I used DoMyLaundry.ca because I had an insanely busy week - I have always been hesitant to use a laundry service because of the cost. I have to say the prices are clear, and reasonable. To do two weeks worth of laundry for two people, including bedding, and dog blankets the total cost was about 90$ but the time and convenience more than make up for it. I had my laundry picked up on friday morning and it was delivered the next day (although communicated to me that normally it would be next business day) I will definitely use the service again when life gets busy.

I use this Laundromat on a regular basis and was surprised to learn that they increased the price of the wash at a time when we have a pandemic and need to be extra cautious with cleanliness. Shame on you!

What a relief finding this service has been. I very quickly needed to get most the laundry in my apartment done shortly after the holidays, even stuff in the closet, and they picked up most of my wardrobe and linen and had them returned clean and fresh right on time, despite how much extra I'd loaded onto them. Excellent communication, friendly service, and very quick turnaround. Worth every penny, thank you so much! I'll definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with these guys. I wanted to get my duvet cleaned. I scheduled pickup (they came on time so that was good) the delivery for the next day. It took 3 weeks for my duvet to come in. I got an email saying I needed to pay for my order, I replied saying I didn’t have the option to online and I didn’t get an email giving me the invoice. I then emailed 3 times to ask what was going on since I didn’t hear back. I then called 2 times to ask about my order. Finally got a response and I sent in an etransfer to pay for my order. When my order came back the duvet smelled worse than how I sent it off. I don’t think they even cleaned it and if they did they didn’t dry it properly because it smelled damp. I was very disappointed because I had used their services once previously with no issues. I definitely won’t be using their services again.

They are extraordinarily friendly and a joy to work with -- I have joked that the most relentlessly positive relationship is the text history with Do My Laundry. I often have items that require special care, and everything always comes back in perfect condition. They are my laundry superheroes!

Honest review of domylaundy.ca PROS: The service provided and the quality of the finished product was outstanding. Very professional from start to finish. Driver pickup and delivery was on time and punctual. Definitely for people on the run with little time for laundry. Trustworthy business owners. CONS: This company does not offer door service for Condos. Instead they have you meet the driver out front. Also strangely they didn't seem flexible on accepting last minute orders it seems. Strictly by the book here. Also there was a slight breakdown in communication on pickup location which was more of an annoyance. So we paid $80 with tax for about 26lbs of laundry. Be mindful of what you are sending out as the costs could be quite high so you might want to manage your load ahead of time. But in fairness to them they charge you by weight and the prices are clearly stated on their website. This cannot be used against them so read the prices. It's expensive but quality is excellent. VERDICT: Gave this company a 4/5 for not offering door service and accepting last minute orders. But we were quite satisfied at how nice our laundry looked and the service was professional.

Unbelievable service for an unbelievable price! I called to schedule a pick up and laundry was picked up within 30 minutes and then returned to me just hours later!! I am so impressed. This is by far the best laundry service I have ever used!! Thank you!!

Amazing service. DoMyLaundry is literally my favorite company ever. I tried a terrible service called "Laundry Concierge", 7 days later and a poorly designed website they still haven't returned my clothing. I got DoMyLaundry AFTER Laundry Concierge and they beat them handedly, with my order done in about 36 hours. Wash and fold service was great, better than I could have ever done.

Not really sure if 3 stars is right, but this was my experience I washed my duvet but since the washing machine at my apartment is small it got water stain so I decided to schedule a pickup, they reached about 40min outside the time frame which is an hour earlier or later than agreed, I got back my duvet the same day which I was impressed with, at simple glance looked cleaned. When I took it out of the bag it felt weird kinda soapy, have a yellow tint look and the stains are still there they just folded it so it won't show unless I completely opened it. I have sensitive skin they advertise they use eco friendly items however I ended up itchy and red.

I hired Do My Laundry for a rental building I own with 12 units, while our laundry room was out of service due to construction. We scheduled Thursday AM pick up for all the units. More often than not, the laundry was cleaned and returned later that afternoon. The service is efficient, well priced and was a life saviour during the time where we didn't have access to our in-house machines. I wouldn't hesitate to use the service again or to recommend Do My Laundry to others.

