Oct 2021 - Unfortunately I have to update my review. I used Cleany a few times before and was very happy, previously I gave them 5 stars. I just used them again for the first time since Covid and am incredibly disappointed. My ensuite bathroom was not touched, floors not mopped, bath tub in the main bathroom was not cleaned. It really didn't seem like much actual cleaning was done, only tidying (pillows were arranged, counters staged). I emailed with my feedback but Cleany did not offer to fix anything or provide a discount. They did refund the tip at my request. Previous review from 2019 : The online booking was super simple and convenient. Very happy with the service. I came home to a very clean house with nice staging type touches throughout. At first I was disappointed with my kitchen floor but I realized later that I needed to book tile cleaning specifically. Next time I'll add that to the package and I'm sure it will be spotless

Cleany's website design and booking process is A+. They take the guesswork and constant phone calls out of getting a quote for your cleaning service. This appeals greatly to those who simply want their home cleaned, and don't want to have to break their backs to pay someone else to do it; we are hiring cleaners to avoid work, and Cleany's site takes the greatest barrier out of the equation. Their customer service is excellent. I had small issues with my first cleaning, which was resolved within minutes of my inquiry to customer service (the most glaring issue turned out to be my own fault anyways). While they may have not met my expectations for my first (380$) deep cleaning, this is also probably due to my own incredibly high standards. These standards were met after a subsequent re-clean at no charge. I plan on booking Cleany on a regular basis, and if they continue to meet my expectations I will adjust the review to reflect the improvement in their already-excellent service.

Booked them through Groupon to clean my moms apartment. The girl did a thorough job and covered everything on the list I had made. A little confusion about supplies - email confirmation said we will supply but I didn’t know this was an option. Not a problem as I took everything over to mom’s but I’m glad I noticed this before the appointment. Otherwise communication was great leading up to the appointment as well. Thank you!!

Second time I’ve used Cleany and they are so accommodating for quick response and last minute service. Good prices too. Alina arrived on time and with her own supplies as requested, including a brand new mop head (because I am very particular about certain things). I had to leave for some running around and when I returned, she just kept working hard, without any intrusion to myself. My Hubby came home and walked into every room saying how clean it looked ...I tried to pass it off that I had done it myself - but he knew I would never have scrubbed the shower like Alina did :). Will use them again!

Cleany.ca is a straightforward online website to book your next cleaner. I booked it 4 times so far, and always was happy with the communication, timely arrival (they typically give you a one hour window) and friendly staff! Will definitely use Cleany again next time.

DID NOT SHOW UP. I found these guys on Craigslist advertising last minute cleaning services, which is exactly what we needed. We booked over the phone on Saturday morning for service on Sunday evening. Got an email confirmation on Saturday evening for the incorrect time... they were coming Sunday 8am instead of 4pm like we discussed on the phone. OK no problem... I adjusted my plans to accommodate 8am. Sunday comes around. No one shows up at 8am Or 4pm! Not one call from Cleany to explain what happened after several calls and messages that went to their voice mail. DO NOT USE if you want reliable service.

I have heard all kinds of stories about other cleaning companies in the past. The stories are usually the same, the cleaner started off great but then the quality dropped later on. Cleany is great and continues to be great. They are available, flexible, affordable, timely, and do a great job at cleaning. They also have a great feedback mechanism and if anything isn’t to your liking they address it immediately. For these reasons they have earned my 5 stars.

I hired two cleaners for my move-out clean so I could focus on the move and my new home. When I arrived back for my walkthrough I almost wanted to move back in, they had done such a great job! From baseboards to window jambs, the laundry closet and the stovetop - everything was shining. I’ve used these guys for cleaning, and they are AMAZING!!! They’re quick to respond to last minute requests and texted me when my cleaner was running late to let me know...something I really appreciated. They are EXCEPTIONAL at what they do. My bathroom and hardwood floors always look immaculate when they’re done. And they even clean my appliances!!!! It takes the stress of cleaning away as my husband and I have very busy schedules. Oh! And when they make my bed (if I ask)...HOTEL quality! I HIGHLY recommend them!

