Editing to say that the price of the machines seems fair now that I've been around a bit more, but do expect a little extra time to dry beyond what you might expect. I really do enjoy the owners - they are so kind and friendly and do a great job with drop off service. I'd recommend this laundromat to anyone! ---- Wonderful and helpful staff, convenient location. The machines seem to be a bit on the older side and they're a bit expensive in my opinion, but I will still be back due to the kindness of the staff.

This place is amazing. The woman who handles the drop off laundry is a living god of folding. I’m talking magic. Some uncanny mix of natural talent, years of mastery, and a touch of loving craftsmanship allows her to press every last molecule of air out of clothes while keeping them wrinkle free and all articles perfectly aligned to the exact same size. We dropped off our laundry here while on vacation on a long camping trip. We had several loads and some smelly towels and swimsuits from ocean swimming. In return, we got fresh, tiny, perfectly stacked cubes of color that left our bags wondering where all our clothes had gone. The owners were super friendly. And they did all the loads in a couple hours while we explored the citadel. Highly recommend. And worth it to wash already clean clothes, just to witness this ultimate display of finesse and prowess.

I just love this laundromat and the owners. Aside from how wonderful and friendly they are, the machines are super clean, price is fair, and when I drop off the laundry it's perfectly done and folder (like how does she do that??!!) This place is a staple in my neighbourhood! Thank you!

After trying Olympic Laundromat with horrific results, we ended up at Murphy's Laundromat. What a lovely experience we had here today! The woman who greeted us was helpful and friendly. She helped us find a parking spot (right next door), explained which were the larger capacity machines and how to use them, and she answered questions that we had throughout our time there. So thankful for kindness and respect that is easy to give. We got all of our laundry done and had a great afternoon sitting in the sun! I highly recommend Murphy's Laundromat!

I have to fly out of town very early tomorrow morning and decided to Google and find a laundromat that could wash and fold my laundry for me after I dropped it off. After reading the reviews from Murphys Laundromat and calling and speaking to Young-Hee on the phone, I decided to try out their services. Young-Hee was very wonderful to talk to on the phone and even nicer in person. She listened patiently as I explained in detail the way I like my laundry to be processed. I could not have been happier about the results. All of my laundry was meticulously folded and even my laundry bag had been cleaned. Now instead of rushing to get all of this done before the end of the day I can relax and enjoy my evening with my family before going out of town. I will definitely use their services once I’m back.

Great service, wonderful owners. Place is older, but spotless and very well cared for, which is a rarity at laundry places. I use the drop-off service; prices are reasonable, and my clothes are folded and stacked perfectly each and every time, and slow/air drying items are separated from the rest of my clothes. Perfect for the fast-moving, on-the-go Haligonian who doesn't have time in their day to go through the waiting cycles of doing laundry. I even unknowingly left $20 in my pocket, and it was taped to the top of my clothes pile at pickup. How many laundry places have you used where you've forgotten something in your pockets, dropped off your clothes, and the contents disappear, never to be seen again? Here, you get it back. Honesty, professionalism, and quality service go a LONG way for me, and this place has all of it. Highly recommended- Murphys is the best laundry place in the city.

Overpriced drycleaning and found lots of holes on my shirts after asking loundry and folding. There were mostly old stinky smell loundry machines, outdated. Dusts were everywhere, needed to be clean the floor. Customer's clothe were mingled with those dust on the floor. What on earth she is doing? there not caring customer's clothes , leaving on the floor like that. Seen Asian lady shouting at other staff. She has a b -polar Never comeback!
