I brought in my Moose Knuckles jacket in for routine dry cleaning, and upon first contact this place seemed great. I spoke to one lady who made my experience bearable, though I didn’t catch her name. I spoke to another on the phone who seemed more rude than the lady I had encountered in the store, so half the staff I talked to were decent. A couple days after drop off, they called me and told me they had knocked the metal emblem off the arm of my jacket, and that they would repair it and it should only take a day longer than originally scheduled, if delayed at all. Simple enough, though a little upset about my jacket not being original condition anymore, things happen and I understand. On the day I was originally meant to pick it up, I had called and they let me know it still wasn’t ready. I asked if they could deliver it to my home when it WAS ready (as that’s a free service they offer) but they only deliver to my postal code once a week. What upset me was the fact that they took 10 extra days and offered nothing in the way of compensation save for an apology from the aforementioned sweet desk worker that I encountered when I dropped it off. As a former service industry worker I understand she likely had nothing to do with the mistreatment of the jacket or the time I had to wait. A full week and a half longer than expected, with no discount for damaging the jacket, and upon further inspection the repair was done to a quality I am unhappy with (see photos, attached haphazardly with little regard for the jacket). The one star is for the kind employee, otherwise I would give it a zero if I could.
