't even bother to call or email me to let me know they don't have a suitable vehicle in stock. After my last visit I went straight to Audi dealership where a saw brand new vehicle that I liked, got financing though Audi the same day and can't be happier with my new car. After my experience with BMW Victoria I will never come back. In response to Mr. Goodman: absolutely not true, not even one option was offered to me during this whole time. If I wasn't emailing Adam and Ruben myself about certain vehicles that I noticed on your website no one was reaching out or following up with me at all. Not once since May (aside from a few emails I had to send myself). Can you ask your team to give an example of at least one vehicle they offered me? Please don't try to tell me that my demands were too high, I was open to wide variety of options including Mini Cooper, but the only one you had in stock that would meet lenders requirements was sold to someone else. No one even reached out to me to say this is an option you should consider. My complaint is about lack of communication and honestly. I was given false promise that your dealership will find a suitable vehicle, there was a 2 week window (and months before that), I was waiting, without any communication from your team. Someone from your office should have contacted me before the deadline and honestly said "sorry, unfortunately we don't have anything in stock and won't be able to help you at this time". I've been waiting and waiting, up to this day no one reached out, bank's deadline has expired long time ago. Thankfully it turned out that things are way simplier with Audi, I got into a car that significantly exceeded my expectations within a day. Mr. Goodman, I guessed your email and sent you an expanded story of what actually happened. On the other hand I'm thankful, due to inactivity of your sales team, I was forced to contact another dealership and ended up with a great vehicle I wasn't even hoping for. Overall I'm happy with the end result but won't recommend your dealership to others based on my personal experience.

One of THE WORST car related experiences I have had. An update then. It's funny that the general manager responded by saying "loaner cars leave the place quite quickly". Well I returned the loaner when store was closing, and I called the next morning immediately when the store opened. Plus, when I called in your people told me to wait. No one said the loaner was out. The fact that you were looking for excuses is not cool. Owning your mistakes might work better. Again, at this place, they only want to sell cars, NO ONE is willing to help you if you have any problems at all, that is how I felt anyway. I had a service appointment, walked in, service advisors are hiding behind a corner. One female advisor saw me but dis not say anything at all. I had to wander around to get some salesman’s attention. By the time I sat down to talk to the advisor, his voice was like, dead. No enthusiasm at all. He suggested things to replace but without mentioning the labour rate and part price at all. An oil change and micro filter ended up costing me $600. That is still fine because I should have asked before agreeing with that. While the car got serviced, I drove a loaner. After returning the loaner car I found my house key was lost. So I called the dealer office to help me check the loaner car see if the house key was in it. It should have been a 2 minute thing, but no one wanted to help. It took 2.5 hours and 3 phone calls to get someone to check and let me know the key was not in there. So disappointed.

We bought a used Mercedes from Victoria BMW but had a small window to pick up the car and to head home. We were promised a number of things that that would happen once we made it back to Kamloops, but it took more than two months for me to conclude our business. The sales person, who was very knowledgeable and initially quite helpful, turned out to be uncommunicative and not at all detail oriented once the car left the lot. I had to write numerous emails and to make several phone calls to the dealership to secure what was promised. I want to thank the sales/lease team at Mini Victoria for the exceptional customer care and education they provided me while I tried to make a decision on buying or leasing a new car. Ruben was so supportive throughout the whole process from the first text message, setting up a test drive, to the last one. Ruben was extremely patient with me as I waffled back and forth about a) What I wanted in the way of a car – brand new or used b) How would I pay for it - lease vs finance c) How much I was willing to spend. Even after a very lucrative finance plan was presented . . . I changed my mind and decided to go the route of a used car with lower kms if it could be found. My heart was set on a Mini, but an amazing BMW came on the lot that was within my price range AND had lower kms – I was working and could not get to the dealership to look at it. Not a problem, Ruben pre-arranged a test drive at my house the next day. Talk about service! Unfortunately, that car (although a stellar deal) was too big for me . . . I took my BMW to these guys because the car only had 2 of the 6 forward gear that would work. They did the diagnostics and in the end told me to replace the transmission since they "don't work on transmissions" plus charged me over $300. I took the car over to another great BMW shop and they replaced some filter or something for $1500 rather than the nearly $20k Victoria BMW wanted to replace my transmission. The other shop did a great job and its working just fine now Extremely disappointed. I guess if my car needs an oil change they would rather just sell me a brand new motor! Beware of these guys I won't ever take my car to these guys again and when its time for a new BMW I won't be shopping here either

