What an absolutely brilliant team these two brothers...Andy and Alec... are. We sold our home and had moved out of Province. We needed to have moss removed from the roof as a condition of the sale. I called Andy who had looked after our roof and gutters previously and he responded immediately. Andy and his crew went above and beyond! I'd highly recommend Brilliant Brothers and will definitely hire them again. After hearing that our gutters were overflowing, they bumped us up in the queue to clean them the next morning. The following week we had an issue with the downspout drainage, and they responded that day. Although they couldn't fix the problem, they contacted several companies on our behalf and even offered their water pump to borrow. If only all companies provided such excellent customer service and at competitive rates.

The Brilliant Bros are indeed Brilliant. We had them over and they 'did a number' on our place. They flushed, cleaned and scrubbed the gutters, they removed our moss problem and treated the roof. They were awesome, the work was done on-time, they took on an extra job I threw at them last minute (washing my vinyl siding) and my house has never looked so good! I asked Alec, an employee to drop by to get his card for gutter and window cleaning. Alec noticed a missing light on one of my motion sensors and as a courtesy he offered to replace it for free after competing the job nextdoor. Andy was super responsive from the initial contact right through to finding me a much earlier cancellation date. The guys showed up early and were really efficient and friendly. There's some difficult upper floor access here that usually requires going through the interior (which they cannot do right now). They were creative and unobtrusive in figuring that out and getting everything. I don't know why good, reliable window cleaning services are so hard to come by in this city but Brilliant Brothers were great and I will be on regular rotation. My glass is sparkling. As a business owner, I am envious of the the 5-Star with 347 reviews this company has. I found them through Google and their reviews is what sold me on them. I needed moss removal and gutter cleaning. I emailed them a request at night and the second day had a message on my phone saying they would be checking the house that afternoon. I received their quote with photos of the roof and gutter and a detailed explanation of the process and cost. By the way, they were one of three companies that quoted me on the job and were the best value as well. I happen to be working in Vancouver all week so had no chance of seeing their work but my wife spoke highly of the crew and how they came on time, did the work and cleaned around the house. After the first heavy rain, we had some rainwater spilling over the gutter, according to my wife. I emailed them with it and they scheduled a return visit for when I would be there. Jason came and checked the downspouts and everything was fine. However, he noticed the endcap of the gutters was leaking a little (needing silicon) and also suggest a remedy to divert the heavy rain in that ridge to a more gradual slope of the roof so it doesn't splash as it hits the gutter. He said he would come back with the metal piece to do that. By the way, this I did not expect from them because it's a maintenance piece that has nothing to do with their cleaning of the moss and gutter. However, it's this kind of going a little extra to serve the client that earned them my admiration and the 5-Star rating. Thank you Alec, Andy, and Jason

A more friendly, personable, professional, and efficient group of young men you will not find! The Brilliant Brothers did an excellent job on our driveway. It was, literally, covered in moss! They came in and cleaned it. We have one of those pebbled surfaces that requires some extra care. They took that into account. They cleaned the driveway and paid attention to cleaning up after themselves. I've got the cleanest driveway in the complex! There isn't a spot of moss anywhere on it.

I contacted Brilliant Brothers for a quote and someone dropped by within a few days to assess the job and then submitted a quote the following day via email. I wasn't expecting service for at least two weeks, but they had a cancellation and fit my job in within a couple of days of my accepting the quote. The crew (two guys) arrived a bit early on the appointed day, worked steadily and quietly (apart from the noise of the leaf blower at the end of the job) throughout the day - finishing before supper. They did a very thorough job of cleaning up and were careful to check whether I was satisfied with their work before leaving. I received before/after pictures of the job that evening along with the invoice. Given the length of time it took two guys to complete this job and quality of their work, I think the price was very reasonable. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the attention I received from Brilliant Brothers. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them back or recommend this company. Nice work guys! Thank you all.

Andy and Alec and crew are clearly in the client-oriented mode from the moment you speak with them on the phone. Recently called in the Brilliant Brothers as we had a challenging skylight situation. The ceiling height is 20 feet high (check out that ladder in the pics!) and there are 3 skylights up there that needed cleaning on both the inside and the outside. The Brothers did not even seem concerned by the height. They were utterly pleasant to chat with, clearly have tons of experience and came fully prepared. I contacted three local companies for quotes on gutter evac / moss removal. One company did not respond, and of the two that did - Brill Bro's was significantly cheaper - so I accepted their quote. As for the work - seemed decent to me. I see no moss and the gutters are clean. They cleaned up after quite well - and no one fell off my roof. Good enough for me - I will call back next year. Wish they had some kind of loyalty rewards program though.

I noticed a bit of water remaining along the brickwork and needed attention to our residential gutters and drains. The company I used in the past were not able to attend for almost 2 weeks. I suspected I would have some interior water damage if I waited that long. I found Brilliant Bros online (good advertising-by the way) and they agreed to have a look and schedule an appointment. We were able to align on a time and date however the very next morning we started to have water coming into our den. I immediately contacted Brilliant Bros and they we able to shift their staff to accommodate an urgent situation (which was my fault for not acting sooner after the storms). We had a stubborn downspout that we could not unplug and was unsafe for us to climb up ourselves and clean. I initially had another company booked to come (based on a recommendation from a friend) and fix the problem but after two no-shows I looked for another company. They were able to fit me into their schedule the next day. We received the quote via email and once we approved, an appointment was booked within 24 hours, well before the date they had originally anticipated. Andy and the crew live up to their name, Brilliant. Their communication style is so good it is almost startling. We always knew when they were coming out depending on weather. They were on time, worked efficiently and seem to really enjoy their work. Our building is a 3 story Victorian with very steep roofs and was quite a challenge which they dealt with safely and masterfully. They demossed and treated the roof, cleared the gutters and downspouts, provided very clever downspout screens to prevent future clogging and did some needed repairs to damage they found and reported to us. I contacted Brilliant Brothers for a quote and someone dropped by within a few days to assess the job and then submitted a quote the following day via email. I wasn't expecting service for at least two weeks, but they had a cancellation and fit my job in within a couple of days of my accepting the quote. The crew (two guys) arrived a bit early on the appointed day, worked steadily and quietly (apart from the noise of the leaf blower at the end of the job) throughout the day - finishing before supper. They did a very thorough job of cleaning up and were careful to check whether I was satisfied with their work before leaving. Given the length of time it took two guys to complete this job and quality of their work, I think the price was very reasonable. This year I waited too long again to book my window and power washing services, and was originally told I'd have to wait until the end of June. As it turned out, they were able to move the appointment up by about 2 weeks and the work was done last Friday, June 11. We weren't overly optimistic about how the decks would come out, but were thrilled with the results. In past years, we scrubbed our own decks, and it took tremendous sweat and energy, but the results were FAR better with Kieran's diligent attention. We had spilled outdoor furniture stain on the front patio this autumn and arranged with Brilliant Brothers to apply a special stain remover and pressure wash. Their pressure wash service was so effective however that the stain remover was not even required. The patio looks fantastic as does the rest of the patio and walkway we had washed at the same time. Brilliant Brothers came to our large condo complex to remove the black mold from the outsides and undersides of our gutters, plus to clean the windows. Some of the building has gutters that are 6 - 8 feet in from the wall, on balconies. This company overcharges for their work. The young man they sent to clean debris from a tree-fall off the roof and gutters on one side of the house did a good job, but I was charged $280 for a 1/2 hour job. The description on the invoice did not match the work actually done. I believe I was charged for a full all-around the house gutter cleaning. I was foolish to book this company over the phone without asking them to come to the house first to see the job and provide me a quote specific to the job.