I hired them to do a mini "spring cleaning", set out the priorities as per their instructions and I was very clear. They told me that the client prior to me took longer as their place was a mess and that they will be 3 hours late. Okay...They arrived at 8pm. I asked for a 5 hour job but I was not going to stay up till past 10pm nor have their workers work 14 hour shifts. Their Cleaners have been cleaning since 8am in the morning and they were elderly ladies probably in their 60's. I felt bad for them when they arrived and the older lady was clearly in pain when they left. Super slow, poor English skills and did not follow instructions. Spent like an hour cleaning my oven and I ended up doing most of the work myself. The owner made me feel bad because I was a "last minute booking" but it was their prior client that took cleaning time off me because their place took longer to clean. I asked the owner to come back the next day and finish the job but she offered me 15% discount which was nice but they still did not do what they were hired for. I appreciate integrity but also accountability and seriously you can't have people work those long hours and not compromise on quality of service.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed unfortunately. I received 6 calls about how to turn off the stove and then the oven (which the cleaner turned on). When I finally drove all the way to New West from Vancouver to turn it off for them, I arrived to find that it was now fixed. On top of this, upon inspection, a number of spots were missed. The washer and dryer were never even dusted, the kitchen floor was left greasy, and the carpet in the bedroom had not looked like it had been vacuumed. Wouldn't use again unfortunately.

We hired Cleany for move-out cleaning service: After paying for a 4.5-hour move-out cleaning package, a re-cleaning needed to be booked due to multiple deficiencies. Cleany charged another 3 hours for addressing the deficiencies but the end result was still unsatisfactory. Another cleaning company had to be hired.

Good, friendly service from Yulia. She did a very good job with my bathrooms. My only big concern with the job was that Cleany didn't bring their own supplies. Literally nothing. Used all my cleaning products, including basic things like gloves and a dust broom. I'm new to hiring cleaners so maybe this is the norm, but I really expected a house cleaning service to have their own tools.

As a full time working nurse who has a toddler and dealing with morning sickness for 3 months, I was really looking forward to treating myself to a deep clean. Most things looked great afterwards but the floors were unfortunately not mopped. There were food smudges everywhere, foot prints and scuffs, a huge milk stain from the morning still there.. not even any signs that mopping was attempted (no water streaks, which are very easy to see on laminate floors). I don’t have super high standards, I’ve never even had a cleaning before! But even my husband could see the spots everywhere without looking closely. Our service was right before a long weekend and there were no cleaners available to come and redo the floors. I was offered a 30 minute price reduction which is fair but I have to say, clean floors was the service I was most looking forward to. It was extremely disappointing to come home to them basically looking the way I left them. Anyone who has kids will know, you have to spend 45 minutes picking up dozens of toys and toddler items so floors can be thoroughly mopped. When you pay $250 for a service you’ve never splurged on, something left undone that is so glaringly obvious is really, really disappointing. Will be booking with a different company for future services.

Let me preface this by saying that my house was cleaned and was not left a mess, it was tidy. That being said, I made an appointment and explained to the person booking my service that I wanted a *deep cleaning* of the house, along with my fridge and inside of the stove cleaned, and all the walls washed. Most of what I asked for was done, but the oven (which wasn't bad to begin with) was not cleaned to the standards that I would expect a cleaning service to provide. It was clean, but there was definitely residue left on it and was only cleaned to a level that I myself might clean it. As for the walls, some were wiped, however, a number of them were not and I can see large patches of dust sitting on them still (that was undisturbed during the cleaning itself). Price wasn't an issue for me, so I called Cleany to ask if perhaps not enough time had been booked for the cleaner to complete the cleaning (in that event, I would have paid them to come back, but when I booked they told me how long it would take based on my requests). The person I spoke to on the phone said that she would call the cleaner to find out what happened and said "I'll call you back in 10 minutes". I never received a call back and my concerns were not addressed. I would recommend this company for general cleaning and may have them back again for this in the future but they were not able to complete a deep cleaning for me as requested in this instance.

Had a crazy birthday party in my apartment. Cleany made my place back to how it was in couple hours! I could even concentrate on writing my papers.
