Took my tie in to get dry cleaned - and they cleaned it, but also ripped open all the stitching on the back of the tie. I asked about it, they said "damage is not our fault and beyond our control". They wouldn't fix it and wouldn't refund or part refund. I will not be going back, just be careful and check your stuff before you pay.

Very much regret choosing their services. Brought in my designer poncho to fix a rip, the seamstress absolutely ruined it, sewed on top of the label, very unprofessional. When I asked to remove the sewing she made, she took it upon herself to make a decision not to remove them. Wish I could attach a photo here so you could see. I do not recommend you bringing valuable things there

Brooks Bros shirt ruined. Exact story as above review by S H. No apology, stern about it being 'my fault' for wearing deodorant. Their cleaning process will take your $150 shirt and turn it into an unwearable rag. Furthermore they charge close to $5/shirt and $30/suit... Expensive, unresponsive, do not take ownership and poor quality cleaning.

In Vancouver on vacation and needed to have our clothes laundered and folded. We called a few places and some people, I could tell, would be a mistake to use. We called Woodman’s Cleaners and the woman that answered was very thorough and helpful! She made sure to understand what I needed and let me know how she could meet my needs. They had a gentleman pick up our dirty laundry from the hotel. He was very quick, and we met him at the concierge desk by accident. That is how fast he was in getting to our hotel. We received finely laundered, pressed and folded clothes. Everything is perfect and the money spent, 100% worth it. I highly recommend this company for laundry services. Don't fall for the fake 5 star reviews. Notice every 5 star review says "worth more stars" and the account history only has one review. This place is a scam, they often damage your clothing and blame you.

I had been a customer of this business for over two years. I own many expensive suits and have always brought the clothes there because of its convenience of location. I recently dropped off a suit of mine ( A Zegna suit less than a year old). Upon picking it up, I noticed a large tare in the arm. I immediately returned to the drycleaner to bring attention to the issue. I was told this was normal wear and tare and that it was most likely like this before I dropped the suit off. Anyone who knows me knows I have a massive attention to detail when it comes to my clothing. The opposing arm in comparison shows almost no signs of wear/tare This business that I have spent $1000s/ per year will not see any further business from me in the future. Beware.

Got my pants hemmed there because it was conveniently close to work but will be my last time for sure. Not only do they charge a ridiculous price for hemming, the quality of work is worse than I can do. Would not recommend to my worse enemy. Top pants on the photo is hemmed by Woodman's and bottom pants is what it should look like.

After calling three different cleaners from West Van to downtown, I found Woodman’s, who not only promptly answered the phone, but said “yes” to a rather urgent and last-minute request in the middle of a busy Thursday morning. Pam patiently guided me through the subterranean maze that is the Bentall One lower level over the phone until I located them on the north side. It had only taken them 1 hour to clean out a stain I had been wrestling with at home for multiple washes, and I found it hanging neatly on their rack, good as new. A fair price for a job well done. They are professional, efficient, and personable. Saved me at the 11th hour from a work event fashion faux-pas... Kept Pam’s card, will return!

Will never go back to this place. They made alterations on my jacket which was mickey mouse, and to boot they said there were additional charges to get it done but never called and asked permission to proceed, they just charged me more - fraudulent place, don't waste your hard-earned money.

I cannot say enough about how good my experience was. I brought in my wife's wedding dress which another cleaner had badly damaged - I wasn't sure anything could be done for it, but I decided there was nothing to loss. The dress had been stained by the previous cleaner who had then put a sticker on the dress saying that they had been unable to remove the stain. Well to my amazement, and happiness, Woodman's Cleaners completely removed the stain. Not only that, but to do this they actually cleaned the dress several extra times without charging me any extra for it!

Took my light grey suit for dry cleaning and when I inspected it, I found a strange dark stain on the pant leg, almost like a kind of plastic that was baked into the fabric during the pressing. I went back and showed the lady (owner). She did not take ownership and immediately suggested maybe I did it. She did not give me a refund. All she did, after some back and forth, was offer to spot remove the stain. They were not able to. I am certain they screwed up and didn't want to be on the hook for it. She knew it was my word against hers, and you could tell she was being dodgy about it. Don't come to this dump. There are plenty of other options. Look at all the bad reviews it gets and it will be clear to you.

I had traveled to Vancouver with family and it was very nice to find this dry cleaner's that were very quick and efficient. We bought in our laundry and they were to be only washed and folded but they went above and beyond by steaming them and folding them professionally. Due to our busy tourist visits we need them to be delivered and they were nice enough to drop it by our hotel. Very nice people!

Worst service I have ever got in Vancouver. I left a Versace blazer with a handkerchief for pressing, when I got it back, the handkerchief was gone, the owner told me she didn't see the handkerchief in the first place without even checking the store. I went back again the next day and the attitude she gave me was arrogant and terrible, she asked me to leave the store without giving me any explanation. I will never go back again and I hope you'll never encounter such a bad experience.

took my brand new suit jacket for the sleeves to be shortened by an inch or so and they did absolutely terriable job. they removed all of the excess lining inside the jacket and appeared to have hand sewed everything. The buttons were also not sewed in a straight line. I took this back to them the next day and also showed them the workmanship on a similar jacket where the sleeve was shortened. I initially had trouble get a refund as the worker was implying that "her boss is not here and she cannot give refunds", after debating with her for an additional period of time, she eventually did give me a refund. I did have to take my jacket to another tailor to remove all of the tailoring and get it re-don. I would highly advise against anyone wanting to get any kind of alteration done on any of their suit jacket, attire, etc. Please be careful and dont make the same mistake as me.

