No issues. C$15 for 10lbs, got it back folded. 'not folded' is a bit cheaper. Only drop-off at the moment. Done in 3hours. Totally fine service as our washing machine was not working at the time.

Same as all others experience. I walked in, and got the worst experience of my life in dealing with a business. I had my clothes to wash with me, a crisp $20 and ready to wash. His first words to me were "No thank you". Followed by "you can go". I wouldn't be surprised if this pathetic dump isn't a money laundering front for yaun. No way this horrible service can survive in downtown Vancouver. Avoid this garbage

Do not go there. The operator is a disgrace to all who work in a customer service related industry and a disgrace to not only Vancouver but Canada as a whole. As a tourist I am appalled by the rudeness and outright "crazy" of this lunatic. Tourism Vancouver should remove him from dealing with anyone as it has a negative impact on an otherwise great city. The place was also somewhat grotty - even though his crazy saw me leave with unwashed - I think they are cleaner than the machines were.

Horrible experice! My washing machine broke down so I went online and found this place to do my laundry. I walked in and was immediately confused with their price. Apparently they charge $10 extra if you have towels in your laundry. I wasn't sure what to do so I asked the man if I should pay first before I put everything into the washishing machine. This man looked at me as if I'm an idiot and yelled "if you don't know how to do, get out!" ......... I replied "sorry I'm just not sure if I should ..." he didn't even bother to wait until I finish my sentence and literally just yelled and repeated the same sentence "you don't know how to do, get out!" .... ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I was really shocked because I didn't do anything to deserve all these yellings. I have never met this man before and that's my first time doing laundry in this outlet. Well, my first time trying at least ... so I took off and went to the one on Davie street instead. It's cheaper, no one yelled at me for no reason, and the owner was nice enough to guide me through what I should do and how long I need to wait and etc. I will never come back to this laundry shop on Abbott st. in Vancouver and I do not recommend this place!

Basically your only option if you live downtown. Drop off service is convenient and reasonably priced, but be aware that it’s a 10lb minimum charge. Also, be aware that random items will go missing and they are not held responsible (due to the sign that says so). In the year and a half I’ve been going there (using the drop off service specifically), I have lost 4 items and have gained 1 of someone else’s (one sock, so kind of useless). The do-it-yourself option might be better if you’re not ok with losing an item or two every so often. Don’t even begin to expect anything in the way of customer service, because you most likely won’t find it here. However, the turnaround time is incredible for drop off service (usually within 2 hours). You have to take the bad with the good I suppose.

Man running the place was completely rude and then told us self wash was only on Wednesdays???? (We went on a Saturday morning). Steer clear. Area is also full of drug addicts hanging around.

This is by far the closest laundry to me and i refuse to use it as he really goes out of his way to treat human beings like they are enemies. I would sooner bike an extra couple of miles with full saddlebags than contribute my money to his attitude.

The Asian guy working here is a complete dick. Got into an argument with him over why I can't use one dryer for two wash loads. The guy isn't violent but all he did was get up in my face and yell "one machine, two machine" and variations of this. I asked him why and he got pretty aggressive. He eventually blurted out that the dryers are 10lb machines-- which was sufficient for me as motors do burn out from overwork. But at that point he was already kicking me out. I wasn't having any of that as my laundry was wet so I just tried reloading the machine a few times until he gave up. I told him to call the police if he wanted to. He called me "crazy," this guy is incapable of really the most basic use of English and this is where the problem lies. He is still a dick and if you want to get into an argument over your laundry this is the place to go. The facilities are OK. I did end up using the two dryers as all I really wanted was a rational answer as to why I needed to use two.

Possibly the worst service I've ever had, rather than answering my question about how to use the machine the man just grunted at me and pointed to very poorly written instructions on the wall. Also when leaving, after thanking him and looking him dead in the eye he didnt even acknowledge me. if you want to do your washing with terrible service this place is perfect!

(Translated) The employee or owner who wore it: an oriental gentleman as unpleasant as you can imagine. He turned a deaf ear to what was asked of him. I had to ask him 3 times how long the wash lasted (which he did not put anywhere) and another client also had to ask him a couple of times what mode of washing corresponded with hot temperature that did not put it either. In my case I had to ask him to sell me soap and I wouldn't let go of the tablet with the other hand already extended until I didn't pay him the soap as if I was going to leave without paying having the backpack of clothes already on one of the washing machines. I realized that I needed another pill and went back to him to buy another one and he made a gesture that at all approached a helpful and attentive employee: rather he was disgusted to be bothered again. Almost an hour wait between washing and drying and bitter waiting. There were no chairs or benches and when I was leaning on a table that was there (not sitting down, just supporting me), the man came to get my attention. Bad service, bad attention - even negative. Dirty, shabby and neglected place. Prices well: same as others in the area. I put the photos I made to the laundry. I won't be back I'm going to another laundry, even if I get further. Tuve que preguntarle en 3 ocasiones cuanto duraba el lavado (que no lo ponía por ningún sitio) y otra clienta tuvo también que preguntarle un par de veces qué modo de lavado correspondía con temperatura caliente que tampoco lo ponía. En mi caso tuve que pedirle que me vendiera jabón y no soltaba la pastilla con la otra mano ya extendida hasta que no le pagara el jabón como si fuera a irme sin pagar teniendo la mochila de ropa ya sobre una de las lavadoras. Me percaté de que necesitaba otra pastilla y volví a acudir a él para comprarle otra y me hizo un gesto que para nada se acerca a un empleado servicial y atento: más bien le disgustó que le molestase de nuevo. Casi una hora de espera entre lavado y secado y amargante la espera. No había sillas ni bancos y al apoyarme en una mesa que había (no sentarme, solo apoyarme) venía el señor a llamarme la atención. Pésimo servicio, pésima atención -incluso negativa. Local sucio, cutre y descuidado. Precios bien: igual que otros por la zona. Pongo las fotos que hice a la lavandería. No vuelvo. Me voy a otra lavandería, aunque me pille más lejos.

Awful. The man was so rude. I asked him what it costs to dry a small load.He shouted "Prices on the wall!"Those are on a tatty cardboard notice 25c for 5 minutes.That does not say much.The woman was okay. She has 2 adorable dogs.The man is awful and very unapproachable.

Self service washer and dryer is a rip off, short drying time for dryer with low heat forcing you to pay much more in quarters then usual. Perhaps drop in service is better. Owner is rude and miserable and obviously jaded by the area. Mainly income assistance receiving people use the laundromat due to the area(Abbott/E.Hastings). Good chance of being the worse laundromat in Vancouver in all aspects for self serve laundry.

Not the most salubrious establishment but the machines were clean and worked well. Detergent and change available. Proprietor had a bit of communication problem but just smile and be polite and he was helpful, even loaded the washer and dryer with coin for us. $4.50 for a wash and dryer! It would have been $109.00 at the hotel, no kidding.

This place is between a drug clinic and a seedy hotel There are all kinds of junkies on the street The guy that runs the place has his hands full He’s not very accommodating but place is clean There is great coffee shop across the street Prado Cafe Uf you’re from Kansas go some place else but we’re from NY and it was ok

The only reason for the 3 stars are the washing machines. The best I‘ve had in 5 months. The dryers are really slow. 25/Cents for 5mins. Took me 40mins to get my stuff dry. 6 CAD in total for a double load. Only one downtown but North Van ends up at the same price but the orher way round. Crystal Clear has bad washing machines but amazin dryers. All even at the end ;)
