On March 9, 2020 we had D and D Clean Exteriors Ltd. clean moss off roof, which included hydrogen peroxide treatment, power washed 2000 sq. Feet of cement , washed house and shop, vacuumed inside gutters and washed outside and skylights, , cleaned windows. I am very pleased with the results, my windows have never been this clean, always had a film on them. They worked very hard to make them shiny, three treatments done, It has been years when some of this was done so they had the work cut out for them. They came at 9:30 and left at 6:00. They had two trucks and three men.

It was raining on the day they were supposed to show up so I wasn't sure they were going to arrive. They arrived shortly after 9 AM after driving from Nanaimo to Port Alberni. They were friendly and attentive. I asked them if they could do a small studio outbuilding too. They let me know about the condition of the roof. I appreciated that. They seemed to get all the moss. It's too soon to say how effective the moss treatment was. I thought the cost was a little high. But considering how hard it is to get anyone from our town to do this, I am glad to have them willing to come all the way from Nanaimo .

D&D Clean Exteriors Ltd. Service: Mainly roof demossing, gutter cleaning, and one side of the house siding and window washing. I saw D&D’s advertisement in a local flyer, and they were offering 10% off. We had a free quote on the work we wanted done and we were pleased with the estimate. A work team arrived just before we anticipated them and were done within a couple of hours. All workers on the roof were safely strapped and secured. We were extremely pleased with the work completed. And also, one of our neighbours located higher up that could see our actual roof from their location wanted to get the company contact details for their roof to be cleaned too. So it looks good.

We bought a fixer-upper and had a lot of contractors coming and going. Unfortunately, we were bad planners and the first time D&D arrived to clean the gutters they were unable to do the job. However, they were very patient with us and rebooked - AT NO ADDITIONAL COST - nobody does that anymore. Also, we threw in an additional house as our son has a broken back and could not do his own gutters. Again, D&D were very patient and understanding, they were able to schedule our son's gutters in the same day and charged a VERY fair and reasonable fee for the gutters. We will definitely use D&D again and recommend them to anyone/everyone we know.

I've given 1 star for the young man who did the quote. Things went downhill from there. Simple job......mobile home.....clean the gutters, make sure the downspouts run freely and seal one gutter leak. The guy that was in charge did a lot of complaining, insisted "that" wasn't on the work order, and was just rude. Left a real mess on the deck. You had a shop vac out already......just clean it up. Rained a lot the day they left and for several days after and half of the downspouts weren't running. The leak had not been sealed, understandable because of the rain. When he returned, he basically implied that I was lying about the downspouts, whined about not being able to get at the leak, and insisted it wasn't on the work order. Made more mess on the deck and left. My only regret, in addition to hiring this company, is that I paid them so quickly. Leak still not fixed. Live and learn.

We contacted D & D via their website regarding some very plugged gutters after waiting much of the winter for two competitors to finally deal with the mess. Imagine our surprise, when by the next morning, Darryl had already provided a reasonable quote, called to confirm we had received it, reviewed options for cleaning of some high level windows (our additional request, service was not pushed onto us), and said he would have a crew on site the next day! True to his word, the crew arrived on time and did an amazing job. They left the yard in such a spotless condition, one would think no one had been there. Except, for the fact that the windows were spotless! And even better, despite this morning's heavy rain, the gutters did their job perfectly for the 1st time in years. We had our vinyl siding, windows, gutters, fascia and soffits washed plus the wood trim was cleaned of fungus and mold using hydrogen peroxide. The D & D team did a great job of cleaning. And also drying, especially the main floor windows and the soffits. The upper floor windows had a clear dry added to the wash mix. The team did an excellent job of cleaning the moss off the roof and cleaning the skylights. The roof has concrete shingles and I previously thought that I could buy a powerful pressure washer and use it with a solution that allows a person just to walk away. First, my pressure washer did not reach to the top of the roof and where it did reach, there was still dry moss on the roof. Sweeping the roof was the solution and Clean Exteriors did a wonderful job.

Our storage facility in Duncan ( Pacific Rim Storage) has 140 storage units. From the initial meeting with Logan, who wrote up the quote, to Darryl who followed up with dates and times of availability, to Jonas and Burke who did all the hard work, it was an easy, professional, and friendly experience.I would highly recommend this company. Jonas and Burke were amazing! They had to scrub the inside and outside of the gutters on three buildings. Clean both sides of the snow guards on the roofs on those three buildings, plus clean windows gutters, screens, and snow guards on the office building. They worked until after dark to ensure that the job was done, and done well. I cannot say enough good things about these two young men or D&D Exteriors. We will definitely be return customers!

We received service today on 2 Duplex units, services provided were; House cleaning, gutter cleaning, clearing and repairing, window washing and screen washing. Arrived on promised time 9am, all employees where professional and friendly, also dressed in a company lego, which I thought was a nice touch. Many hands at work, I think I saw at least 5 people on the crew, as I was in and out all day. The work was done and completely cleaned up by 6pm. We also received a 10% discount as we where repeat customers! Totally unexpected but greatly appreciated. Value, quality, price, service all 5 stars plus! I partly view our home as an investment, regular maintenance keeps your investment protected, and growing. Will be hired on-going????

The company washed all the exterior wood trim on my craftsman style house, (some of which is almost 100 years old) prior to painting. The wood had not been washed for many years, and was quite dirty in places. They also demossed the roof. From my initial phone conversation with Darryl the owner, through the estimate visit, to the actual work, I was very impressed. I was very concerned about potential damage to the old wood, and Darryl took the time to answer all my questions, and explain their process, that no pressure was used, and all wood would be washed by hand with brushes. He also explained the demossing process. The team who came to do the work (Jordan, Joey and Edson) were polite, pleasant, knowledgeable and hard-working , and did a wonderful job! They obviously took pride in being careful and thorough, despite the amount of work needed being more than they expected. Their clean-up was great. The trim looks much better now! Lastly, the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend D +D Clean Exteriors, and will definitely use them again!

Firstly, I was surprised that they returned my phone call. Darrel came the same day and gave me an estimate in Nanoose Bay and we scheduled the job. The crew was very courteous and helpful.
