Clean, reliable machines.

could be cheaper, but the machines always seem to work and its never jam packed full.

I arrived at the laundry one morning just before 8 AM, to find the door locked. Upon calling the owner, I was informed that it would take him some time to readjust and get down to the location. So much for laundry that day. Later that day, I received a text from the owner, acknowledging the frustration and inconvenience that I had experienced, and offering a credit for any laundry I had planned to do that day. After a very small bit of back-and-forth, I picked up a $20.00 credit from the day-shift wash-and-fold employee. The owner went well above and beyond to make up for any inconvenience I had. Aside from the cleanliness of the machines and the usual reliability, two thumbs up for excellent customer service and basic kindness.

It sure does clean your clothing

Filthy machines, most of which are broken and not working, and really inconvenient hours (only open from 9am-5pm). They they are often out of change, with no attendant on the premise, and the prices are much higher than many other (much cleaner and more well maintained) laundromats nearby (Ossington & Dundas, King & Dufferin, and Harbord & Brunswick are all WAY better options). I really wish this place was better, as it's the most convenient location for me. However, I just cannot use this place anymore as the washing machines that do still work smell like mold! One of the worst laundromats I’ve been to.

Very expensive for a place that is clearly not taken care of. Half the machines are out of order and honestly don't seem like they'll be coming back on any time soon. Also the last two times I've went there has been some guy who stands in the only real area to wait and is extremely aggressive to anyone who gets close to him. The fact that no one has reported that or taken care of that is actually frightening. This time I had to leave early with my laundry soaking wet because I feared for my own safety after he started pacing in front of me staring me down like a lunatic. Never coming back and you should never come

Nadine Condo

Cold inside during the day, not much to look at. The large machines are great use though.

Nice, clean place to wash your clothes. If you not into waiting while you wash/dry your clothes, there is shopping and bars close by to pass the time away. Staff that was in the place, was very friendly and helpful. It was about a 25 minute walk going west on Queen Street from the Sheraton Center hotel...

Please upgrade this place. Cheaper laundry please, I am already travelling in the snow, on the bus. Thank you.

Location - Excellent , at an important / popular place Timings - Good ( open till 11pm) , though I would prefer to extend till 12 Quality - Machines are good. Wash / Dry is good. Service - self service + attender available Price - reasonable. But the soaps / washing liquid are on little expensive and better to bring our own Overall it's a very good self service laundry and u can always count on this. And usually crowded in the evenings and we need to factor that before we go there .

No staff on site, no seating, half of the machines are out of service, the store closes 6 hrs earlier to "clean for the pandemic" yet not very clean. Some machines do have quarter and loonie slots.

Steven Stienstra

I only go out of nessesity. Never any change. Half the machines out of order.

Half of the machines are out of order, there's no where to sit, people were having trouble with the change machine, the place could use a thorough cleaning, and the hours are really weird. I was able to wash and dry a load for $5 but that feels steep considering the general lack of up keep Update: I've been coming her for almost 3 months and it seems like none of the machines ever get fixed. Every time I come back more machines are out of order. 7/10 of the dryers on the back wall are now out of order.

Very good, a lot of machine, my laundry is clean with a nice smell. Kind of old place but CLEAN place, the lady was cleaning and disinfecting all the time to keep it clean and tidy, detergent and softener available, really good price, I recommend the place ???????? cash only

David Choi

It's small, and half the machines weren't functioning when I got there. It was 1.25 for detergent and 4 dollars in loonies for a wash. Does the job but can only imagine when it's busy and half their machines are down.

From out of town, and just needed to do a small load of laundry. So i did the self service washing. The washer cost me $4 CAD, and then it was 4 mins for $.25. $1.25 for detergent. Took around 45 minutes to it. Place was clean enough and easy enough. Just a laundromat

Dishonest, be careful. Make sure you have your receipt. We dropped off laundry for wash and fold. I paid in full and they didn't have $5 change when I dropped it off. They agreed to pay the $5 back upon pick-up. When my brother picked it up for me, they told him I still owed them an extra $15. We were overcharged $20 and to top it off: the attendant was rude and very slow.

This is my local laundromat and I typically use it twice a month. Yesterday my $10 bill happened to get jammed in the change dispenser. I was in there before staff was on shift so I decided to call the phone number located on the wall, and left a message. Within an hour I received a text from the owner stating I should head on back to the laundromat when staff is on shift and they will sort it out. When I told staff of my problem, they did not hesitate to offer me a refund for my $10 and apologized for the delay. Super nice staff with wonderful customer service. I highly recommend this laundromat and will be back. I also love how there is always parking out back, this is super helpful, especially downtown.

UPDATE: (photos) I guess when the machines break here they just decide it’s going to stay that way forever. I’ve brought my review down from 3 to 1 star. I would honestly rate them zero stars if they weren’t still somehow the cleanest laundromat in the area… - Queen Street Laundry , I am BEGGING you to extend your hours! Please please please at least extend your hours to 7pm so people who work 9-5 can do laundry after work ????????

Half of the machines are always out of service, so its a nightmare when more than 3 people have to do laundry.

Crystal Goodrich

NO HOT WATER?!?!?! I spent about $18.00 doing laundry. I set the washer to HOT. AFTER I WAS DONE WASHING my loads I found a little note on the coin machine that there was no hot water. I wanted to scream.

Paul Mack

If you’re reading this, the change machine is broken again. Send help.

Mack Browne

It was fine. Old, but seemed clean and a lot of the washers/dryers had been updated.

It's okay but the black lady who is a works there is rude. Needs another laundry cart as weekends can be busy there. Maintenance of the machines is quite often.

Clean and quiet Some machines did not work A nice lady was there and helped me $ 4 for the washing machine 25 cents for dryer for 4 minutes

Caitlin Madley

About half the machines don't work

Stacey McCool

it gets hot in there but i appreciate the secret entrance

I came at 7am and they were closed. One of the machines took my money, didn't count it and didn't give it back. I tried calling them and they don't pick up the phone. They only have one broken chair that's on it's last breath before it's collapse. 9/10 of the machines are broken too.

Bennett Jones Phillips

Eric Reinke

Do not do your laundry here only 5 of the 24 washers are functional as of October 2021. The machines will take your loonies and not return them, and even the change making machine took 5 of my loonies and won’t spit them out. I’ve emailed the owner but I get no response for months. It feels like they have given up on the business and are just waiting for it to die. They don’t care about the customers or their machines. It’s very sad

Now don't get me wrong about the 5 stars. This laundromat clearly has enough machines [good big ones for blankets too], but sadly near half say, in that simple laundromat scrawl, "out of order". The only chair is by a folding table with a sign above, "Do not sit on." It's not a good chair. The laundromat pleads for a paint job. My first job decades ago was as an attendant in a laundry very much like this. [Well, it wasn't really my first job. I was the Headless Woman at the local fair, but that only paid the rent for a month.] I add nostalgia to the stars. The laundromat is on the overexcitedly-trendy Queen St. So we need to give it another star for survival. The final stars go to it belonging to that class of industries that save the environment. Having for the first time a small washer and dryer in my home [I do need bigger-machine laundromats], I see the incredible waste of water and chemical materials needed to do a little laundry. Laundromats do your wardrobe and your bedding in one sweep. So let's hear it for a well-used, well-worn laundromat that is likely not welcome in the neighbourhood.

Clean laundromat with great customer service Recently did my laundry at QSL because my old laundromat closed. The machines are pretty clean and prices are reasonable. They actually sanitize their washers monthly and offer same day, wash and fold service. I think they will pick up and drop off your laundry too. This is my new spot for laundry days.
