I purchased a sweater which had a defect in the fabric and Aritizia refused to exchange because I had removed the tags. I had the receipt and my exchange was attempted within the two-week time limit. The sweater was visibly defective. Aritzia refused to exchange nonetheless. I understand companies have to have policies, however, when they are uncompromising, illogical and rigid I'm afraid that's when I'm lost as a customer. Before this experience I really loved Aritizia. However, I gave the company every opportunity to rectify this issue, and I've been stonewalled. I'm truly disappointed and I will no longer shop at Aritizia at any point in the future. There are plenty of other stores which carry the same brands and have reasonable return policies.

Awful customer service. I bought a scarf there and instantly regretted my decision after my purchase, but my mom had already taken off the tag. We went back into the store within 3 minutes and a lady claiming to be the manager stated that she was already giving us an exception by providing us with a store card. We explained that we just spent $800 at the store and we really do not wish to keep the scarf, and she insisted that we could not return it. Fine. I understand your store policies, I will respect it. While she was setting up the card, I suggested that they verbalize their policy to customers to avoid future confusion. She replied saying, "We follow policies and by law we are not required to verbalize any policies that have already been written on paper." I said this is not a matter of law but simply adequate customer service. She then continues to say that what I have suggested is not necessary for them to follow then sarcastically said, "but we'll keep your suggestion in mind." Uh? You just said you are not obligated under law to heed my suggestions, and you therefore won't. I respect your policies despite being angered at the already poor customer service. Is it so hard to be respectful while I voice my opinion on your store's service? Specifically yours? This is not the behaviour I would expect to see from a manager. I used to be a huge fan of aritzia, but never have I encountered such awful service. Highly disappointed.

Good service and clean store the first time I went in. I was buying my wife a coat and an employee helped me right from the get go. They answered all my questions and even tried the coat on for me. I think this is high quality clothing and locally owned in Vancouver. A little rude on boxing day when i went back to get the sale price for the coat i bought a few days prior

As a 60+ person I never expect to find items in this store I have always associated with a younger female consumer. Recently I was shopping for a new winter coat and found one online from Aritzia. I took time to look at their website and was impressed on the story on how the company started (Canadian) and the quality of their products. I called the Victoria store who didn’t have it in stock but offered to bring it in from Vancouver. 2 days later I received an email saying my coat has arrived. I stopped in on my way to another appointment and noticed another one in the store that interested me. I spoke to a salesperson who introduced me to a Fashion Advisor, Alyssa ( I understand there is more than 1 with that name) and explained I didn’t have time to try on the ordered coat but saw another on the store and I would return tomorrow. She said she would pick out other similar styles and colours and put them away until the next day. She let me know when she would be in the next day. I returned with my husband and had a couple of different options, choosing one of the store items instead. I was so impressed with the knowledge about fitting and professional service you wouldn’t normally expect in this type of store. Alyssa let the person at the service desk about my exchange and refund so I didn’t have to explain. I inquired about what options were available if the customer went on sale the following week for Black Friday and was told they would refund and repurchase at the lower price. I signed up for their emails when I got home and yesterday morning received a notice about their Black Friday offers. I called the store and was told I could do it that day and how. When I went in the store I experienced and observed the same professional service being offered to me and other customers. I know this is a chain but they are a Canadian company and deserve our local shopping dollars.

I cant shop here again. After the COVID situation started I badly needed money so I returned an item to them which was a week late and they wouldnt refund me. I dont need a $200 gift card for clothes right now. Would have been nice if they'd shown some compassion given the current situation.

Specific to this location: Good customer service and selection as far as an Aritzia goes. As far as Aritzia in general: I think they have a really good selection of new, in-fashion styles. However; the clothing is often far overpriced for the quality. I refuse to shop at Aritzia anymore. I bought a pair of $90 joggers only to have them completely fall apart on me in under a year. Another sweater I bought for $90 as well, looked absolutely terrible after washing it once (following the instructions; washed on cold and gentle cycle). TNA is a good quality brand, otherwise the clothing is not worth the money.

They rlly need mirrors in each changing room. All they have is one giant mirror. I feel insecure about going out and checking myself in the mirror so hopefully for there will be mirrors in the new aritzia at Mayfair. One of the workers accidentally went into my changing room luckily I was in my clothes. Wouldn’t recommend for ppl on a budget all though few leggings are pretty cheap for what you think the price would be. Clothes are really nice. Lots of selection and different brands.

