Machines are nice. They appeared clean. The dryer I'm using is trying to eat dollar coins. The garbage is overflowing and the floor is a mess. Too small for social distancing and some people aren't wearing masks. I'm not sure what the situation is here in Canada. But I still see people wearing masks around town.

The service is convenient.. The owner is very clear on the machine status, really appreciate that... The machine itself are good and clothes came out clean.. took about 40 mins each for washing and drying a medium load.. Only problem was I became confused with the coin dispensing machine which said that it works and doesn't work at the same time.. Probably should fix that or write a clear message as done on the machines.. other than that, perfect..

This mat was exceptionally clean! Very quiet, not a lot of ppl. I was the only one on a Friday afternoon. The man who looks after it is very nice and courteous too. I ended up putting way too much money in the dryer and he gave back the $4 I over paid for minutes I didn't need as my clothes were dry in no time at all. ????????

You have to know what size a load you’re about to wash giving the appropriate machine. More money used for washing means cleaner/faster to dry clothes.

First time here. Machines are dirty. It smells. There are a total of 4 chairs so almost nowhere to sit. Machine stopped mid cycle so blankets were left soaked and had to pay to transfer to a new machine. No visible staff. Sent email about these issues asking for help but someone replied hours later with incorrect explanation on why the washer stopped working, no empathy telling me to remove my "false" review with no offer of resolution but instead (Richard Rivers) resorting to CREEPING ME ON SOCIAL MEDIA TO KNOW WHERE I LIVE to make blanket statements on the people who live there when I told him I would not remove my review. STAY AWAY if you can avoid it. I know I will.

One of the machines have error codes resulting of a locked door. I tried contacting the posted phone number and no answer at all. More than 7 hours of waiting for response still no call back. I have to wait for the owner to come pick his money just to get my locked up clothes.

Nothing but a dump, someone drove their car threw the front window, people smoke into the laundry mat despite the laws, the ceiling is caving in and half the machines only work half of the time correctly. If the machine breaks down expect management to blame you for their incompetence. Over priced and definitely not worth wasting your time. Plus laundry comes out smelling worse.

I find this place is always great, there's vending machines (drinks, and laundry materials), a change machine. My only complaint is I wish they had some sort of security. At times I've felt as though my personal safety was in jeopardy because of various people that go there to use the free Wifi. (E.g., One time a woman who was schizophrenic had an episode, One man set up his entire desktop and was blasting profanic music outloud, etc.)

What kind of a laundromat has no phone number? There's no way of contacting someone if there's an issue. One of the the dryers the timer is sped up. It finished long before it was supposed to. I put another 3 quarters in to make it 11 min. 2 minutes later I look and it's at 4 minutes. How is that possible? I wasted so much money on that dryer, stuff wasn't dry and no one to contact. On top of that, I had moved some of my slightly dryer stuff to another dryer. They were almost dry. Pull them out, and half of my stuff is freaking melted and stuck onto the dryer. My new clothes. I am beyond livid.

There's lots of machines. Washing is $2 to $6. Drying is $1 to $1.50. Make sure you put small loads when you're drying or else you will spend more on drying your clothes.

A guy came and lock me up inside around 8 pm, I had plenty of stuff to carry outside. Nobody gives me any information and there was no employee. If y'all gonna lock people in at least warn them that the door won't open once you get outside. I had to wait 4 hours outside in the cold, it's almost midnight nobody was there. There is no phone number to call no information display on the internet. Next time I will never come back here. When you go on alexander street at least you have employees that can open the door. This is very upsetting. Bad customer service. Someone is not doing its job.

Our experience here was good until this day there was a problem in the electricity and now we can't remove our clothes inside the machine because it doesn't open and the machine says error so we contacted the owner but they are not responsive at all. At these times we are expecting them to be more cooperative but they failed.

Normally we wouldn't have any complaints as everything is pretty much self reliant here. However the last time we tried to use the facility we were greeted by a lady we had never seen before. It was 4:23 on a Sunday, not knowing last load was at 4:30 we proceeded to try and enter the establishment to be yelled at and turned around immediately. The "lady" in the most discusting tone while still yelling at us 5 ft away, told us last load was at 4:30 (which it wasn't yet) and there was another laundry mat downtown. . Her attitude was discusting. If last load is at 430, it should be 430 not any sooner. Not sure why you'd want to direct customers to another establishment when yours is technically still open.

Small, quiet, clean and has multiple washers and dryers. Prices are reasonable but no change machine so come with either quarters or loonies. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Groceries, dollar store and Home Hardware right there so lots to do while you wait and places to get drinks or snacks. Highly recommend this business.

Have finished today doing a laundry here at this location. Zero people here this morning, besides suspicious individual locked in a washroom? Walked in with a back pack. His business really. I hope he's alright. Anyhow wish the "Staff" would clean up inside a Washroom. Floor's need good disinfection especially sink,dryer got blood spray,drippings on both. This facility has deteriorated over the past 5 years. The flooring is filthy. Over half the machines are out of order with every visit to the facility. We have approached the owner with our concerns. His response was people were purposely ruining the machines so he is not motivated to repair them.

We drove from our cottage which is 45 minutes away to this laundromat to find out that the laudromat is really run down. Most machines have out of order signs on them. The machines that are working do not accept your money properly and you loose more coins then the total cost of washing or drying your clothes. It would be nice to see it up and running properly someday. We used it quite a bit in the past.

Half of the machines are broken, and have been for months. Some machines are more expensive than other, but dont do a better job or take more laundry. Machines smell very musty like they havent been cleaned in a while and often leave soap scum on clothes. If there was ANY other laundromat in Montague we would use it. 1 Star.

Very clean, lots of washers and dryers to choose from. The attendant was extremely friendly and helpful to anyone who needed it. We used the industrial size washer & dryer to wash 2 loads and we were finished (including time to fold) in 90 minutes! $8 for wash $2 for the dry (30 minutes). Regular washers were $4 for a wash. Highly recommended.

Good selection of washing machines, including 8 large load washing machines and a mix of regular sized ones, both top loaders and high efficiency front loaders. Small machines start at $2.75 up to $6.00 for the triple load machines. Large load washers only take loonies. Plenty of dryers available as well. Laundromat has a change machine and a soap vending station. Well lit and clean, with tables and carts for folding clothes. Face masks are mandatory.

My go to place. Machines are always clean. The owner frequents his business regularly throughout the day and is very quick to refund or remedy an issue. Washroom is locked but he is willing to provide code to regulars wich is nice.

Clean and well kept. The washroom is locked to keep out rif raff but there is a number on the wall you can call to ask for admission. No sink to wash your hands after putting dirty clothes in. Has golding tables. Machines work well. $2.50 wash, $2.50 dry. Change machine present but takes 5's and 10's and doesn't give the right ratio of quarters and dollars.

The place is horrible. Machines do not work properly. The majority of the machines do not work at all. The place is dirty. The Town of Guysborough should take it over and run it properly. The need for a Laundromat will be a necessity in the not so distant future with the continuous water shortages.

Clean, neat and tidy as well as the lady that runs it is friendly and kind which makes it enjoyable even though we're doing laundry.
