$25,000 plus 3 bucks will get you a cup of coffee.
We have purchased several Sub Zero, Wolf, Miele appliances over the years. In redoing our kitchen in Toronto recently the designer suggested we try Gaggenau. We bought a Gaggenau steam oven, speed oven and Coffee/Esspresso maker.
One of the ovens was delivered broken, the other with the wrong hookups, and the coffee maker has never worked from day one…makes a cup then error messages continually. Still doesn’t work. I walk to Starbucks every morning while I have a brand new machine sitting there while I get the answering machine at the service department.
Aside from the low quality of the products, what is even worse is dealing with their service. Highly non-responsive. Appliance Canada is also half the problem as they are equally poor and non-responsive in their service. When you spend 25K on a few appliances you’d think you’d get some level of service.
Finally, I can count on one hand the number of reviews I have ever put online – bad Karma etc. but we have talked about posting a review repeatedly to warn others, and finally I decided that others need to know that is company could care less about their customers. The real question will be if I even get a response to this review. I wonder if anyone is tracking Gaggenau Appliance Reviews in Toronto. If not, I’ll have to post it in other locations until they see it and respond. Can’t be any worse than trying to get response through traditional channels.