I had the absolute best customer experience of my life at this store. I took my almost 1 year old with me as I tried to find some clothes that weren’t just “mum clothes” that would make me feel put together again. It was awful as I didn’t know what to get and just got frazzled. The lovely Robyn picked up on this as I was leaving the changing room and suggested I come back next week and she would gather me some clothes before I arrived and make sure I had the big cubicle so I could fit the stroller in. I came back the next week and she had completely nailed my style (and size!). Her and all the staff were so welcoming and helpful, I left with some gorgeous things and feeling confident and so happy. this happened awhile ago but i felt i needed to share. Normally i had an alright experience in here, but i came in and all the girls immediately followed me around and the moment i picked something up they offer to take it from me, and i do enjoy when workers offer to start me a change room when i have a few items but this was excessive. When i decided to try on my items the lady told me that they had to lock up my stuff later i watched her allow 3 older ladies keep their purses and their purses were larger then mine. I then noticed that one of the girls kept looking in my change you as if she thought i was doing something. After feeling completely ashamed of how i was treated and felt so disrespected i left. As someone who has been shopping at this store for years, i wont be going back

I had an amazing experience here with the employee Mikayla(?). I was on the hunt for a super puff, although it was out of stock, she went above and beyond and searched the entire store and back room for the coat I was looking for. She also tried to order from the warehouse. Although I did not get it in the end, I was so pleased with her service, and how kind she was!

This store in Victoria needs to make sure that customers know by looking which areas or aspects of the store are closed to the public or not to be use because of COVID-19 safety measures. It needs improvement, they are not checking people nor keeping social distancing, somebody should keep an eye to advise customers to please follow safety protocols.

-Overpriced considering that the quality is not so different from any SPA brand -No mirror in the fitting rooms(so that you have to walk out and SA can tell you how awesome you look in the new item) -You buy 10% off sale items, you only get gift card when it doesn't work out. Considering the fact that you don't get a chance to try on something when you shop online, this doesn't make any sense to me. So you might as well just shop only regular price items Otherwise, staffs are friendly and new store looks beautiful.

Unfortunately basic customer service is not a priority at this location, even though the employees make commission on their sales! On multiple occasions that I’ve visited, the employees don’t make eye contact or say hello. When I went to try something on, the employee was clearly displeased to offer a change room. Though the clothing is good quality, it is relatively expensive compared to other chain stores that produce clothing of similar quality. Not to mention the sizing was unrealistic- though I am typically a small in a great majority of clothing stores, I could not fit into a large for this store.

I am a frequent shopper at the Aritzia in Mayfair Mall, Victoria BC. I wanted to give the most amazing feedback to two of their employees: Melanie and Robyn. Every time I step foot into that store I go right to them (or they come right to me) and they help me out with my shopping experience. Not only are they friendly, but they are extremely knowledgeable with the clothes and fashion. When I need a going out outfit, they know what will fit my body, and what will be most faltering on me and I LOVE that. As a size 12/14, I am your top size at Aritzia. Some women might find that difficult but when I come in, Robyn and Melanie make me feel like a goddess. I wouldn't be able to pick out these clothes on my own just by looking at them on a hanger. These girls know how to rock a "plus size" body and they look good doing it! They deserve all the praise :) I will continue to shop at the Mayfair Aritzia thanks to girls like Melanie and Robyn. I also LOVE the brand new addition to the store, it's beautiful!

Look no further for all your fashion needs. It's one of the only places I shop in Victoria! Amazing selection in-store, and if necessary a simple online order for different sizing and colour. And a HUGE shout out to Robin who is the bright light in this busy location. I can always count on her for a positive attitude and needed style advice. She's amazing.

This is my favourite branch of Aritzia and I always visit when I'm in town. The staff here is uniformly much nicer than other locations in the NW and I find the layout of this store easier to navigate. This brand can be pricey but I find certain pieces worth it because I wear them so much...occasionally one finds a piece that's not well made, but the hoodies and leggings are well constructed of good materials and take the beating I give my clothes. Be sure to check this mall's hours before going - the store is great, but the mall is a little odd.

This is a new review. Things have improved a great deal? Reason why I have added 2 stars to my review. Mel is doing a great job running the store whole Hayley is on mat leave. As a matter of fact the store has now a very relaxed and efficient feel to it. Great ladies. Great clothes. I have to say....I need to agree with the last review. This place was the best store in town to shop at. Lately something has shifted. Staff is lacking attention and care. The store feels not as organized. I can't put my finger on it. The store manager is nice and I am sure she is on it.

Terrible customer service. Went into exchange today and it was very busy. When I got to the end of the till where they do exchanges, the associate asked me couple things that I could not hear clearly. With masks and plexi, of course I understood and asked again what she needed. She then rolled her eyes and said “well if you dont have the receipt I have to give you a store credit”. I asked her I wanted to order another size and she made no eye contact and proceeded to ask me for more info like she was going out of her way to make an exchange happen for me. Finally at the end of the transaction she dropped the receipt right in front of my hands just as I was about to grab it from her. Never had such a horrible experience from Aritzia.

The girls and guy that work here are all really great. I avoided shopping at most of the Aritzia locations in Vancouver because I found the staff to be overwhelming. An employee would come up to me and ask how they can help and as they were leaving literally another one would come up and ask the same question. They seem to have a much better system at this location so they aren’t bombarding their clientele. They also take the time to remember your name and the kinds of items you usually purchase which i think is really considerate and makes a big difference.