I had given my wedding gown to get dry cleaned and you can tell from the picture that it came out worst than I gave it to them and they had the cheek to make me pay!!!! Do not recommend taking your clothes here - I had a 150$ Aritzia cardigan cleaned here and returned with holes (see the photo). When I contacted them I asked for a refund and for them to repair the holes. They claimed the holes were already there (the cardigan was nearly new) and refused to do anything. This seems like a common theme throughout the reviews. To top it odd it was over 50$ to clean 3 items

Do not entrust this entity with your clothing. A shirt of mine was ruined here, and I was not offered as much as an apology, refund, replacement, or store credit. My complaint was met with arrogance and brashness. Bad business, and zero ability to take accountability for their mistakes. If 0 stars was an option, I would rate it as such.

Obviously the owner has decided to use fake positive "customer" reviews which are mysteriously all by people with South -Asian names with otherwise empty Google accounts who either write nothing and provide 5-star ratings or write a few words in poor English but always without any specifics of their experience. But the owner has lost the battle against negative reviews because there is a mountain of them. Being unwilling to take responsibility for mistakes that destroyed clothes and making promises to customers that were unfulfilled is unacceptable. Woodman's Cleaners seems to think that we, the customers, need them but there are so many other drycleaners who are honest and can be relied on. Vote with your feet.

I went here to get my wedding dress cleaned and stored last year and had an okay experience. The price is high but my dress is a bit complicated with lots of beads and appliqués so I was willing to pay a bit more. The bottom of the dress is unlined tulle so when the dress came back there was quite a lot of fraying at the bottom but I expected a bit of that. The dress still wasn't as sparkling white as it was when I first purchased it. They got some of the dirt out on the underside of the train but you can still see it's a bit grimey. For a $100+ dollars you're hoping for a wedding dress that would be white. They do a great job of packaging with a window to display the dress. I would give them a 3.5 out of 5 for my wedding dress experience. I'm giving them one star out of 5 for my most recent encounter with them. This was my second encounter with Woodmans and I had two dresses that needed to be altered. The first dress just needed a simple shortening of the hemline. Single layer, no liner. Easy stuff. The alteration for the second sequin dress seemed to be too complicated for their seamstress so I was encouraged to make it as simple as possible for her. They did a pin up job and then said they would consult the seamstress and call me back. I told them okay go ahead with the first dress that needs a simple shortening and call me regarding the second one. I got a call the next day saying that the seamstress would like me to come in for a fitting regarding the sequin dress. I went there the next day Wednesday, and they said the seamstress wouldn't be back in until Tuesday. I said that's fine, no rush. I didn't need the dress until New Years as long as my 1st dress was being shortened. I went back the next Wednesday and the seamstress was not available at the moment. At that point I wasn't too fussed and I wasn't sure if I was going to wear the sequin dress anyway so don't bother with altering that one. I just wanted to pick both dresses up and move on. I was getting ready to pay for the first simple shortened dress and the lady at the counter stated that they hadn't done anything with the first dress as they were waiting for me to get back to them regarding the second dress and forgot about the first one. I said that's fine, I understand it can be confusing and I would take the dress somewhere else to be altered as I needed the dress to be done by Friday. The lady at the counter insisted that the dress could be done by Thursday 4pm so I left the dress with her. I had no reason not to believe her, it was literally a simple hemline shortening. I go back today (Friday) morning at 10am to pick up the dress and the same lady looks at me and says "Oh my god I forgot!" Literally picks up a dark bag off the floor and pulls out my two dresses totally untouched. At this point (being my 3rd visit here in a week), I'm too annoyed to really say much. I ask for a plastic bag as it's pouring outside and as she's handing me the plastic bag all she can say is, "I'm sorry I forgot. My mother has been sick in the hospital." What I wanted to say but didn't as I was too aggravated to say anything in a nice tone was "I'm sorry your mother is sick but I wish you would have been professional enough to pass on the work you can't do to another employee, or tell me honestly you can't do it as now I don't have the TIME to get the dress altered for tomorrow!" Thank you for completely wasting so much of my time AND making me look for another dress to purchase for tomorrow. Maybe it would have benefited your business to offer some sort of consolation discount as I find this EXTREMELY inconvenient for me. Will definitely not be coming back here.

Scam alert.....Fake....Fake.....Pam Mand the owner there believes she is great at her job and she is always right and never wrong. Even if she charges you extra for the services they have done without authorization. But she is used to giving out additional services and charging extra when she has got the client all worked up and pumped up and she then rides them with the service add ons. So be careful of this lady of the night she likes to gossip and charge extra even for stuff don't to you that you didn't agree to. Total scam shop. A real rip of to say the least. No professionalism there at all. Better of to have their place in Surrey where they belong and where her night customers are. She would save the time travelling from van to Surrey everyday and get a few more clients inn.....fake reviews and fake people. They are just standing there to rip you omg not greet you. Pam your the lady of many talents.....

The small touches are the most important like when I got married she personally dry cleaned and packaged my wedding gown and reception outfit into display boxes.