This review is for the service department - sales has been excellent. I was quite disappointed for the way the advisor and shop handled my recent service visit for inoperable trunk. The quote for repair/recommended services was in my opinion high on both the parts & labour component estimates. I confirmed this with another reputable BMW repair shop in town, and saved $730 in parts (the same parts as quoted by BMW Victoria) and $599 in labour costs by getting the car serviced elsewhere. My gut was right in that its highly inflated at BMW Victoria dealership. When I declined service they returned the vehicle to me with my trunk stuck open - worst than when I brought it in. This whole experience lost my trust in this dealer repair shop, advisor, and the $360 in diagnostics fees I paid to give me an inflated quote and return my 4-series in worse condition.

Unfortunately I don’t have a positive review.. here’s why. I tried to book a service appointment online and the system was down. After three phone calls and being put on hold for over 5 min each time I decided to go down to the dealership to make the appointment. My appointment was for May 18th 11am. When I arrived (I drove from Duncan btw) I was told oops sorry your appointment was May 25th 11am and I should have got an email confirmation. They didn’t ask me for my email when I booked in person so how could I get a confirmation? I booked May 18th not 25th so clearly the error was done by the booking agent. The apology was super lame...I was told ‘sorry nothing we can do’. My reply was ‘really?’ This is very basic that if you make an error you correct it. I feel the attitude was ‘can’t help so bye’. They swiftly cancelled the incorrect appointment time and gave me my keys back and virtually walked away. I had gone over to sales to speak with a manager and was told ‘no managers on weekends’. Clearly at this dealership money talks and service isn’t a priority.

Worst customer service ever… I’m not sure if it was a money grab or what during the pandemic but I needed to get some work done to my car after getting to Victoria. I took it to the dealer to get my car looked at and after their “diagnosis” (if you can call it that) it would have cost me $7500 for everything they quoted and none of the things they quoted was for the reason I brought it in… The next time I brought it in was for warranty work on my brakes and they wouldn’t even have a look at it to see what was wrong… Then they have their “VIP” sale which is after you’ve been there and they have your car on file they have someone call you asking if your still driving your car and just straight up ask if they can “have it”. Save your time and money and go to someone who actually cares about the car you drive.

We recently purchased a 2019 X5 from BMW Victoria. There isn’t one thing I would have changed regarding our experience. The service we received from our salesman Ruben was amazing from start to finish. He answered all our questions and then also pointed out some really cool features we didn’t even know about. Ruben was very knowledgeable on the vehicles he sells. The day we picked up our vehicle we felt like we were everyone’s first priority. The car was waiting in the showroom with a red bow on the hood! Everyone we dealt with; Ruben, Adam (financing), Jack (Sales Manager) and the Insurance agent (from HUB) ensured we understood all our options but weren’t pushy at all in regards to what extras we could purchased or choose against. We did our homework and expected that being on the island, vehicle pricing would be higher, not at all! The vehicle price was very competitive and the trade in value we got was also fair as well. Ruben spent hours helping us set up our new vehicle and making sure it was ready for us to drive off in. Since picking up the vehicle, Ruben has contacted us numerous times to make sure we didn’t have any questions. I explained to him recently that I was nervous to try the park assist for the first time, he offered to make an appointment with me so that he can be in the car while I try it. This is by no means required of him. The fact that he took the time weeks after I purchase the car to ensure I’m comfortable with the vehicle, shows how devoted he is to his customers to guarantee they are happy and comfortable with their new purchase. It was around 5 p.m. Friday October 21st when we arrived at BMW's showroom, after finding a 5-series vehicle on their website earlier in the week. We soon found the vehicle we were looking for, and shortly thereafter sales consultant Isaac Nyack introduced himself to us. We'll, we couldn't have been more impressed with Isaac's easygoing manner, pleasant attitude and product knowledge. I had a number of questions about the car, most of which Isaac could answer, the few he could not, only took him a few minutes to research and come back with the information. We agreed to do a test drive and they asked me to come back in a few hours. A few minutes before the agreed time, I received a text saying they had given it to another customer. What is wrong with your dealership ? The amount of disrespect is ridiculous. I will never make a purchase from this place and make sure my social circle doesn't either.