Great Customer Service! Rebecca is 10/10 in customer service. She makes my shops easy. I go in normally with a list in my head of what I want (after I review the websites new arrivals) and she helps me pull all the items. I know my size in the clothing they offer, but I like to see and feel items before purchase. Seeing a few negative reviews about customer service… I have shopped here and at other Aritzias for years and have NEVER had customer service issues. Keep doing what you’re doing girls! I always enjoy my experience and Rebecca makes my seasonal wardrobe update a breeze!

The staff basically ignored me and while I noticed a lot of other shoppers were asked if they needed any help or how they were doing while in the dressing rooms not a single employee asked me :/ It was a pretty strange experience to say the least. I think i’ll just stick to ordering online from now on.

I found the store to be over-priced and unfriendly. There were only two other people in the store, when I was there. I spent a considerable amount of time in the store, looking at all of their items, and despite the fact that the staff weren't busy helping anyone, they never approached me to welcome me, or to see if I needed any help. Between the prices, and the staff, I was unimpressed with the store.

One of the staff at the Aritzia Victoria was awful...doesn't know how to satisfy a ustomer at all. I buy most of my clothes at Aritzia but today I had the worst experience ever. It seems like the Victoria staff is getting worse and they don't know how to arrange the items in such a way that would wow their possible customers and dresses or tops that are on display are crumpled.

Love the clothing, but awful customer service. The staff is stuck up and rude, which is why I do all my shopping online, but that seems to be going down hill as well. I bought an item during the sale, that was defective, so i ended up having to repurchase the item again at full price. They didnt give me a refund. It’s their fault for sending me a faulty item. Sale or not. Pitiful policies considering how much I spend at this store, I expected better.

I no longer shop at Aritzia Victoria as I have experienced the worst customer service there. The staff there are very selective in whom they greet and whom they treat well. This includes the sales/store manager. Vancouver has the best Aritzia stores and the staff there are super helpful and friendly.

From time to time I buy pieces here. Good clothes, no question. But if you are over 50 expect to be ignored.This has happened so many times now, I decided to post. Last time I went specifically looking to buy a pricey pair Citizen Jean's (new Victoria store). Not a single staffer helped me. When I finally got someone to open a fitting room no one even came back to check on me - an all time low. I was shocked and left the store. No one noticed lol.

I love this store despite the prices. Why? Because it seems they are the only store that sells good quality, basic sweaters in victoria. Every other place only seems to sell sweaters that are either too thin, too stiff, too short, too long, writing on it, sparkles, jewels, spikes, pirate sleeves, too wide, too tight, frills, cut off shoulders, cut off backs, super wide necks, or patterns. Aritzia has all these, plus the basics. Seriously, what happened to the plain, comfy sweater? Great quality as well, so money does go a long way (just wash it properly).

Over many years I have shopped in Aritzia in many different cities, the Victoria store is by FAR the worst customer service I have ever seen. Love the clothes but basically you're on your own in that store. Most of the employees are too into themselves to even awknowledge your existence. Wouldnt recommend shopping here whatsoever. You're better off ordering online. You'll get more help there.

Terrible experience. I came in on recommendation looking for a specific item of clothing. There were more employees than customers in the store, and yet it was like pulling teeth to get help from anyone. When I asked for an item in a specific size, that was actually obviously WAY too large for me, they didn't advise me to try another size, they just said it was out of stock. They also didn't mention that I could probably find it online. I've shopped at Aritzia many times over the years, and to be honest the experience is never great, but in a time when I needed some extra help, IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. ????‍♀️ 100% don't recommend. I would normal try to make my review more well rounded by pointing out something positive about my experience, but I can't think of a single thing other than it was nice that my partner had somewhere to sit while he waited.

Worst customer service, will not shop there again. Also, cash grab during COVID - a 10 day return policy that is only noted in small print on the back of their receipts or on their website. Going into return a purchase 4 days after the 10 day period I was forced, rudely, to get a gift card. I had assumed a 30 day return policy like most retailers, and am only rarely going to the mall due to the current public health order. Just all around a disappointing and rude experience in an extremely over priced store.

The store has nice clothes but a very short return policy (10 days for money back). Luckily the staff are very friendly and usual notify you of the policy when you are making your purchase. The sizing is very weird also, you can be an XXSmall shirt size and have medium sized pants that feel to small.

Best store in Victoria. The staff is amazing. Everybody is helpful....Nicole, Robyn, Hailey, Kelsie, Natalie, Rebecca and more...I have been a client of Aritzia well before they came to Victoria. Our store is the best...the customer service is outstanding...!. I only wish they would bring more trendy pieces like they have in the mainland....but i can still order them so ....not a biggy. Thank you for being so wonderful!