In Feb 2018 I used this company to not only do my laundry but also to RETURN all the items that were in my order. It was brought to Marci attention the night my laundry returned that an item is missing. She said she checked the plant and her vehicles but nothing so they lost it or mixed my item in with someone else's laundry. I asked for a refund, but she insisted to buy me a full set. I agreed. That was FOUR months ago. They do not have the right to mishandle my items , then break their own word and expect me to not say something. This is unprofessional and disrespect to my items and what that item may have meant to me. DO NOT USE this company for your laundry service. They clearly have difficulty in keeping your order straight. They are enthusiast for Business but not so enthusiastic to remedy this concern that was brought forth to them months ago. Poor business acumen, where as I am use to dealing with professional business and proper customer care.

I used DoMyLaundry for the first time this week and I am not disappointed. This was an easy, uncomplicated transaction and the very sympatico Marcia arrived on time to pick up my laundry. Payment was also made easy by providing an e-transfer option. I received a text from Henri containing weight and cost information on the evening of the pickup and my clothes we delivered the next day. Marcia called ahead to give me the heads up. No fuss. My stuff was nicely folded and smelling fresh. I even got a complimentary laundry bag (a really nice one too!!), with my address tag on it. We will be doing business again, and again....

Marcia answered my distressed phone call late Friday night and was helpful and professional b/c renos have left us without any laundry facilities. She was on time for pick up on Saturday and, to my disbelief, delivered all 50+lbs of laundry back to us on Saturday evening, well ahead of what I was expecting. Wow!! I would not hesitate to give 5 stars to the Do My Laundry team. We are an eternally grateful family who will be now be 'regulars'.

I've been using this laundry service for several years, and have generally always been satisfied. However, recently things have changed. I don't know if there was a change of management, and the new owners just don't know what they are doing, but things have declined significantly. They replaced their old website, and the new website is completely awful. Their pick-up and delivery was previously done in-house, but they decided to outsource this to a third party delivery service, which was a big mistake. Half of my items were missing on my last delivery. The delivery driver did come back eventually with the second bag, but even then, stuff was missing. I reported the missing stuff to DoMyLaundry, and initially there seemed to be some interest in finding what was missing, then complete silence. I was promised a call back that never happened. There really isn't a lot of point in pursing this any further. I've already ordered replacement items, but just the idea that I will not get back what I sent them for cleaning has destroyed any trust that I had in this company. I'm wondering now how much stuff went missing previously that I just didn't notice. Unfortunately, I am done and a relationship that has been ongoing for many years has come to an end. My recommendation to anyone still using this service is to keep track of what you send them and what you get back. [Edited - 11/27/2020] I decided to lower my rating after reading your response since I find it somewhat insulting. It simply seemed like an attempt to deflect responsibility. It does nothing to replace what I lost. Why should I be responsible for your bad decision making? You talk about a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Well, I'm not satisfied and you have done nothing about it, aside from ignoring me. You have my number and my email address. Complete and utter lack of responsibility and character.

I subscribed for their weekly service. The service was really bad. Not only they missed the days for collections and return many times, when they eventually dis their part, many items were missing when it was finally delivered. Basically, my clothes were stolen by this company. they said the owner would contact me, and no one called in 2 weeks, and everyone pretends nothing happened. Very dishonest.

Pros- Marcia was excellent with communication! She was wonderful at assisting me by phone to schedule a pick up (technical issues with the website) and called to inform me that there could possibly be some fading to my leather (one of the several items). Cons- spent 4 hours trying to schedule a dry cleaning online. The website states they have an app and I tried looking everywhere for an hour and wasn’t able to find anything. I then messaged over Facebook asking where to locate the app and was told their app isn’t comparable with iPhones but only androids at this time. I kindly mentioned this should be noted on the website. I was then directed to schedule a pick using their website and tried for 3h. I tried on my phone and 2 laptops and was not able to reach the confirmation page. By the end of the 4th hour I did.... Was then quoted 2 weeks for dry cleaning as I had special garments. Sure great! I don’t mind waiting the two weeks! Turned out to be 3.5 weeks and as the customer, I had to reach out. I was getting very concerned something was wrong. There was no follow up to say there was a delay. Receiving my garments I carefully checked to ensure there was no fading, holes or pieces missing. Everything looked great accept for one coat. There is a lot of fading through out the whole coat and along the seams the colour is completely gone (it’s white and suppose to be blue). It’s disappointing as this cost is only a year old. This is my first impression of domylaundry.ca and sadly will be my last. I would recommend them for dry cleaning but perhaps their laundry service is a lot better.