I’m not normally one to write a review on such a topic but I feel like upper management should be aware how the HR manger is treating the general public. I had an interview with the HR manager and also sales manager. HR manager was 20 minutes late to the interview and no apology given. At that point the HR proceeded to dissect my resume, belittle the work I’ve done (I’ve been in management for years and have two degrees). While the HR manager was asking me a few questions on my resume halfway through a response I was cut off by her and said “she had to go”. I’m quite shocked at the lack of professionalism on part of the HR management team from such a self proclaimed top dealer group. I would never work for such an organization with such a lack of respect for others. I hope either management reads this or one of the big name partners so action can be taken to address this HR manager’s inappropriate behaviour.

The new attention to detail, attitude, level of service and commitment to excellence has been phenomenal! The car purchase experiences have been low stress and fun, as have accessorizing the cars with performance parts at the dealerships (BMW M Performance parts bin or after market parts and custom rims) ... they made it all happen and work! No issue or detail has been too small or overlooked! Service has also been wonderful, on time, good value and done to a very high standard! They even have made follow-up care calls to ensure the cars have been safe and no issues post service! NOT SOMETHING WE CAN SAY ABOUT THE GM DEALERSHIPS IN TOWN when we had GM cars!! We had been a GM family for many years, but after poor treatment and attitude from the local GM dealerships, a phone call to the owner re a service issue on 2 occasions at the GM dealership with no resolution or apology (We even had them come out to the malahat to pick up the suburban to fix their error as now it was unsafe to drive once we got it home (didn't balance rims after winter tires mounted - bill was near $4000 for all the work we had done), or another occasion where the fuel filter was not properly attached when they recommended to replace the old one and the fuel leaked out all over our garage .. next day after having it towed to the dealer they made me wait 4 hours for the 15 minute fix - lost half a day of work - they offered a $52 free oil change, like that is what I bill in 5 hours). We have now switched to all German cars ... a funny thing is on one occasion I drove one of our German cars to that GM dealership and the service manager came out to open my door and ask what he can assist with - I pointed at our old suburban they had just refused to help my wife with the heavy baby seats from their loaner car they moved the seats to at drop off (she has a bad back due to 2 car accidents where she had been hit) ... Very poor level of service and attitude! Similar issues re service with our other GM car we had. They have even been welcoming to my now 8 and 6 year olds who like looking at the cars on the showroom floor. The boys have even been to every open house and Garage sale/BBQ and always treated well. AT VICTORIA BMW YOU WILL FIND, IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, A VERY TOP NOTCH TEAM FROM SALES TO SERVICE TO PARTS, WITH AMAZING ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CUSTOMER CARE ... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I went to them service guy from BMW Victoria test drive and said me you guys don't drive much and due to that it have corrosion on the disc because of that it is squealing and few more excuses which doesn't make any sence. he said i can buff the discs but that gonna cost you $400-$500. brand new car under warranty doesn't cover the discs. My wife drives this car on daily basis. 100s of new cars sitting on your lots for months and years what about them? those cars are also sitting in lot and doesn't drive, disc breaks will for sure have corrosion on them. I had same problem with my FORD 2015 Mustang GT performance Pack which just have 19000kms in 3 years and breaks were squealing. i just when to service once and they buffed my discs of no cost because car was under warranty but noise was still there. I said them car is under warranty and they put new Discs under warranty and squealing noise never came back. I guess BMW service department should learn from FORD Service department.

Sharing on behalf of my father, Jim, who had a frustrating experience when he took his BMW in for servicing last week. One of the reasons he had to bring his vehicle in for servicing was for a recall. He brought the vehicle in on Thursday and was later called to see if they could keep the vehicle overnight. It was apparent that the vehicle hadn’t been worked on that day and could have been brought in the next day. It would have been helpful to know as my parents had no vehicle to use during this time. When Friday rolled around, my dad waited around all day to hear when his vehicle would be ready for pickup. My dad had to call twice to see if the car was ready for pickup and it wasn’t until the second call when he learned that the car was ready. It would have been nice if someone had called him to let him know. Also, the Manager tried to reach my dad to apologize and when he did, he offered an apology but also several excuses. The call could have simply just been an apology without reasons for all the delays and poor service. We have usually brought the vehicle in for servicing at this location as the BMW was purchased here and we appreciate being loyal, however we are going to think twice about servicing my dad's vehicle at this dealership again as the prices were astronomical and the customer service was less to be desired.

