Laundry Affair is such a great place to get your laundry done and the dry cleaning service is spectacular too. Judy and Doug are amazing and kind people. They go above and beyond to make your laundry experience superb. It is a very clean and most important safe place to do your laundry in peace at any time of the day when they are open. Rating is only out of 5 but I give them a 100/100. You got laundry, get it done at laundry Affair! You will not regret it!

Lot of machines available to do multiple loads at once. Managed to get comforters done in a high capacity washer. Very clean, and room to fold your laundry. Wifi and TV's to pass the time. Helpful customer service. They also do dry cleaning.

I usually go there for their wash and fold service. They always impress me because they treat your clothes with extra care, and love :) I receive my clean clothes with nice and comfortable scent which makes my day. Yet the price is very affordable. I highly recommend this place.

I was skeptical at first giving my Canada Goose for a dry wash here. They did an excellent job. Removed the stains from the hand area!! Recommend this place for Canada Goose wash. Will return! The excellent customer service was a bonus. Thanks!

I pass about 4 or 5 other laundromats on my way to this one because it's actually the best. So accomodating, the owner is honest and cares about the environment of the establishment. Super kid friendly (colouring and activities are aplenty), great to have a quick chat with while you wait, or if you need any help they are always there with a smile and a helping hand. Not only is this place clean, they offer free wifi, comfy seats, tables and chairs if you need to get some work or studying done. If you're a kind and level-headed person, you'll enjoy your time here always. The owners are fair and not tolerant of disrespectful behaviour —as they have every right to be. Also, they accept all forms of payment! So easy! <3

Hands down the best laundry experience you could possibly ask for. Clean well kept facility and high quality efficient machines. I am always in awe at how fresh everything I wash here smells. The owners are wonderful, kind hearted people who go above and beyond to get to know their clients and make you feel comfortable and welcome each time you arrive. There are always plenty of machines, folding tables, comfortable chairs and tall wheeling baskets to make switching your loads over easy. You wont get bored here, there are televisions, a desk area to sit and do work/study at and a lovely section for children to read or color. You can truly tell that Judy & Dough are passionate about their business and making sure that each client is happy! YOU GUYS ROCK! Thank you so much!

Well, since finding this laundromat, I have travelled the extra distance to do my laundry here. I have 3 laundromats that are closer, but none of which have the great customer service offered at this laundromat. The owners are outstanding. Helpful, friendly, and go out of their way every time I am there, to ensure that my experience is great. I mean, let's face it, laundry day sucks, but when you have a great clean place to do it, it makes it a better day all around.

Place was clean. Gentleman working there was helpful. This was my first time going and I'll use them again for sure. I can pay with my card which is the best. They have four different size machines prices $9.50 $6.25 $4.75 and $3. Dryers are $0.25 per 5 mins. I did three loads and used three dryer and paid $22 I think. I don't wash often so even though it's a bit pricey I didn't mind since I want to use a clean laundromat.

I have been going to this laundry mat for over a year and a half. I actually travel from the cities north end to exclusively use this facility. I am always treated with a friendly smile and always a helping hand from the owners. The laundry mat is always clean and the machines are spotless. Doug and Judy pride themselves on top-notch laundry care. I love the family friendly atmosphere that allows you to bring your baby, toddler or child with you. They have a beautiful wall full of colouring pages from local kids that really make it feel welcoming. Thank-you for providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for me and my family. I will always recommend you to anyone.

I have been bringing my coats here for years. Stopped during the pandemic, but now that the winter weather is back I will be sure to only go to them for my winter coats cleaning. They are so friendly and you can't beat their quality nor prices.

The owner Doug is rude and arrogant. He appears to have a chip on his shoulders towards women. He also lacks customer service skills and common courtesy. The place is dirty and over priced. Don’t waste your time supporting this business that does not value there customers. My rating is a no star but unfortunately that is not an option so I had to give 1 star.

Not professionally run the owner Doug is rude. The place is dirty and over priced .You would think the owner would be pleasant to customers knowing he is over charging them. He appears to have a superiority complex where he talks down to you in order to make himself feel more empowered because he owns the place. Don't waste your money growing his business it's not appreciated. You can find clean laundry mats at a lower price just up the street and be treated with respect. My rating is a zero!

The facility is clean, the machines are new, there are different payment method options which make laundry day here great. The only drawback is the surly grinch that runs the place. I don't know what to tell you about this guy, maybe the hours are long for him. His wife (i think she is his wife) is lovely and cordial. He however has always been a bit of a jerk.

I don't know, it's just a very clean and safe feeling place. Its professionally run by a young helpful couple. You don't have to worry about having the right change,they will keep things going if you step out for minute and your machine stops. They watch out for your stuff and keep track of the $. I just pay it off with my credit card when the ordeal is over.

Doug and Judy rule! We have been doing our laundry here for over 2 years. We actually have machines in our building but prefer driving 10 minutes to Laundry Affair. They have a rewards program that has translated to redeemable discounts a number of times already and they also accept debit and credit. Doug and Judy are great people and have a super tidy establishment. It stands out amongst many many sketchy laundromats in the east end.

Awful customer service and quality. Brought in a coat for cleaning and there was significant damage done - called and asked for their policy and all I got was “correct, items get damaged”. When questioned further about whether pictures of items are taken the man said “some pictures are taken and some aren't - it’s in the database!”. So why not look at the database before prompting me to come in again to assess a coat you may or may not have taken records of? Any why won’t you tell me what your usual policy is before having me drive in again? Man was rude and hung up on me mid conversation. If you have any items of value, DO NOT come here. If there was a rating lower than one star this place would receive it.

by far the worst laundromat i have ever visited. I went in to check out the prices, wow 3.50 for a single loader. The 4 people in there looked at me like i was from a different planet, the owner being one, was the rudest most ignorant person i have meet around here in a long time. don't waste your time with this place. i give it zero stars

This is a spot of joy in your day. Not only is the dry cleaning service second to none, they even have a mini library for your kids while you wait doing your laundry and wall of drawings done by the kids. Really exceptional people.

I use their laundry service on a regular basis and keep coming back!! EVERYTHING is folded...bagged professionally and ALWAYS ready when promised....what a concept...do something and do it right! My days often stretch into the double digits in hours....having the availability of a kind, family oriented organization that greets you when you come through the door and produce a Service at a high level is a God send.

I've been going to Doug and Judy's for a couple years and the laundry service has always been exemplary. You know when you enter a business and hope a certain person is there? Well here it doesn't matter as they are both super friendly and accommodating. So I decided to try their dry cleaning as my favourite coat had fallen into disrepair and I wanted to see if it could be cleaned and saved. Brought it in on a Friday.and was told it would be ready Monday. I thought that would be a rush service with extra fees as I have experienced in the past but that was just their standard. It came out beautifully at a very good price. This is not just a coin laundry with dry cleaning. It is a full service business run by consummate professionals who truly value their customers. Keep up the stellar work!

The review from "Jackie" below is not reflective of the excellent business that's being run by the current owners. I am a repeat customer that has been coming here for years (you can see my other 5 star review for this place). I took a video and photo of "Jackie" harrassing the owner for what seems to be no apparent reason, and after trying to reason with her, she still remained difficult She was even coughing on an elderly client and was very condescending to the owner with her constant frivolous requests. Luckily the owner took control of the situation in a very professional manner as to keep the customers feeling safe, and also made sure to lock the front door as she was banned from returning. There is no other laundromat alike, you should step in and see for yourself the 5 star customer service and excellent machines!