My mental health has, understandably, taken a dive during this difficult time. One morning I looked at my piles of laundry and wanted to cry. I found Do My Laundry just randomly on a search, and took a chance. What I got was a wonderful experience in customer service. My laundry was done in record time and delivered earlier than predicted by cheerful and helpful people. I highly recommend Do My Laundry to anyone who needs a break and is looking for ways to ease their mental load just a little bit. The bonus is that it is a local and independent business! Do it. Never showed up! Placed an order for laundry pick up and no one ever showed. No one contacted me and no one answered their phone when I tried to see if the pickup was delayed. Someone showed up the day later with no apology, no recognition that they were a day late. Doesn't come off as a trustworthy business to me. Look elsewhere.

Ok, First let me say that Marcia is such a professional, caring and understanding person. Not to mention that all of my laundry came back perfectly folded and perfectly cleaned! She helped me so much during a really hard time. Earlier this year, for the first time ever. I used her services. You see my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer and I had to go be with her in Ottawa for a while. The week before that, I had given Marcia a tone of clothes ( my moms, my two childrens and mine) to wash. The plan was that I would be away for only a week, but it ended up being almost a month. All that time Marcia kept the clothes for me and told me to take care of my mom and not to worry. She said that she would keep my clothes until I would get back. She didn’t even charge me for storage! It is rare in this life to find a business person to have such a trusting caring heart. My mom is not out of the woods yet. She is still in hospital and has been in and out of the ICU at Princes Margaret Cancer centre. I have been meaning to write a review since this summer but I have been so busy taking care of my mom. She needs 24 hour care. Once again, Marcia proved to be that amazingly professional, caring and understanding person. Today I required her services again and without any reservations she came and picked up a tone of my family’s clothes. This time some of my dads, my moms, my sisters mine and my two kids. Most other businesses would probably have said that they would not do business with me again, since it took almost an entire month for Marcia to have to store all my clothes and receive payment. But she didn’t do that. She just said yes I will pick up the clothes and bring them back on Monday. I will keep on using her services and I will 1000% recommend her services to everyone. Again, Marcia my family thanks you for helping us trough these hard times.

Had a great experience today with this company. I had run out of clean linens for my Health and Wellness Clinic and my sheet provider was not open. Do My Laundry arrived this morning at 9:00 and returned everything about 2:00 to save my business for the day. Marcia was extremely personable and I would recommend them to anybody.

Needed my suit cleaned for funeral. Signed up for same day dry cleaning on the app. No where thru the check out process says it takes 3 days. Called to complain, didn't do anything to rectify thr situation just offered to give me back my clothes. Horrible customer service could at least cleaned it for free

I recently used domylaundry to dry clean some shirts for work and I was not disappointed! They offered a pick up and drop off service which made it very convenient for me as it was picked up and dropped off at my work place. I was able to retrieve my clothing faster than ever before because I wasn't racing the clock to get to a location before they closed. The service I received was 10/10 and I would recommend domylaundry to anyone! Not only do they dry clean but the do regular laundry as well!! To add the cherry on top they are environmentally friendly and leave my shirts feeling much better against my sensitive skin.

By far, this is the place to go for laundry services! Perfectly located and easy to find. Owners are friendly, interesting and classy. The people working there are kind and efficient, and there is always lots of laughter and good music (I care about such details). Most importantly, the place is clean, and, should you choose wash and fold, your laundry is expertly folded and bagged (I had to see for myself how this was done, and no, I can’t duplicate it), and returned to you quickly. They offer unscented laundry care as well for those with sensitive skin, the ability to pay remotely, pick up/delivery, and even big bags to purchase for laundry transport. All of these details are vitally important as a person with a very demanding career and businesses and a family and home to care for. I had never done laundry service before and felt that this offering was for “others”: perhaps wealthier people, or those who just had no interest in housework; I was wrong, this is for everyone, and everyone is welcome. I highly recommend laundry care at this establishment. It’s a good place.
