I had been to this place several times for very simple services (shirts, work dresses) and service had always been ok. In my opinion. what makes or breaks a company is how they handle their customer service when they make a mistake, and this week we experienced shockingly poor customer service. My parents brought a sleeping bag to them, put it out on the table, and asked for her quote. We were told $28 + tax. This is a very big sleeping bag, and this was obvious when we placed it on the table. 2 days later, I received a call from the owner saying that we had made a mistake and had told them it was 1 sleeping bag, when it fact it was 2 sleeping bags. I informed her it was indeed just 1 sleeping bag, but she insisted that it was considered "2 bags" because it's a double and un-zippable so therefore considered as 2 separate bags. I was advised that the "2 bags" would cost an additional $32 dollars (more than twice the price of her quote). I told her we were no longer interested as the bag wasn't worth that much, so we would come and pick it up. However, she informed me it was already cleaned so we had to pay the full price. We went in person and discussed, and after she pointedly said several times that we had made a mistake, she finally accepted our payment of the original quote. However, as we were leaving, she said she was extremely unhappy, called my family tourists (they're not) and insisted again that the whole thing was our mistake and that they work very hard and it wasn't fair for us to insist on this. I'm shocked that a small business would back us into a corner like this, then attempt to push guilt onto us after the transaction was over. If they indeed had made a mistake in their quote they a) should not have accused us of not being specific enough and b) should have called us and informed us of their mistake in their quote before cleaning the item. I do not recommend going here, and I personally will not go again. Over the past 2 years we have given them over $500 worth of business. I think the owner thought my family were tourists and tried to take what they could, but didn't realise I was also a loyal customer as my boyfriend usually handles the dry cleaning... Won't be going again!

I brought my coat for dry cleaning. It had a few spots on the sleeves and the collar. A week later I received my coat with new 3 huge brown spots (!) that looked like burnt fabric. I refused to take the coat so they took it back. Another week later the coat still had 1 big brown spot and thin white spots. I've never seen before that a dry cleaner returns the coat in worse condition than what they received. Both people who work there (man and woman) cannot communicate calmly and im polite manner, they raise their voice and are extremely negative repeating that they cannot do magic. Well, in my opinion they have done black magic spoiling my $1,800 coat.
