About 2 months ago I took my mackage winter jacket here to be dry cleaned. He told me it won’t be ready till after 2-3 weeks as he subcontracts anything leather and they take it to Toronto to be cleaned and he will contact me when it’s ready. After 2 weeks I receive no response so I called to follow up, he told me it was ready for pick up, when I arrived i inspected it and realised my jacket had some whitish stuff on it and he said he will return it to be cleaned again which will take about 2 weeks, after two weeks I contact him again and he said it was ready to be picked up again, when i arrived, my jacket still had some whitish stuff all over it, he told me he will return it to be cleaned for the 2nd time and he won’t be charging me because of all the inconvenience caused. I called him after 2weeks again and he said my jacket came in but it still had some white stuff on it so he returned to be fixed or they send me a check if they can’t fix it.
I gave him a call yesterday and he said my jacket was ready and they had fixed the problem.
I went there during my lunch to pick it up and realised my jacket was slightly faded especially around the stitches due to continues dry cleaning, he told me it’s usually the case with dry cleaning and my jacket is perfect. I was too tired to argue so I picked up my jacket and said to him “ you’re not charging me right ?” , then he said “
No you have to pay, it cost me an arm and a leg to get your jacket cleaned”, I said to him “but you told me I don’t have to pay anything so why are you charging me? ESP after all this inconvenience?”, he punched $81 dollars in the machine, which is more than how much he initially charged me ($58+taxes) when I brought in my jacket. I told him that was incorrect and that we initially agreed on $65, and that’s the amount he eventually charged me.
I am very disappointed in your services and didn’t expect that from you as an elderly person, I made 3 trips to this dry cleaning only to find out that my jacket wasn’t cleaned properly, I made several calls also and my jacket was with you for 2 months or more and when I finally pick it up not only did you charge me ( after telling me you won’t ) you Try to increase the cost and also lie about initially agreeing not to charge me. It’s very sad.
