The dryers are 25 cents for 4 minutes and clothes are still soaking wet after 3$. The washing machines didn't do such a great job either.

I have laundry in my apartment but it was broken so I had to visit a laundromat. This doesn't happen often so I don't have a go-to place. I went to google and saw the first place listed and decided to call (because of Covid) to make sure they were open. They were not open although their posted hours said otherwise. So the next on the list was Halifax Laundry Co. I called to check their hours and I got the new co-owner. She said their hours were the same as posted and even said that they had just left and the door was open so if I got cold to shut it. It was a wonderfully pleasant conversation. I went and while doing my laundry ran into the other owner and he was there cleaning. He was also super friendly and told me about the plans to renovate and make it a more welcoming laundromat, as they only bought the place a week ago. I knew the reviews weren't good before going but decided to give it a shot anyway, and I'm very glad I did. It is now going to be my new go to laundromat when my laundry isn't available (and maybe even if it is). ????

Very clean and well operated place! Good washers finish your laundry in 30 minutes. Not to mention the place is SO cute with very friendly owners who are quick to help if you need anything! Definitely the best laundromat in Halifax :)

I love this place!! I live in an apartment that has horrible laundry but when I found the Halifax Laundry Co it was a true blessing. Free WIFI, Cheep washing and drying, ATM, Coin exchange machine, snack machines, and free soap on Sundays!! As a student this is the perfect environment to do do homework while I wait for laundry. Clean, concise, and consistently great!

Before the new ownership, this laundromat was just a sad reality of what it’s like to not have in-suit laundry. Now, with the new ownership and stunning renovations, I can confidently bring my laundry into a clean, safe environment that I feel comfortable hanging around in. There’s snack and books, and everything you could ever want or need while you wait for your cycles to finish. Also, all of my friends who have in-suit laundry are a low key jealous that they have no real reason to come here!

Clean place with well kept machines. My only recommendation is to have a laundry soap and related products dispenser. Edit: Thanks for the response Dave and Angela. My apologies, I didn’t look closely and thought the gum-ball dispenser had gum-balls! Knowing that now makes it a 5 star. Cheers

It's very easy to complete your laundry washing, staff are welcoming and available at message platforms, you can find pots of soap. To improve the users guide it will better to add a chronograph demonstration for dryer time using.

Great place to wash clothes in HRM plenty of machines, there's an atm and change machine right inside. Snacks, drinks and soap aswell! Owners are super nice and friendly. Even have little wallets for your coins!

When my boyfriend and I saw the previous reviews suggesting that this was a good place to do laundry, we thought we'd try it out. When we pulled up out front, we immediately debated whether or not we should go somewhere else. The interior was even more frightening. Beneath the layer of grime, sat poorly maintained machines with a tendency to eat our money. Upon finding that our dryer had a hole in the lint screen, we proceeded to check all of the machines only to find that they were all either broken or too dirty for us to put our clothes in. Other than the free two hour street parking out front, this place has nothing going for it. If the other reviews are true and this place is the best in Halifax, then I shudder to think of what the other laundromats must look like.

Would be a perfectly acceptable laundromat if it didn't take over an hour to dry a load. I used the upper dryer second from the right. The one to the right of it was in use and kept stopping for what appeared to be no good reason. Mine ran as instructed but was just slow. Lint filter was clean. They have Wi-Fi here but no bathroom. There's room to sit and some electrical outlets for charging phones or whatever.

I went here for the first time today. Love the aesthetic: white walls with a dash of colourful smiley faces - minimalism yet fun and welcoming. The vibe makes such an annoying task really relaxing. I sat for an hour washing two loads and only used one dryer for both loads. It only felt like 20 minutes because I was able to entertain myself with their free Wifi while I waited. I had the laundromat all to myself ???? Loved it!! Also loved the beautiful plant ???? in the corner (curious to know where the owners got it from ????) I would also suggest adding yourselves to the list on Yelp so that others and myself can leave a review on there.

The place is always super clean, even when it’s busy. The side-load washers do a fantastic job of spinning stuff dry so you save on dryer coins, I’ve never used the top load units so I can’t speak to them. I tend to do smaller loads across two dryers and have never had a problem getting anything dry. The max I’ve ever had to top up was a quarter or two. Snack selection is on point and the library is getting pretty good too. Overall, a super welcoming spot, next door to a great coffee joint, that I actually enjoy going to for my weekly hour of zen.

Clean and bright but would be greatly improved by having a few designated scent free washers/dryers. Have had two loads ruined by other folks dryer sheets that were wedged/hidden in the dryer drums. There aren’t many laundry options for people on a budget who react to scent and dryer sheets are the worst

A much more inviting space to do laundry after the renos with incredibly warm new owners who are responsive and welcoming. Great idea with a snack machine, sometimes I stop by just for a Fig Newton.

Its my first time and won't be the last. I did input my coins in slot dryer machine wrong one by accident and I called the owner ms. angela where she came in less than five minutes reimbursed me for my coins in wrong dryer machine slot and offered me free dryer cycle as I wasn't having certain no. Of coins and i was on my way out to get that exact amount very much appreciated her help and support. Iam glad doing business with her going forward.

I have been here a few times since moving into the neighborhood though in the future I will be going elsewhere. I had a chat with another patron today that put things into perspective. She maintained that it used to be reliable but things have slid. Multiple broken machines both dryers and washers. The washer I used today didn't have a sign but the spin cycle was broken so my clothes were sopping wet. Apparently this has been an issue for a while but alas... not even a sign. Half of the driers were broken and one occupied but the one available had a jammed change slot so sopping wet clothes had to be lugged home to dry on a rack. Previous issues were a broken change machine which directed to a nearby convenience store which didn't have change. Just a mess. Don't open if you can't perform the basic service you maintain to provide.

Called and spoke with Angela who was very friendly to speak with. I was trying to find a laundromat that allowed me to just use the dryer as our home dryer stopped working. Many other places in the city have a policy where you have to use their washer as well in order to use the dryer. This place doesn’t have that policy which was very helpful for my situation! Clothes took around an hour to dry. Thanks for the service! Was super helpful.

A true blessing when our washer broke! ???? It is a beautiful, clean and well maintained space! The bench outside is fabulous for people watching! A great peace of mind knowing this is in the neighborhood.
