I messaged Moe Hagh through Facebook marketplace on Saturday to arrange purchase , delivery and installation of a new washer and dryer set , he was initially friendly and told me to message him day of purchase ( today Tuesday the 11th ) to arrange payment and delivery. Upon messaging him today he was rude and unhelpful and said he was to busy to talk and I needed to stop bugging him as he was busy with customers... I was trying to be a customer but instead received rude responses and was told I was being bothersome , I do not recommend this company one bit as when I called the store to speak with someone else he laughed at me and said he was the only one there and not to expect anything. I would give them 0 stars if possible !!

This store has great deals. However after purchasing a stove, it almost caught my apartment on fire in only 3 days. So I still had to go out and purchase a brand new one from The Home Depot. The final kicker was after going back with the fire hazard Moe was out right blatantly rude, and disrespectful. I found the customer service subpar at best, and he didn't not honor their 30 day warranty

We had an excellent experience with Moe at Dial an Appliance. My 77-year old mom had bought a refrigerator from him, without considering how it might fit through the doorway of our even-older house. He could have dumped it on us and said, "You bought it - the problem's yours!" but instead he worked with her over a couple of weeks to find something that would fit and she would be happy with. We ended up taking a fridge *and* stove and are very happy with both. We highly recommend them!

Very poor service and poor quality appliances. We manage a property management company and have purchased a number of appliances from Moe @ Dial An Appliance. Consistently his response time and follow up has been very poor, and the appliances he delivers continue to break down and result in tenant complaints. Worse yet, he informs he provides a 3 month warranty, and after the latest washer & stove both breaking down within the 3 months, he stopped answering calls and returning messages to address. Would advise to take your business else where.

We bought a used fridge from it and had a problem with it. He (the owner I am guessing) ordered a part on to repair it. Unfortunately the part took a while to come in, and the fridge continued to deteriorate, resulting in our food spoiling. The repair did not work and our food spoiled. He replaced our fridge free of charge, including delivery, and offered us $100 for our food. In all, I would say acted reasonably to solve the problem.

We cannot say enough good things about Moe and Dial an Appliance. We are a wedding & event venue. Three hours before the start of an event today our double ovens kicked the bucket. Sugar Mountain Caterers (who are fabulous by the way) told us that we could get in touch with Moe and he'd help us out. We had a stove with oven installed within two hours!! -an hour before the event. The caterers could do what they needed and the clients were barely aware of the issue. It is 5:38 and the guests are yet to arrive but we are ready. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Dial and Appliance is just another really good reason we love New West and businesses in it. #newwestbiz

Moe is a solid guy, fair and reasonable. I mean, you don't stay in business-in the same location for a decade by being otherwise. Just sayin'. Really really poor service as the boss was extremely rude! There isn't a warranty on their products as ours broke and they didn't fix it. He's nice when you are purchasing in the store but once you've paid, he turns to a different person. You have to be lucky to have a good experience here!

Shopping for a washer dryer used set I found one posted by Moe. I was too late as they had already sold but he contacted me the following Monday when he had another identical set come in. With reading google reviews I trusted to e transfer the full amount and paid for delivery of the units. Moe is very straight forward, honest regarding his products, services and I would absolutely recommend doing business with him. His price was also the best to be found. This is why I’m writing a review which I usually don’t bother to do.

Awesome place for used and reconditioned appliances. I bought a fridge and stove here in 2008 for my house in Coquitlam and they are still working. Went to look for some washer dryer stackables recently and was pleasantly surprised with the service I received from Kareen. The delivery was on schedule and professional. My tenants love the new set and here to another 10 years!

I went in there unsure about what and how to choose a used appliance, I have heard about a used washer and dryer and used appliance in New Westminster store and how great the service is. I quickly found the guy MOE here to be knowledgeable, passionate, and honest. I learned what they do to prepare the washer and dryer, which will help me take better care of the set that I purchased. The man who delivered the washer and dryer was quick, efficient, and very friendly. I have told everyone about how great the service and product is here! All around great experience!

Initially Moe responded immediately to my phone enquiry. I was looking for a replacement washer/dryer for my rental property and Moe advised he had a reliable exact replacement unit he could deliver and install on Sunday. On Saturday when I sent him a message to confirm he said his guy cancelled for Sunday but he offered to come that night at 6pm. Moe arrived with a colleague and immediately asked if we had etransferred him the payment. Since this was a used/refurbished set we weren’t comfortable paying until we were certain it was in working order. Good thing because first of all the unit was significantly lopsided which of course is dangerous for a washing machine. Next, the dryer was making very loud noises. Moe didn’t seem concerned about any of this and ended up telling us he didn’t care since he hadn’t been paid yet. Interesting that he expected to be paid for a unit that was not in proper working order. Additionally Moe texted me the warranty was 90 days but the invoice he sent said 30 days, which I asked about so he said he would “correct” it. Moe then admonished his colleague asking him why he didn’t “test the machine after picking it up from Home Depot”. So it would seem this unit was never repaired/refurbished. We asked Moe to take it away. The entire situation was unfortunate. UPDATE: Since Moe has decided to post my personal phone number in his response to my review above, I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will also be filing a complaint with the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Act. Posting my phone number is not necessary, is an attempt to retaliate, demonstrates a lack of integrity and professionalism and most importantly is a breach of B.C. privacy legislation. Also since my phone number has been shared publicly by Moe I invite anyone to reach out to me and I will gladly share screen shots of the text messages with Moe which clearly contradict what he posted in his response. I also see another reviewer stated Moe used her personal phone number in a retaliatory manner.

Yesterday I purchased a washing machine from dial an appliance On 12th street in new Westminster in Just up from 8th Avenue, I have dealt with this company in the past I had purchased my last washing machine and dryer from Moe The owner and manager of dial an appliance Many years ago had great service great attitude fantastic help I would highly recommend this small Used appliance Store to everybody I know I got a great price on a on a great used machine and I even got delivery at an awesome price , I did check other stores And found that the The customer service the appliances the cost you could not beat dial an appliance hes a great person to deal with very helpful very understanding I would deal with him again but his appliances are Refurbished And new parts put in the appliances if needed they are very clean and well maintained I don't see myself having to go back to him Because the quality of his appliances Well maintained I don't see myself having to return but if I have to he will definitely be the store I go back to I had great service great delivery he even removed my old appliance and no cost. Replaced 2 fridges in our home last year. They didn't have exactly what we were looking for but was offered a couple of other options which ended up working out perfectly and at a great price. Delivery did run late but Moe was quick to answer when we followed up - it happens. Moe is great to deal with. Quick, honest, no up-selling and to the point. Best to visit in person due to high inventory turnover. Moe and his brother's store nearby are my top choices for used appliances. Highly recommend.

SAVE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE!!! I would give this scam shop 0 stars if I could. I came here looking for a decently priced fridge with no problems and Moe one of the very unpleasant workers at the store chooses one out for me. I get back home after paying over $300 on this fridge and within the first week the fridge sounded like a bulldozer every second it was on (it did not sound like this at first) and it also didn't freeze in the freezer!! I obviously try to get my money back on this junk but when I came back Moe starts being completely unreasonable to work with. He doesn't even offer to repair the fridge and says the deal is final while swearing at me to leave. Extremely unprofessional.. go to another appliance store to be treated with proper respect instead of buying a hunk of junk here.

Very concerning to hear about this companies complete disregard for safety and customer service after a sale. Selling appliances that pose safety hazards not only affect the client but potentially numerous other families and individuals should something falter.