I have a 2002 Mini, which had headlights that were not bright enough for my old eyes. The helpful service people (Geori) suggested I get other lights that might be brighter from Lordco and they would install them. When I returned with the lights Anthony and an assistant ( sorry, I don’t remember his name) installed the new lights in the parking lot, as well as changing the brake light, which was out. I don't usually write reviews but I feel like these guys deserve a shout out. I was having starting problems with my 2007 Cooper S and begrudgingly took it to the dealership to have it scanned. I usually like to do the work myself and was hesitant to bring it in because of past issues with repair staff replacing parts instead of troubleshooting. They found that the problem was the HPFP and replaced it under warranty. Yesterday, I had my first ever visit to a BMW dealership (BMW Victoria) after recently purchasing a pre-owned 323i. I was met by Daniel the service rep who explained what would be included in the service check I'd requested. As it would take some time, Daniel offered to arrange for a taxi to and from the dealership, should I not want to wait there. I declined and was taken to a lovely waiting area and offered a selection of coffees, pastries, newspaper, etc. The car service was completed sooner than expected with the results fully explained. To my relief, I was advised that no work was required at this time. Also, at my request, Daniel reset two settings on my car which I did not know how to complete. My car was returned sparkling clean, inside and out. This has to be the best dealership experience I've ever encountered. Thanks Daniel!

We came to BMW Victoria 2 days ago in hopes to find a first car for my daughter and from the moment we got through the doors we treated like absolute gold. Not only did Ruben and David take the intimidation out of this big decision for my daughter and I, they took the time to generously educate us at every step with the options in front of us. They catered to our needs, gave us tons of time to test drive cars, patiently answered our questions and made the whole process magical and fun!! Ruben even made a trip to pick us up on “the big day” so we could easily get the car home and planned a special reveal photo/video opp (the car was detailed impeccably, like brand new, with a bow) plus gave my daughter a thorough tutorial of the car to help her feel confident driving it. Best of all they matched my daughter with her dream car and manager David went above and beyond to make the numbers possible for us to say yes to it! Business manager Adam was also a delight to work with to close the deal and a special thanks to Nathan for taking such great care of us and preparing the car! It’s actually like we have a new “car” family that both of us will 100% go back and visit. I’m grateful for the ease and flow of this car buying experience, the superb quality of car and team we have come to know and the lifelong memory we will never forget!

Been coming here for 6 years now, but have dealt with GAIN since the Victoria launch of the Porsche 991 at Church & State Winery in 2012. Bought my first BMW elsewhere, but had it safetied and plated here, which they did for free - and then invited me to a track day! Bought my next car here back in 2016 - my DREAM car, and the lowest-priced and lowest-mileage example in the country. 4 years' warranty, and financed in a way I could make work. They made it happen and have taken great care of me since - Saturday car washes, invitations to track days, thinking of all the little details when the car needs something. When my 4 years' coverage was about to expire, and I was about to leave town for 50 days (military COVID isolation), they inspected my car in order to get me another 4 years' coverage, and stored my car while I was out of town (thank you JOSH). When I came back, I had a transmission leak - called my new warranty company for the claim, and they said they needed the inspection report. Turns out the transmission was leaking back then, and the Service Dept didn't pass it on to Josh or myself... Mistakes happen, what matters is how you recover. JOSH took it upon himself to communicate with both warranty companies (Coverage One before, SecureDrive after), and ensure that the required repairs would be covered under my old policy, which has a deductible of $200 instead of $500. Car goes in next week. Aside from this, I have never had a bad experience here - and what could have been one was turned around by JOSH, his dedication to customer satisfaction, and willingness to make it right. They will take care of you, as will GAIN as a whole - always impressed by their attention to detail and focus on the VIP experience for every client.

I have purchased many vehicles from the Gain Automotive group but my latest experience at BMW/Mini was amazing! I wanted to get out of my X1 lease early and downsize into a Mini Countryman. So I dealt with Abhay at Bmw who was excellent. Abhay took me through the process and always got back to me with any answers within 5 minutes. This is something that can't be said of many dealership today. As well, the Manager Arsalan was very accommodating and flexible. Before I knew it they had found a customer for my vehicle and even upgraded me into a Mini Countryman S for not much more. Josh in the finance office was also excellent taking less than 10 minutes to complete my transfer and new lease. Overall the staff at BMW Victoria are excellent. I will definitely be back again and recommend them to friends and family!
